I did extensive review on and about this phone prior to purchase. It is my 2nd Motorola phone. Only owned 1 week but the battery lasts like they say it will, i.e. 4 days. The case is somewhat slick to me which enhances IMO the ability to drop it and, therefore, it was not used prior to the purchase of a case for it. It operates fast. A little difficult to get used to not having a back "button" but any new feature has a learning curve.

This replaced a Samsung 6 that gave me 5 years of service but a drop of 12 feet had me online at Best Buy. I had no desire to pay hundreds for a phone and I'm so glad I didn't. The Moto G does everything a phone should and a lot more. Is the picture quality iphone 11 pro good? Of course not but if you want Android features and great battery life for less than $150 I can find no reason to spend more. I had no idea what an "unlocked" phone meant so a very helpful young man helped me get set up and on my way quickly.

It has been great so far. I love the battery capacity. It looks more expensive than it is. Web surfing, calls, texts, e-mails, all fine, I haven't used the camera much yet, but since I was coming from a Samsung S5 I expect I'll be satisfied.
The "Moto" gestures work pretty well. Shake the phone twice to turn the camera on. Give it a twist to get the flashlight started. A fine product at a reasonable price.
Best Buy service was excellent.

I've had plenty of phones in the past all the way up to $750 price wise. As I'm retired now cutting back on my expenditures I went for a lower costing phone this Motorola g power is a super good phone I would rate it as good as the higher $750 phone. The battery life is for super Superior to any other phone I've owned in the past. This phone is very easy to use. It's one of the best purchases I have made and Best buy had hands down the best price way way better than a Verizon store by a couple hundred dollars.

I received my Moto G Power on the release date-04/16/20 at my home. Set up was really easy! The phone exceeds my expectations! My old phone was a Moto G5+. What an upgrade! The new Moto G Power's screen is big, sharp, navigating the phone is really easy. The battery is huge. I'm a light user, I didn't have to charge the phone for 5 days! I like everything about this phone! Big screen, battery, 4g of RAM, 64g of internal memory, triple camera on the back,as well as the fingerprint sensor. All this for $250, it's a bargain. A person doesn't have to spend $1,000 on a cellphone anymore. If you're looking for a new phone, check this one out. You won't be dissappointed.

I love Motorola phones get a lot of bang for your buck...with a good price!!!...I like the "gesture" part of phone. Twist the phone camera comes on... Give it a shake & flashlight comes on. Now with this new model....the battery life is amazing I'm writing this review now at the end of the day and still have over 90% left!...& The new camera is awesome also.

Love this new gen Moto android phone. Although I had a Best Buy rep do the setup and transfer of content from my previous Moto phone, I could tell that it was very straight forward and done in almost no time at all.
Moto G Power improves on basic features without making transition from older gen phone to the g Power very easy. The camera produces clear, more crisp pictures than my previous Moto. Even the finger print recognition is better! There are more camera features than with the previous Moto g gen phone for greater picture and video making and image editing.
Nearly everything transferred although I did have to reload one or two apps. It was easy to personalize for the lock screen and home page images; even my apps folders transferred intact!
A real bonus is that Moto customer service is also great. I've had problems with text message that related to my former carrier. It wasn't the new carrier's problem, not Best Buy's, and not Moto/Lenovo's problem -- but the Moto/Lenovo tech worked with the problem, answered my questions and eventually found the one remaining link to the former carrier and eliminated that problem-causing link.
I look forward to using this new gen Moto g phone for years.

Motorola phones offer a good product at a good prices in the battle of budget phones. Had Moto G5 Plus for the past 3 years and power button went bad ... - upgraded to the new Moto G Power. Stock Android 10, no bloatware, decent camera with f1.7 aperture, good stereo speakers, and the 5000 mah battery goes for days. Hard to be the features of this phone for the price point. A little bigger phone than I prefer though. Other than that, well please so far.

This phone performs well above its price point. With how well this phone works it's hard to justify paying the high price of a "flagship" phone.
While the phone lacks the machined aluminum of the much higher priced phones, once it's placed in a case can you really tell? Android 10 is also a nice improvement over previous versions.
Perhaps the biggest advantage to me is that the Android system is very close to the vanilla Android 10 release, and doesn't have a lot of the "customization" manufacturers frequently include.
If you want an excellent performing phone without paying a four figure price take a look at the Moto G Power.

Fantastic phone. Every bit as good as my girlfriends I-phone and in fact this screen is just slightly bigger. Plus, the battery literally lasts three days on a single charge with fairly heavy use! Really happy with it and it's much more affordable than many "flagship phones". the reviews I read from places like Cnet, Consumer reports etc were correct, this is the best phone under $300.00, Don't hesitate, buy one. I think I'm going to be buying Motorola Phones from now on.

Replaced a 5 year old Motorola Droid that gave phenomenal service. This phone has everything you essentially need. Good cameras. Decent call quality. Very good sound quality. Fair dull screen....and the reason I purchased it -outstanding battery life: 3 1/2 days on a single 3 hour charge. Headphone jack. No NFC. No wireless charging. Sturdy plastic case that is a fingerprint magnet. Overall a good
value for a $230 non-flagship phone.

I’m changing from a Pixel 2XL, a phone I liked but just kept breaking. I do medium contract work always up and down ladders, riding lifts etc and can’t seem to keep a phone in one piece for more than a year. This review is not about durability. The phone is used primarily as a phone with light 1.5GB month data usage w/texting and some hot spotting, The screen is large and readable, the speaker while not super hi fi, is very loud. It’s as quick as the pixel with apps everything works sharply. Yes, the screen could be a little brighter out in the sun, but it’s still usable. I like the macro camera it works very well for reading fine printing that my eyes can no longer see. Battery has not been at 0 in a day after 3 weeks and that’s with heavy map usage. For 230.00 I’m very pleased. No, it’s not a flagship, but very capable for regular users.

I bought this phone to replace my "drowned" moto g7. i find it to be very similar, performance wise. One advantage is the 5000 battery it last a long time on the other side it does not seem to charge up as quickly as the G7 but battery life is very good usually full 2 days of use. the other advantage of this Phone is 3 camara system, I didnt buy it for the camara im old school i buy a phone to use as a Phone. but it is a improvement for those who like camara features. this phone has a nice big screen and good audio sound also.

Excellent budget phone that does everything most people will need. I bought this for Mom and it's just perfect. The battery lasts way longer than my top of the line Samsung. Yes, it's fractions of a second slower at doing things than my Samsung, but is also only cost 15% as much. Mom never used the camera on her previous phone and she is perfectly satisfied with the camera on this one that she did learn how to use. For the price, you can't go wrong.

I got this phone for my mother. It's battery is sublime, hardware is decent for normal users that use, email, social media, and take photos. The camera isn't a thousand dollar phone camera, but for the sake of printing 5x7s and sharing via social media its a great camera.
If you aren't techy, and not a gamer this is a great phone. The build is great. It is slightly larger and heavier, but that is due to its giant battery.

This is a really great phone. Incredible value. The screen is bright and high-resolution, the processor is fast, and the speaker is great. We got this phone for my grandma as an inexpensive replacement for her iPhone 5s. The screen is larger than the the entire iPhone 5s by a wide margin, which helps her see. Very attractive too. The camera is also very good.
Transitioning was also seamless. Contacts synced right over from iPhone using android.com/switch

This is a great phone for its price. Whatever else others might be providing, I don't seem to need them. Battery life is pretty good.
One problem I had is that the charger makes a buzzing noise. Best Buy refused to replace the charger, wanted me to return the whole set. I had already spent too much time on the phone to return and start over with a replacement, so I am using an extra charger that I had from my older phone. This was a bit annoying, so 4 starts for the product, 2 stars on Best Buy.

Great value. Battery life is amazing. I easily get 24-36 hours with heavy use. Camera is pretty good. The phone has gotten glitchy a few times (couldn't hear or be heard on phone call, couldn't download attachment in an email) but a quick restart fixed it. Overall I'm very pleased with this budget friendly phone.
