Use it in the house, in the car (no working radio) and help with choir practices. Great little speaker to listen to songs on my smart phone! Do not like using ear buds. Wanted an external speaker, this is perfect for my needs.

This speaker provides a huge sound that is clear and crisp. It works well pretty much throughout the house. Very glad I bought it.

I needed a simple blue tooth speaker, picked up the Modal. Shortly after purchase, speaker started to "break up" sound. took back and purchased simple, slightly more expensive Jam wireless speaker. Sound quality better, connection simple, and no sound break up.

This is a great little speaker for what you pay. The first one had a faulty charger port, but after replacing it I haven't had any issues and I've been very pleased.

I have used this speaker everywhere, from the ocean to my back yard and never had any issues!

I got this speaker for my father, a beginner to the audio world. He liked it with no real frame of reference. I got it for him after testing the JBL clip, jamplus and soul speakers. For the price, it's very good and backed by best buy.

This speaker was not nearly loud enough and had to be reconnected every time I used it.

I've boughten 3 speakers of this kind, and I had the same problem at the end of it's lifetime. The charger input on the speaker breaks every single time eventually. I've boughten several of these and the same problem re occurs every time. This speaker is only gods for about a month or two. I wouldn't recommend it.

Modal - Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Blue never worked

OK First off I have to say that my buying experience at Best Buy was and always has been disappointing. When I asked technical questions as to the speaker wattage and the charging time I was told that they would look on the internet, though I did tell them that the info was not available online. There was no demo speaker so I could not "test drive the car before buying it" and when asked how I can make a good decisive decision I was told I could but it and return it if I didn't like it. Two problems arose from that statement. 1. Best Buy has amended their return policy since the begining of this year to now only allow return up to 15 days on all merchandise. So working and being busy makes it harder to "test drive" anything now. 2. If you have returned items at Best Buy " WITH A RECEIPT" in the past, Best Buys System looks at your history and will DECLINE ANY RETURNS no matter if you have a reciept or not if it see's that you have returned items to many times. What is that number? Who knows? The Best Buy Reps dont even know. Now being that Best Buy Representatives are seriously lacking in being able to assist anyone who wants to know everything about a product leaves a customer to test out products and then return them if they dont perform adaquetly are cheap or acking features. This results in a return with a receipt and counts against YOU when at the time of interest before purchase as a customer you did everything you could to find out what you can about a particular product. Now as for the Product Review: This speaker was on sale for $39.99 and I used a old $5 rewards zone certificate from earlier purchases this year. At $34.99 this is a Very Good product..... BUT at the original price of $59.99 I would say to buy other products out there that offer 2 speakers for sound seperation. This unit is fantastic at the price I paid for it and I have other Blu-Tooth speaker such as the Bose Sounklink for better sound but at $299.99 I dont take this baby out of the house and I can do so with the Modal I just bought. This Modal speaker can accept phone calls as a speaker phone which is a bonus but my main usage is for music streaming. I have yet to kill the battery and charge it when I do I will record the charge time as well as the usage time to see where it really stands. In closing catch this speaker ON SALE its a good speaker, at full price skip it and pay another $40 to get a better blu-tooth speaker
