I love the idea of a camera that does NOT have to be plugged into the wall. I can move it from room to room with ease. BIG down fall= I’ve exchanged this unit twice now within 1 month. First time was because the camera and monitor wouldn’t sync and the MFG suggested I take it apart and reset it... I will not tamper with an item that costs $150 .. Best Buy just swapped it out under their warranty when the MFG would not. The 2nd time the unit froze and shows static lines on the monitor. The picture quality could use work and both monitors constantly made a loud buzzing noise I could barley hear the baby move.

This camera works well as a set up at grandma & grandpa’s house. It’s easy to set up and the quality of the picture is good. I like being able to move the camera around as he moves around in the crib. The only problem is that it did not have a holder to attach to the crib and the universal one we ordered had to be rigged with zip ties to hold it in place. Otherwise it works very well and we have not had the battery issue that others referred to.

It’s a great camera. The quality is awesome. The parent unit is huge! But the only disappointment I have is the camera can’t be wall mounted, with our baby’s room layout wall mount is very important. I had to do some rigging to make it work. Otherwise this is a great camera just not wall mountable unless you rig something up.

This camera system works great. It's not perfect though. I wish there was a way to control the volume of the music playing through the camera into the room. I also get some screen glitches from time to time. I really like the fact that you can move the camera up/down and left/right. The night vision is pretty good as well.

The product works as described. The cameras ability to move up/down and left/right is awesome. The range of motion is so good, we never have a hard time finding our baby no matter how poorly we place the camera. The microphone is extremely sensitive and picks up all noise around it. This is a 720p camera, so don't expect HD video. Even at this resolution, you will have no trouble seeing what your child is up to. The display last about 5 hours on battery and the camera 3. We are very happy with this monitor.

Bought this so we could completely close the door to the bedroom that our 17 month grandson sleeps/naps in when at our house, and still be able to hear and see him. We've used it several times since the purchase and it's worked great. Good audio. I'm undecided on the large color monitor...the picture is good and the camera can be panned up, down, left & right so you can keep the little one in screen. However, the color benefit is minimal because when using it in a darkened room (and it's usually dark when you want them to nap or go down for the night) it's only black, white and gray. I really like the 5 inch screen.

It doesn’t have the best image quality but the sound and monitor work great all over the house. Zero issues of it dropping the signal. We had the Optix camera but the monitor and camera dropped signal anywhere in the house, even when we were just standing on the other side of the wall. As a new mommy, it was scary to have the Optix keep dropping. We have used the Motorola for over a month and have not one issue. I also purchased special blackout stickers to put over the bright lights and it helped immensely.

Super easy to setup and get running fast. Only issue is that you need to have the camera far away in order to get a full view of the crib or bed. Seems to be a bit zoomed in. But other than that it works great and the battery lasts a long time on the video monitor.

Great upgrade from our prior Motorola monitor. 5" screen offers much clearer view of crib and the monitor battery life has improved. Great improvement by Motorola on the adaptor port as well.

I purchased this for my son and daughter-law for Christmas. They had their baby the 1st week in January. My son is very tech savvy and had no trouble hooking the monitor with camera. I read several bad reviews and several good reviews. I decided to take out the 2 year Geek Squad protection just in case. So far, the are pleased with this set up.

Our (very) old monitor died on us so we went shopping for a new one. We did research and bought a different monitor. We were disappointed! We returned it and did more comparisons. We purchased the Motorola and we are very happy. The picture is great, the monitor lasts a long time on a single charge and we love the ability to move the camera remotely. We took this monitor camping and we were able to keep an eye on our baby from great distances. We did have to buy the "spider" connection in order to mount it at different places. That makes the monitor even more versatile! We highly recommend this monitor!

I needed to upgrade this camera for our daughter's room and its great! stand alone (not connected online) and safe!

Our current baby monitor took a dump and we needed a replacement ASAP. This unit was available for pickup at our local Best Buy and it clicked the boxes. Night mode, pan and tilt we’re what we needed to have and we have been happy with this unit so far. It hasn’t cut out or lost signal and the image quality is decent. Screen size is acceptable and not tiny by any means. Battery life is great, we use it for naps during the day and charge the unit at night.

This camera was easy to set up. Battery life is great.

Not entirely certain what to expect from a baby monitor - maybe I want too much. I wanted the quality of the picture and the stats like the Owlet and other fancy smart cams, though I also wanted to be able to control the picture to adjust the camera view if needed (zoom, tilt left/right/up/down). The price for this and the owlet were the same. The good - I can move it to other rooms (I did not mount) when I move baby to other rooms, so I can watch her wherever I need it to be. The bad - the picture is not very good. The zoom and camera angle adjustments do not work great unless it was mounted exactly like I would have he Owlet. It does not connect to my phones or wifi, it is on its own frequency (this could be good or bad, depending on want). Would I get it again? Probably not.

This monitor is amazing. The picture and sound quality is great. I love that it can play music and that is displays the temperature.

Great camera the quality is good screen is good size.

I would highly recommend this product. Purchased after having my little one. I have yet to have any issues with camera or monitor.
