The best! I’ve moved multiple times and redone many of my kitchens and this thing is absolutely amazing. We use it as a microwave and then as a crisping oven. The oven is an awesome feature and almost like an air fryer. Best technology and so easy to use and understand.

I read so many great reviews about this oven. I called GE multiple times. I really did my homework. The sales guys at Pacific Kitchen acted like this was the best oven that ever existed.
After owning it for a few months, here are my thoughts.
(1) Beautiful -- best looking combination oven that we saw by far. I like the European style handles and hated all those industrial-look handles on other brands like Viking and Kitchen Aid. My house is my home, not an industrial kitchen. The panel fades to black except for the clock (which is VERY bright) when not in use. I am not sure if light panel can be dimmed. But overall, sleek, stylish, very attractive.
(2) Low wattage microwave -- it's only 975, so it takes longer to cook anything than what it says on the package of whatever microwavable frozen meals you have. I've gotten used to it, but it's really disappointing for an oven of this price and caliber. Also, I thought the dial looked kind of cool (a little style) but there are a few too many things to do when you simply want to melt something in the microwave or cook at low power.
(3) Toast function -- requires preheating and the preheating takes a REALLY long time! I was hoping to use this and ditch having an ugly toaster in the kitchen, but no dice. The broiler works better for toast, but you have to change out the microwave glass tray for the speedcook tray PLUS an oven rack.
(4) Complicated. I have a master's degree and I read the manual. It's still a lot of steps and rules to use the Speedcook function. Really wasn't worth the extra cost at all. You have to change trays if you want to switch between microwave and regular/convection oven use. You'll need a handy place to store these trays when switching out.
(5) Loud beeper -- kind of annoying if one person is awake cooking when others are asleep. Still have not figured out if this can be lowered.

The best microwave I've ever bought. Never read the manual and easy to use; not really sure why the other review struggled. The light technology is my favorite; takes longer than microwaving but way faster than baking, broiling, etc. and it makes things crisp so bread, fries, whatever reheats great.
