I am one of those that's not going to spend $500-$1000+ for a phone. Especially if it's going to be replaced every few years. I have never needed the highest processors or the best cameras and all that. I use my phone as a phone, texting tool, web browser, and some other apps. I don't watch TV or movies on it, nor to I play any massive games. That being said, this phone is absolutely excellent. The speed is more than ample, and the 4GB of RAM provides no lack of app performance for me. The screen is large enough, very bright and the high definition is wonderful. The phone overall may feel to large for some folks, but it's just right for me. The body is basic plastic, but that is not a problem as usually a protective cover is placed over it anyway. Though I don't use any TV or movie apps on here, I have no doubt it would handle those just fine. Pros: -Price -Large screen with great resolution -4GB RAM -64 GB on board storage, with SD card slot for more. -Did I mention price? Cons: -Camera only so so. Though, that is to be expected for this price point. -No NFC support (not a problem for me now, as I don't utilize that at the moment for any pay apps). So far, really quite happy with this phone.

I've had this phone for a few days now and I love it. Coming from a Galaxy S9+ which was $900, I'm surprised at the quality of this device. It doesn't feel sluggish at all and the battery life is awesome. It's not amazing, but if you're not using a lot of background apps expect less of a battery. It still lasts a full day easy though. The pictures don't do the screen justice. The display is beautiful. Not one handed, but I like the big screen. The back of the phone is a dust collector, so get a case. The camera is decent. I like the ultra wide camera more than I thought I would. The volume is also fantastic. I love the speakers, even if the headphone volume is a tad low. System wide dark mode that carries across all your apps is lovely too. If you don't like the gesture mode, you can switch to a navigation bar. The phone is also rootable if you're into that. The unlocked variant has little to no bloat and anything you dislike you can disable. RAM has been decent. I use a lot of background apps, but even with those running, it still performs well enough. I've rarely had apps reload. 64gb is nice for storage and I love that there's room for more. I can see myself using this long term. Buy it.

Motorola did it again with the new Moto G Power cell phone! This is my second Moto G phone in a few years, and I specifically came back to Moto G because of the price point and phone features for that lower price point. First of all, the battery lasts a long time! I can go about three days without charging the phone with moderate use. Also, it has a very respectable camera, including a macro camera, which I love. I still need to check out the videos, but overall, I'm very pleased with the camera use. The one drawback with the phone is that the fingerprint reader is a little glitchy. I ended up storing my fingerprints as if I used more than one finger, but I really just used one finger multiple times. That helped somewhat, but I still find that I need to press the fingerprint reader a bit hard and more than once for it to recognize my fingerprint. That can be annoying, but I still love the phone. The size is great, too, since it has a bigger screen. I will say, though, that with a case the phone is a bit heavy, probably because of a bigger battery. For me, that isn't a drawback, because I keep it in my purse, not a pocket.

I do not require a phone with all the bells and whistles, but this phone seems to have it. Great camera, long battery life, easy to use. Many of my friends have an I-phone, this one does most of what theirs do, and for hundreds of dollars less, could not be happier.

This is my Fourth Moto Phone. My wife prefers her Apple and it's a shame she doesn't realize how much better this phone is. No matter where I go, I have a clear signal. She doesn't. Every app you can think of is on Google Play, not Apple. My Moto phone lasts Three days on a charge! Hers lasts a day. I can connect to our booster in the mountains for a crystal clear call. She can't. I transferred everything from my old Moto in ten minutes, she couldn't. I love this phone. I'm amazed everyday how such a low cost phone can perform so brilliantly. I can't say one negative thing about the Moto G. I have an IPad and I'd rather use my new Moto G. Excellent phone, perfect phone, how can Motorola sell this so cheap? Five stars!

This phone is quite exceptional, especially for the price! It is responsive and handles everything I need it to do and the battery life is fantastic. The camera is passable too, and it does shoot 4K video. Unless you're gaming, why would you spend $1000+ on a phone? This phone is also global CDMA and GSM, which is great for international travel...though that's obviously not happening as much right now. The Moto actions, like "chop twice" to turn the flashlight on/off and "turn over/face down" to enable DND are super useful. My only negative comment is the phone itself is quite slippery/hard to hold and perhaps feels a bit fragile; nobody makes a phone that can stand on its own anymore...remember the old Nokias that didn't need a case/cover and could survive a nuclear blast! Oh well, I purchased an OtterBox case which does the trick and fits perfectly.

Bought this phone as a birthday gift to myself and this phone is awesome. The screen is big & bright. The best feature is the battery which can last for a couple days without recharging (general use applied). That why it called Moto G Power. I don't need my phone to act like a personal computer, but, if looking for something that has all the necessary features that a smartphone should for all your daily stuff (clear calls, fast processor to handle any internet & social media apps, decent to above expectation camera, wont break your wallet or purse, etc.) This is the phone to have. LOVING THIS PHONE!

It's a great phone for people who don't want to spend too much. The battery is great, even with battery hog apps like Twitch and Instagram. It's very responsive and the photos and videos are great. I had no idea this thing could record 4k video until I checked the settings. All in all, definitely a phone to consider strongly.

My old Moto G5 Plus was ready for an upgrade, so I bought this. Much faster, better camera, even multiple cameras! I don't use my phone for talking much (mainly texting), and the battery seems to be lasting for days. Very cool. Why spend $700 when you can get a great phone for under $200! I'd recommend!

Outstanding battery life, clean UI. I disabled some of the built-in bloatware that comes on all Android phones like Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc. Runs Microsoft Launcher and other Microsoft apps well. Would've been nice if it included the better camera found in the Moto G Stylus, but this is the best bang for the buck. At the price, it's an excellent value – especially when compared to over-priced and over-rated products from Samsung. For a normal user, this phone is impressive. My only complaint is that like other phones from the past few years, it's very skinny. I prefer using it in landscape mode, but as the screens grow taller and more narrow, that becomes a challenge.

I picked this phone because it appeared to have the pieces needed to better support my hearing aid: Android 10 and Bluetooth. Unfortunately, it does not actually implement Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA). iPhones have had their own implementation for years and I hoped to get it with a relatively inexpensive Android phone. The phone itself has long battery life, a nice screen, and good camera. The large battery adds a bit to the weight. The CPU provides good performance.

I've only had this phone for a bit so I can't go into details on problems seeing as I've yet to encounter any. The battery has lasted me almost 2 and a half days. The amount of time you'll get out of the battery is dependant on your use from what I've seen so far. If your a power user the battery will last you the entire day, if your on and off on usage it'll last you 2 days max, if your a light user and only periodically check your phone for calls, sms, etc then you'll surely reach the advertised 3 day battery life. If you only care about upgrading your current phone and are struggling between choosing this or the Moto G Stylus then you'll need to find out what you value most. This phone has a 16 mp camera vs the G Stylus' 48 mp camera, 64gb of storage vs the G Stylus' 128gb of storage, 5000 mah battery vs the G Stylus' 4000 mah battery. There really isn't much of a difference between the two phones other than the key specs listed above and a $50 price difference.

Plenty of storage easy to use once you get used to navigating by swiping/swipe and hold, my old cell used had buttons on the bottom but it was a quick adjustment. Apps work well and moto gameplay option is nice. Camera is much better than my old moto phone and amazing battery life!

I never want another phone. How can I make this one last for the next 10 years? When I bought my first moto, 2 years ago, a Moto G 5, it had both 32gigs of memory and a big long lasting battery. Plus not much bloatware. Other makes of phones I have purchased over the years took 10-15 gigs up with stuff I couldn't unload. But unfortunately, I reached a point where I wanted even more memory. Though this phone's SD card does not integrate with the phone's processors, making it unusable for apps, at 64 gigs I decided to go for it. Only about 7 gigs are taken up with crapware so about 57 gigs usable. Fair enough! The feature that allows you to download all your old apps and SMS with one touch of a button is wow. I had my phone fully functional within a couple hours. I needed this nearly-seamless experience as I am in nursing school and forget having extra time. Learning the phone was fun. The quality and functions of the camera on this phone are an unexpected delight! Good heavens, it seems like it can do almost everything a bulky digital Canon I had in 2003 could do, and it's a lot more portable. The speakers are also much louder and have an equalizer that is great. When speaking on the phone, people no longer have any trouble hearing and understanding me whether on speaker or off. It actually has a better antenna because it picks up both wifi and local towers better than any other phone I've had here, making my life a lot easier. The battery life and the screen size turn out to be the same as my former phone, the Moto G5 - I was a little concerned that the screen size might be too large because I have slim, fine hands, but it's perfect - about the largest I would want - and still fits in a pocket! This is kind of an intangible, but it comes in a very nice box, which kind of tips you off that it's a high-end phone. All in all, it's a stellar phone with just about everything anyone could need, and at a lower price than other high-end models. (Though after this review, I wonder if the price won't go up! Don't get any ideas Moto!)

This phone is amazing! Easy to figure out for the most part. It re-charges super fast. Lots of reminders and organizes contacts and favorites making them easy to get to. I like the size of the phone, and how easy it is to move icons around on the screen. The camera shots are clear and the prompts are easy to follow. Motorola is a Six Sigma company, meaning 3.4 errors per one million opportunities. The quality is there! The price fit right into my budget. I love this phone! I wish I had bought it sooner.

There are already a bunch of reviews about features and picture quality and such, I'll try to make this one a bit different. I'm 57 but I'm rather tech saavy. That said, I don't really care much about the best picture quality and all the latest, greatest features, at this point a device just has to work as intended and not aggravate me with a bunch of unnecessary and unwanted features. My Samsung S8 died yesterday after a few weeks of inexplicably telling me I had moisture in my charging port. I didn't, and yes I tried the rice thing. I was trying to hold out for a Pixel 4a whose release was days away but as it turned out I needed a phone yesterday morning. After reading reviews on Best Buy I was leaning toward a Motorola product. I've had them before, no complaints, but it's been a while. Told the salesperson I wanted an unlocked phone because I'm tired of my carrier (AT&T) jamming a bunch of software on there. He directed me to Samsung, telling me they are the king of unlocked phones. I told him NO WAY. If there's one thing I'm sick of, it's Samsung jamming a ton of apps down my throat that basically mimic everything that Android already does. I don't need a Samsung browser, messenger, email, you name it. What's worse, they're constantly trying to goad or trick the user into switching over to their side. Drives me NUTS! Oh, and I sure as heck don't need Bixby (really, Samsung, you're gonna compete with Google Assistant?), a Bixby button that I cannot disable completely or a Bixby screen I cannot get rid of. This phone does NONE of that. As you can see from the other reviews, it just works, period. Sure, there are a few unique Moto features but they're helpful and simple and they don't bully you into using them. I'll be honest, if there were a Pixel there I probably would have bought it but, in hindsight, I'm glad I didn't have the option. This phone is just fine and saved me $125. I didn't buy the insurance, at $225 new I'll just buy a new phone if something breaks. No big deal, and another great feature of buying one of these! Final comment, thank goodness for Best Buy. My salesperson was great and it's a much better option than going into the AT&T store, that's for sure.

I should have bought this sooner. I upgraded from the moto e4(less than $50) because the battery wouldn't last long and the quality of the pictures weren't good. But this phone is huge improvement. The battery can last 2-3 days if you use it alot and if you don't use it much you can go about 6 days(over 5hrs of screen time) till you have to charge it. The camera app is great and the picture quality is nice. It has a lot of features that I don't use. The sound is great and plays loud without sounded distorted. Also the picture is great. My only downside with this phone is that its big. It takes a lot of room in your pocket and won't fit in some, also when you have a case on it. It also can be unresponsive, where it will restart on its own and take awhile on the startup page but its rare. But other than that its a great buy and had no problem.

This is the third moto phone I have purchased. They are a great price forbwhat you get and ots unlocked to use with any service. The sound quality is pretty good, my htc with dual speakers was a little better but this is a close second. It holds its charge for a long time. Powers up fairly quickly, I disabled the music. There are very few extra apps taking up space. Its really easy to add and delete apps and navigate settings and controls, very user friendly. The picture gallery is google photos which I already use anyway. I do veideo chat a lot and it keeps up rarely lagging and thats usually my cell reception not the phone. I would reccomend it as very good quality and you get a lot for small price.

If you're like me, you hate when your phone dies during the day. You hate having to control your usage in order to make sure you have enough power to make it to the charger at night. After struggling with a Pixel 3a,I decided to get the G Power. This thing has an incredible battery. I am a heavy user and still go the bed at night with it at 50%. It is an extraordinary deal. It's as fast as any other phone, has a good camera, and really feels like a device 4x it's cost. Don't waste your money on high end phones, this is a great device as long as you aren't a hardcore gamer. It even has a headphone jack!
