We went through literally every type of landscape. Mountains to Deserts. We were always able to keep in touch. Some chatter came through from truckers but whatever… My only complaint is the battery life isn’t that good as we would have to recharge them daily even after minimum use. I would definitely upgrade for a survival scenario but they worked for what we needed. I’ll probably give them to the kids to play with.

But the range is just nowhere close to what I expected. Couldnt hear my wife when she was at post office 3 miles away when I was inside my home office. Still they work well in the house and around the neighborhood.
