My kids play on there box for years so I finally bought my own. I was going to by a 4k player and was very impressed I didn't have to since it plays by 4k discs too. I love the ability to stream my videos too. The game part is just gravy. No I have to learn to play with more than the old Atari stick (dated myself). Great console overall.

The Xbox one S is a solid console. It's design looks really nice, is not too big, the controller feels comfortable in your hands and is responsive, you can plug you cells phone's wired headphones into the bottom of the controller to listen to game/video audio and use the mic for voice chat, plus it can be paired with a PC via Bluetooth. It supports HDR and 4k video playback and has a 4k Blu-ray player, making it one of the cheapest 4k Blu-ray players you can find. It also upscales your games.

Purchased my new device and it has a great picture. Was easy to install Netflix app, quick recovery of my xbox360 downloaded games. I realize only some compatible xbox 360 games work with the xbox one s. I searched backwards compatible games for xbox one s and found a list of the games I'm still able to play.

I finally took the plunge and joined the Xbox One/PS4 generation of consoles. I was kind of a lapsed gamer, only occasionally playing Nintendo games on Wii U/3DS since getting rid of my PS3 and 360. Though I own a Nintendo Switch now, the past couple years I generally wasn't interested in joining this gen of consoles. After Picking up a 4K TV, I started to consider purchasing a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. However, when I came across the One S for $190, I couldn't ignore this deal for the "lesser" version between the S and X consoles. The console itself looks good. I don't care much for white, but it works, and my Nintendo Switch looks good on top of it. The controller feels great. Though, the d-pad feels stiff and slightly awkward in positioning. Setup for this console is as simple as can be if anyone is intimidated by electronics. Not much else to add here, so what about performance... I don't have much to compare this system against, so the S holds up really well on its own merits. The games I have played run well and look good. I really enjoyed playing Cuphead but noticed minor technical issues--not sure if it's the optimization of the game or the hardware itself. The only slight gripe I have is the dashboard. It seems to be a bit more than the S model can handle and is not always the smoothest experience while navigating--I assume the One X handles the dash smoothly but I don't know. Now that I've had a few weeks with the console, I'm really glad I decided to go with the S instead of the $500 X. It's not to say I won't upgrade to the X in the near future, but I think this will tide me over until Xbox releases its next console or the X receives a price drop.

The Xbox one S is an excellent console, it is fast and looks sweet sitting by my tv. It is much smaller than the previous xbox giving you more options of where to put it and it is much lighter however it still runs cooler than the previous xbox and has better graphics. On the other hand, the graphics are not much noticeably better if you don't have a 4K tv, the graphics are still better don't get me wrong but this xbox really shines when paired with a 4K tv. Overall it is still an amazing console and i would buy it again.

Xbox has always been great, the only thing that sucks is that it takes forever to download games and even if you have a game disc it still needs to be downloaded which takes up more uneccesary room you already don’t have

As an Avid PlayStation Guy i never like X box. However Im very Impressed with this far More than the PlayStation For many reasons, Great video with the 4k. super disappointed in PlayStation for not joining in om the 4k fun. and love the TV features. Very Impressed with this system.
