Very addicting and a lot to do throughout the game. Much like an assassins creed game but your shanking orks all day. Very satisfying.

This to me was the game of the year last year. Amazing Graphics and gameplay and got for an amazing price on black friday. A must own.

Great storyline and combat action, with the unique ability to make personal enemies with the characters in the game. I would recommend.

If the newest Tomb Raider Game and Arkham City were to have a baby during the times of the Lord of the Rings, this would be that baby.

Though I'm not a Lord of the Rings fan I picked this up after seeing a trailer and have not been disappointed. The combat system is very good, much like the recent Batman games or Sleeping Dogs. The story is well told and the Saurons Army mechanic is very well done. I found I actually sought them out to have my revenge. I highly recommend this game.

This is a great game for anyone who is a fan of LoTR or not. It has great gameplay & good graphics. Though the missions can sometimes get a little repetitive, it's still a fun game to play.

Nice graphics and gameplay. A nice edition to the new generation of systems. Helps if you have seen or read about Lord of the Rings.

I'm not a big LOTR fan, but this game still was really fun. The missions are challenging, but not overwhelming. The story is good.

First off, you don't have to like Lord of the Rings to enjoy this game. The combat is fun and there's plenty variety in your weapons and attacks. The sound and graphics are top notch. This is a great game that no one was expecting. The nemesis system is cool and makes you feel like victory and defeat matter. This is a must buy and a GOTY candidate.

The story is very exciting and it is fun to play. The story takes a lot of time to complete if you complete all available missions.

If you enjoy Assasins Creed gameplay then Middle Earth would be a perfect fit! Amazing graphics and smooth gameplay. Love this game.

This game is awesome and has a great backstory. The game can be easy once you know how to work the system. However, the controls can lend themselves to cheap deaths/losses at points.

Right From the beginning of the game it's all action, possibly a little repetitive at times but still a pretty good game overall.

A fresh concept while exploring Middle Earth. It is so nice visiting the lands you love through a new side of the story and a new character. The open world is fantastic, you can go right through or take your time and do all the side quests and level up. The gameplay is smooth, the graphics are great, and the game is all around a masterpiece.

I greatly enjoy the game as it provided me wonderfully unique experience. It held similarities of various other popular games Like Assassins' Creed and the Batman Arkham games which mold strongly together with the nemesis system of Shadow of Mordor. After such enjoyment thus far, I look forward to playing further through the games story.

Based on reviews, I bought this. Game play is interesting, controls aren't hard to master. However, I can see getting bored after a while.

OK, so it may have a lot of elements of Assassins Creed but overall I like it. But I have one major complaint. When you die from a Captain, that Captain moves up in power. There happens to be one Captain that is stalking my player, seemingly appears out of nowhere and is now so powerful that I have no hope of killing him. Makes me mad. May have to start all over again and that won't happen. Far too many video games and not enough time.

Tolkien's world finally gets a game (without Lego characters) that respects the source material. The game's timeline is between The Hobbit and LOTR and all most all of the characters are creations of the developers, but the feel is right and--so far--it's satisfying my ache for an open world followup to Skyrim. Many hours of play ahead!
