We've been looking for a dual coffee maker for a couple years now. There are other brands that do make them but they are overpriced and the reviews on these are low.
We came across this coffee maker and it doesn't disappoint. We use the brew later functionality every weekday and if you feel like a cup then that is easy peasy too!

I love my Mr. Coffee coffee pot! My husband loves to make a pot of coffee, and I love the versatility of k cups... I love having a choice of which flavor coffee I'm going to have at any given moment. We don't have to have two different coffee pots cluttering up the counter.

Horrible machine. I do not recommend. Water leaks all over the bottom especially when making single cup. The machine stopped working in less than 3 months. It keeps saying Add Water when reservoir is full. Mr. Coffee has horrible customer service.

Mr. Coffee Combo Brewer
I’m pleased with this unit, and it’s certainly several steps above my previous coffee maker. It is replacing an old drip maker that had zero features—no timed brewing, no auto-off, regular glass carafe, etc. I’ve had other coffee makers, but they broke before that old basic one, so the previous basic one is the most recent comparison. To be honest, I’ve never before had a coffee maker on which the timer function was working, or the clock was accurate. So, yes, this machine is automatically several steps up. My basic review is: this has a lot of great features and I’m very happy with the machine. It has a few weaknesses, but it’s a great addition to my kitchen and I’m so very glad not to be using the ancient machine anymore. I like all kinds of coffee, and have a moka pot and enjoy a French press too, but I’m lazy in the morning, and drip coffee is easy. So, this unit will get a lot of use.
Things that are good:
--Thermal stainless-steel carafe. Keeps coffee hot for a long time, keeps me from scorching coffee, keeps us from burning down the house, and is relatively indestructible. The lid is plastic, so it could break, but I think the carafe would still function. Unfortunately, it would not keep the coffee anywhere near as hot if this happened, so it would seem smart to be careful with the lid.
--Removeable water reservoir. This is a nice feature—filling a pot and then pouring it into the reservoir always seems tedious. I have a faucet with a pull-down hose, and honestly, I just keep the coffee maker within reach and never even bother with removing the reservoir, but for most people I think this is a win.
--Timed brewing. This works really well; plenty of coffee pots that are fairly basic have this, but it’s a great combination here because the brewed coffee goes right into the thermal carafe, so even if I’m not downstairs immediately when it brews, it will stay hot but not cook itself to death until I come down. And, it’s really a good start to the morning when the coffee is ready for you when you arrive.
--No hot surfaces after brewing. I originally was not sure I’d like that the coffee does not have a hotplate. The carafe is the only way to keep the coffee hot; the machine brews and then it shuts off, and there is no mechanism that heats the pot. This means the system is very safe, and I can’t forget it or have to rely on an auto-shutoff. (I had a coffee pot where the auto-shutoff burned out long before the coffee maker did.) I spent a whole weekend trip wondering if I’d left the coffee pot on one time, and though I was pretty sure I didn’t (and I in fact had not), it’s good to know I can’t screw this one up. Also, the machine makes a little beep to tell you it’s done brewing, which is nice if you've wandered into your home office.
--Uniform brewing. By this, I mean that the machine measures the water for you when you set it to brew, so it should always use about the same amount, rather than that you’re eyeballing how much you’re putting in each time. The reservoir holds up to 10 cups of water, so you can just fill it to the max, and then, when you go to brew, you'll tell the machine how much you want to make and it will extract the right amount. (Choose from 8 oz-10oz-12oz for pod brewing or 4-6-8-10 cups for the carafe.) That means that once you figure out how you like your coffee from this machine, you’ll be able to duplicate it with a fair amount of regularity (though of course, every kind of coffee is a little different, especially if you grind your own). And, if you have a desire for a pod in the morning, and then one later, you can just fill the reservoir, and pop in your coffee, hit brew and not have to refill every time you do a single cup.
--Comes with a reusable filter pod, so you can fill with your own coffee rather only buy pods.
--Attractive design, good fit and small footprint for basically 2 machines. Might be too tall for some people’s counter space. It’s about 14.5” tall.
Things that are neutral:
--Water filtration. I like the idea of this, but I’m not sure how well I can count on filter packs to be a reasonable price. It seems like I should be able to get them for less than $2 each. They last a month, according to the manual. I have very hard water with lots of minerals in it; scaling can be a real problem. So, the filtration is a good idea, but I’m not sure this is cost efficient.
--Pod brewing. I don’t have a lot of experience with K-cups, outside of using them at a hotel or something like that. From what I have observed, I wouldn’t want to use anything more than the 8oz setting for a single pod. And to use the reusable pod, I need two good scoops of coffee and to really jam it in there. But, it’s really nice to just make 1 cup sometimes, and I like having the feature.
--“Brew Strong.” This seems to work, but I’m not sure how much difference it makes. I would recommend using it for pods. I would not say I love super strong coffee, but I like coffee that does in fact taste like coffee. The directions on the unit say use 9 tbs for an 8 cup pot. Definitely you need at least that amount of coffee. I would say that the brew strong does seem to work well if you make a whole pot, as well. I typically weigh my coffee rather than just scoop. With 80 grams of coffee, an 8 cup carafe is fine on regular, but 70 grams tastes pretty close to the same on the “brew strong.” So, maybe you can use a little less coffee this way. I find every coffee maker has a sweet spot, you just have to experiment. I think this one will work fine.
Things that are bad:
--12 oz setting for one pod. Just does not seem to make anything more than hot water to me.
All that said, the final judgment may come down to value. If you want the 2 in one feature, a thermal carafe, and the water reservoir, it’s a pretty good price point. If you catch it on a sale, I’d say it’s a good buy. If you are never going to use the pods, or if you only use them, you can probably get something that works better for pods or that has all the same features for the regular brewing at a slightly lower price point. For me, it’s a good fit.

The Mr Coffee Combo Brewer solves two problems with one brewer, and does it very well!
One of the best things about the combo brewer is it is surprisingly small! The footprint of this machine is smaller than the single cup machine I replaced. It also looks very modern and sleek, particularly with the heavy duty carafe that is included (see picture).
Set up and brewing are pretty straight-forward. The clock was easy to program, and the timer is just as easy. If you want a nice cup or pot of coffee waiting for you when you wake up it's very simple to do.
The filter holder has a clever adapter that the machine can sense, so it automatically knows what type (k-cup or pot) of coffee you want to make based on how you have it configured.
It has a few sizes to choose from for k-cups. One of my very favorite things about this brewer is the 12 oz size is actually 12 ounces (see picture). Even on the 'large' setting my old machine would only fill my cups about half-full. There is plenty of room for large sized 'travel mugs' to fit under the brewer when making a k-cup, so no more 'brewing in a cup then pouring into my travel cup!'
The nice looking metal carafe that's included completely takes the place of the old heating elements that used to be standard on drip style coffee makers. When testing this I brewed a full pot of coffee, then checked the temperature with a food thermometer every hour. Even after four hours the coffee had only lost a couple of degrees, so if you're an all-day coffee drinker this is fantastic! There is also the bonus of your coffee not tasting 'burnt' after sitting on a burner all day. Four hours later the coffee still tastes almost as fresh as when it was first brewed.
There are only one or two mildly inconvenient things about the coffee maker. The water reservoir is in the very back, so it can be tricky to get to depending on where you have the coffee maker sitting. It holds a lot of water, though, so you shouldn't have to fill it any more than an average machine--maybe less, depending. My old single cup brewer's reservoir held roughly three cups of coffee, so this is definitely an upgrade.
There has been a time or two that the coffee maker has turned out a 'slow trickle' rather than a full cup, but that appears to be due to not having everything aligned just right.
The only other issue I've seen is storage of items you're not using can be a little tricky. The carafe is large, and has to be removed when you're using the single cup function. There is also a really cool and convenient 'single cup' filter that can allow you to use that function with regular coffee. It's a rather small filter so we've had to be really careful with where we place it. Not a huge deal, but our house can be chaotic sometimes and things get lost pretty easily. I can see having to replace that a time or two.
Overall if you're in the market for a dual function coffee maker I wholeheartedly recommend this model! The size is great, the coffee tastes great, and the price is much lower than most dual models out there!

Good Coffee Maker, But A Bit Cumbersome

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I should say upfront that I received the Mr. Coffee Pod + 10 Cup Combo Brewer for purposes of providing an honest, unbiased review. I have been using the Mr. Coffee Pod + 10 Cup Combo Brewer for a few days now. My wife drinks more coffee than I do, so I asked her to help me out with this review. After brewing carafes and pods, our home smells like a coffee house. And while both my wife and I have liked the coffee from this machine, using the device has been a bit awkward.
First the positives, I love the clock feature. The ability to set a timer to brew a carafe in the morning is a great touch. This is also one of the quietest coffee makers we have had. It's quicker than other brewers I have used. Because so much of this brewer is modular, it is easy to take things apart and rinse them off.
As previously stated, the coffee we brewed has tasted good. The strong brew feature works well. The brewer also comes with a small reusable pod that you can fill with ground coffee to brew a single cup from the pod holder.
But while I liked how modular things were, it also makes simply brewing a k-cup a bit of a hassle. Instead of just flipping a lid and dropping in a pod, you have to pull out the brew basket, make sure the pod holder is inside the brew basket, open the pod holder, put the k-cup into the pod holder, snap close the pod holder, and then slide the basket with pod holder back into the front of the brewer. Then, once you have made your cup of coffee, you have to release the basket with pod holder (and hot water) out of the brewer, set the basket onto something you don't mind dripping a bit of coffee on, as you then unsnap and open the pod holder to retrieve your pod. You might get a bit wet. Simple, this ain't.
It all works, but it just feels like it could work better. The water tank is on the back of the brewer. A 10 cup carafe will empty the water entirely from the tank. To refill the tank, you have to slide forward the brewer so you can access the back of the tank. So, if you don't want to slide the brewer out constantly to refill, you need to make sure the brewer is positioned so that you have easier access to the back of the tank. This can take up more counter space than you would think based on the "space saving design."
Cleaning and maintenance are a mixed bag. The brew basket, pod holder, and reusable single serve coffee filter can be washed in the dishwasher; top rack only. The carafe, carafe lid, and removable water reservoir are hand wash only. But the carafe has a narrow opening. To properly clean it out, you will need some type of brush or sponge with a handle. Mr. Coffee recommends decalcifying the coffee maker regularly with white household vinegar. The brewer comes with a filter system and the filters need to be replaced every 30 days. The filters seem to be proprietary and I couldn't find any at Best Buy at the time of writing this review.
So, I find myself with mixed opinions on this brewer. It works and it does a good job brewing a cup or a carafe of coffee. But it's a bit of a mess to use and to clean. It's not simple. It works, I just can't help but thinking it should work more efficiently.
So, if you read all of this and don't mind some of these design decisions, then I recommend the brewer. I can't speak to longevity of the device, but for the week I have had it, it's worked well.

A very inventive idea and very close to perfection

It's by far the most inventive arrangement I've seen in awhile, bringing K-cups to co-habitate with a regular automatic drip coffee maker. The ability to do both makes me so happy, and it is sized right for the busy counters in our kitchen. This has a clock and timer, so you can set it to go on at a certain time. That is really helpful for me, so I can smell coffee and get moving. Great feature and will be used daily.
This even has an included K-cup thing to put ground coffee into, to brew fresh coffee in a K-cup sized cup vs. a pot. And great feature #2, it knows if you are using a K-Cup or not, so it shows ounces vs. cups. Put in a K-cup and it says ounces as you are used to with K-cup brewers, or if you use ground coffee it says cups. Very smart.
If you like #1 and 2 above, you'll love feature #3, which is the thermal carafe. Brilliant! Keeps coffee hot and fresh for hours. Love this and it really rounds out the package. There is no heated burner to worry about leaving on or getting warped/rusted, so this is really thoughtful!
So why not 5 stars? I don't like the fact that you alot of dripping when removing the basket, to remove the K-cup, and the dripping occurs onto the clock/timer, as well as the counters. For me, no issue, I simply use a paper towel under it, throw out the K-cup, and then return it to the inserted position until it is ready for next use. By then the drips of coffee have dried up, so they aren't dripping all over. My grown kids however, aren't as neat, and coffee drips were all over the counter and the clock/timer/buttons. While likely water resistant, I still have concerns about that. And honestly, the unit is not solid like a K-cup brewer, and I fear less than careful hands (like my grown kids) will not be careful and break it - the tower arm that comes over where the basket goes sort of has to be held while you slip the basket into place - if not, it slides around and feels like it isn't very solid.
Anyway, you can decide if you can live with this or not. It'll work for me, as long as the kids are careful and I'm sure it'll be constant reminders. But it is a great solution to me wanting to brew real coffee some days and K-cups on other days. The thermal carafe is a real big plus and worthy of consideration when you couple this with the fact the same machine does K-cups.

Finally, a Coffee maker that can brew a pot of coffee as well as brew a cup from a pod. My wife is in love with this coffee maker because we just freed up a fair amount of counterspace. Even though this coffee maker is slimmer in size it has all the same features and brews just as good a cup of coffee as the Mr. Coffee maker it was replacing. We also think this brews pods as good if not better than the other pod brewers that it is replacing. The strong brew selector and the Select-a-Cup feature both worked like just like our older Mr. Coffee maker so we didn’t lose anything in this upgrade. The water reservoir can be filled by removing the lid and pouring water in to fill it or you can remove the entire reservoir and fill it at the sink and then mount it back in the coffee maker – both are easy and convenient to do. One nice feature about the water reservoir is that it comes with a replaceable water filter. I have a love hate relationship with the carafe. It definitely keeps the coffee warm for a long time but because of its shape and lid opening it can be difficult at times to manage. To pour coffee you need to push a button near the handle to open the pour spout but because the carafe is so rounded you have to raise the carafe higher than a normal pitcher to get the coffee to pour. When the carafe is full it can be heavy and when its near empty you really have to angle it to get the last cup out. All considering we are very happy with this coffee maker.
Pros:
- Doesn’t take up a lot of space on the counter and replaces two larger units!
- Brews up to 10 cups of coffee with an easy to fill reservoir
- Brews pods as good if not better than the original
- Because of the way the pod holder mounts in the coffee maker it is very easy to clean
- Built in water filter which is easy to access and easy to replace
- Carafe keeps the coffee hot for a long time, no coffee maker left on all day
- Easy to select number of cups you want to brew up to 10
Cons:
- The carafe can be heavy when full and because it is solid its not possible to see how much coffee is in the pot.
- The carafe has a small lid opening so its difficult to clean
- The lid on the carafe is button operated and it’s a slow pour.

Space saver Pot/K-Pod Combo Brewer

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
>> Overview
The Mr. Coffee Pod + 10 cup combo brewer allows brewing K-cups and traditional ground coffee, a 2-in-1 device, that is both useful and space saver. It has a convenient stylish thermal carafe that keeps coffee as hot as just brewed for a couple of hours, and at acceptable temperature levels throughout the day. It comes with a water filter system to help in delivering a good tasting coffee.
- Pros: space saver, carafe keeps your coffee hot/warm, spill-proof spout.
- Cons: low water sensor lacking, only 10 cups.
>> Before first brew
The most important thing to do before your first brew is to clean with a little bit of soap, the carafe, the water reservoir, and the k-cup holder, and next do a 10-cup brew without any coffee once. The device comes with a strong plastic and/or other material odor, so you really need to wash and rinse the different part as explained in the quick start manual that comes with the Mr. Coffee device. Doing this allowed me to have a pleasantly tasty cup of coffee on my first brew.
>> Brewing
For traditional coffee brewing, it starts pouring coffee almost immediately after start, and in about 6 minutes you are ready to enjoy a 10-cup carafe full of coffee. Pay attention to the water level because there is no indication if there is not enough water to complete the cycle, the only signal is a beep when the cycle is done.
K-cup brewing is just as easy as any regular K-cup machine, just place the pod inside, select the cup size and brew. This coffee brewer comes with a reusable single server cup filter that can be used with coffee grounds, like a regular K-cup, which is very neat.
Some highlights:
- Strong brew: just what I wanted, the possibility to extract as much as possible from my precious coffee beans. Selecting this option causes a longer brewing time.
- Brew later: make sure you have enough water, place the ground coffee or k-cup, select the size and whether strong or not, and just set the time when you want to start the brewing. Useful for getting fresh coffee for next day.
- Coffee taste: so far, I like the result, the coffee comes out tasty, and much better than my older coffee brewer, so it is a well-deserved replacement.
>> Thermal carafe
One of the deciding factors to get this brewer was the advertised thermal carafe. It keeps coffee hot for the first few hours after brewing, I’d say 3+ hours, before it starts feeling just warm. After several hours, around 8+ hours, it is still warm and still feels drinkable. If you really like your coffee hot, then do not expect this carafe to maintain that temperature for the whole day or for several hours. If you have guests, then the 3+ time frame should be enough time to empty one carafe.
I should say that for most people the thermal carafe will work. It even works for me, I can prepare coffee early morning and stay the whole day drinking coffee, although the last couple of cups won't be as hot as I would want them to be. I even prepared a whole 10-cup pot soon before going to bed (yes I have coffee before going to bed) and next day, after about 7 hours, the coffee would be still warm and drinkable.
One additional thing that I like about this carafe is that now I can breathe with relief for not spilling coffee or have coffee dripping on the side of the pot after serving, the carafe’s spout and the way liquid is poured from it doesn’t lead to that annoying experience. This is another reason to welcome this device to the family.
>> Replacement for K-cup brewer?
If you already have a K-cup brewer I am not sure the Mr. Coffee combo brewer can be a replacement for it. If you do not have one, then this is perfect for you! It’ll save money and space.
I have a K-cup slim coffee maker, so I decided to compare it against the Mr. Coffee combo brewer. I decided to make 12oz of a dark roast K-cup coffee in both. Soon after brew, there were two differences, the coffee brewed by K-cup coffee maker was hotter and it had more foam than the one brewed with the Mr. Coffee combo brewer. Initially, I enjoyed better the flavor of the K-cup coffee maker, but after some time, I could not tell the difference between flavors. I’d venture to say that the Mr. Coffee combo brewer can be used just fine for brewing K-cups; however, first impressions matter, so for this reason, I don't see this as a substitute to the Keurig, if you already have one, but as a complement when needed.
>> Other notes
- Capacity: be aware that the Mr. Coffee brewer max capacity is 10 cups. A few times in the past, even my old 12-cup brewer was not enough to server coffee to all acquaintances that would visit, now that I am replacing it with the Mr. Coffee, I might need to brew a couple of times more than with my previous brewer. For regular personal/family use, I would think this suffices.
- Water filter: it is recommended to be changed every month. I’d assume that is the case if you use it every day. Since I have a water filter system, I plan on using water already filtered to keep the Mr. Coffee filter to last a few more months.
- No low water sensor: a couple of times I forgot to add water, then started brewing and left the kitchen, when returning to the kitchen I’d learn that nothing was brewed. As a result, keep an eye on the water level at all brewing times.

This brewer is well worth the asking price of $100. USD. It's a little giant. Perfect for office and home use, yet small enough to fit in any dorm room. It comes with a beautful metal caraf( something I will always recommend over glass any day.) It's just something about having hours of perfectly heated coffee right at hand's reach, because the metal caraf keeps the coffee hot seemingly forever. Along with metal caraf, you are blessed with a K-Cup adapter that you can use to brew your own growned coffee or remove it to pop in your K-Cup flavor of choice. It makes it really convenient to brew 1 to 10 cups depending on your mood. As far as the K-Cup, you get to choose from 6 oz or more.
It can spoil you a little bit. Not to mention, the pause feature. Yes, you can get yourself a cup , even if it's in mid-cycle, with that little switch on back of the pot. I do love that. The crazy thing is how small it is, yet it still does the job of my older, larger and more expensive brewer. I I will, however, miss the abilty to just set my auto brew once. Now I'll have to set the time every evening, before I want coffee. Plus my previous brewer came with reusable filters, right outof the box. Where as , with this one, I had to go pick up a new reusable filter before my first use.(The little things. Am I right?) Other than that, I can't think of a single, good reason to not have this in your cart. It's great for yourself and as gift( to yourself, if you want.)

Coffee Pods and Grounded Coffee

--- Installation---
The installation of the Mr. Coffee Pod was quick and simple. Everything came neat and organized in the box with clear labels on what to remove and what to set up. There is a one pager that explains set up for quick use, but a more detailed booklet if you want the nitty gritty.
--- FEATURES ---
This Mr. Coffee machine is small to save countertop space, can be programmed to brew at a specific time (later), has an option for strong brew, advanced water filtration, and a reusable single cup coffee filter. Best of all, it accepts K-Cup pods and regular grounded coffee. It’s a two-in-one machine!
--- PERFORMANCE ---
The performance of this coffee machine was great. I prefer making my coffee with grounded beans while my wife loves the convenience of K-Cups. The K-Cup option is by far the simplest way to make coffee in this brewer. Simple pull out the handle and insert a K-Cup of your choice in the pod slot.
Whenever you want to use ground coffee you have two options. Option one is to use the included reusable K-Cup-like coffee filter. The second option is to use disposable filters to make a carafe similar to how we used to make coffee before K-Cups were a thing. This is a great option for when you have a family of coffee lovers or when friends visit you and you need to make more than a single serving quickly. Either option worked well and provided consistent coffee flavor.
--- EXPECTATIONS ---
The product meets my expectations but I do wish that a measuring spoon was included for the single cup coffee filter. Since there is no included measurement spoon, you have to use what you have. I found the process a bit messy as the filter doesn’t indicate how full you need to fill it. Otherwise, the coffee machine is perfect for the convenience of being able to use coffee pods or grounded beans. The carafe does keep your coffee hot for several hours and the brew later option can save you time and it starts to brew your drink automatically while you get ready in the mornings.
--- VALUE ---
The price for Mr. Coffee POD combo is great because it is almost like buying two machines in one.
--- APPROVAL ---
I highly recommend this product for families who have members with different preferences on how they consume their coffee, pods vs. grounded beans. The carafe also makes it ideal for heavy coffee drinkers or for a family of coffee consumers.

I am loving this coffee maker! Its so easy to make coffee so many ways and sizes!
I love the fact that you can either make several cups of coffee using the included carafe, or you can make individual ones using either the pods holder or the included single serves re-usable filter.
The pod holder, well, holds any popular coffee pods sold out there. If you run out or just do not want to pay for those, they include a single serve reusable metal filter, almost the size of those commercial pods, where you can just put your own coffee grounds, this is the one I have been using the most.
If you wish to make several cups to have ready, you can use the carafe, which will hold several cups and keep the coffee hot. For this, you will use the paper filter holder for your coffee grounds.
You can either brew now or you can program it to brew later, using the clock. And for this programmable mode, is not just the carafe, you can also program the single serve modes for a later brew, in example, you want your coffee ready in the morning when you wake up!
The system also includes a small water filter pod, that would filter some of that nasty chlorine flavor in our tap water. They only include one, so make sure to get some more (you can get them cheap online).
Assembly was easy, and although most of the parts had a strong plastic odor, after a wash they were gone, so I will highly recommend you do wash most of the parts (its recommended in the instructions) and there is also a “1st time" brew function, that will kind of rinse the system the first time to get rid of any nasty out of the box flavors and odors.
In short, I highly recommend this coffee system for anyone looking to make quick, easy and flavorful coffee!!

Great product right off the bat! Easy to use, takes up little space width wise (it is about 15 in. tall), dual purposed (k-cup/drip), has multiple functions, and etc. I have tested the drip coffee, k-cup coffee, and pre-packed k-cup filter (included w/purchase, single serve and the likes--all function well. The insulated thermos carafe is a must have for those of us that drink coffer away from kitchen, or wherever the coffee make is stored, in order to keep coffee hot for hours. I had a "top of the line" Bonavita coffee make and this beats it all day long. And for a fraction of the price. Feel free to ask questions...

Less than 1 year ago I bought a specific coffee maker model, Mr Coffee brand, specifically for its ability to brew either 1 cup or a 10-cup carafe. A few months after purchase it suddenly started leaking water randomly from the bottom first about once every 4 to 6 weeks, until a week ago when it started to slowly leaking water daily.
Since it was still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, I called Mr Coffee hoping to be able to repair this malfunction. To my surprise, the agent I spoke with told me that they could not repair or replace this coffee maker since this model was discontinued, so the only option available was that Mr Coffee would return the value I paid for it.
Then I question that on Mr. Coffee Maker’s website still sells this model in different retailers, he kept replying that this model was discontinued. I happened to go to the retailer and guess what, they are selling this model normally.
Buyers should be warned that if they purchase this model, the WARRANTY WILL NOT WORK for them as this model is discontinued AND NOT AVAILABLE for warranty purposes, but at the same time it is available for sale purposes.
I don’t trust Mr Coffee warranty practice.

This is a very sleek coffee pot that fit nicely on my limited counter space. I liked the clear water resevoir on the back. It was easy enough to reach for filling. I did not like the way the little pod worked. I drink 2 large cups most days and thought that the pod would work well for those days when I want to delay the second cup. However the size of the pod was lim
iting to only 6-8 oz cup depending on strength of coffee.
Besides all this, the coffee tasted like "Mr. Coffee" coffee. I haven't ever liked coffee from these machines. I had reservations before purchasing and I should have listened to my gut. I cleaned it up really well and returned it. I guess if you drink small cups, it will work well for you. It did not come with any paper filters so I had to delay trying it out for a few days till I was able to get to the store. Seems like a cheap way to save money. I would have returned it at least 4 days earlier if there had been paper filters.

Excellent coffee maker! I like the fact that it doesn't have a hot plate. The carafe is a thermos and keeps the coffee hot for over an hour. It makes good coffee with the pod feature too. I would recommend it to a friend

This coffee maker works very well. It did a better job making strong coffee than my more expensive Kuerig. It's easy to clean, has a large water reservoir and fits long insulated mugs.

I love the space saving design combined with its versatility. Quick and quiet. I also like the thermal carafe as opposed to the heat plate combined with a glass carafe. I recommend.

Followed instructions to get coffee maker up and running. When I tried to run plain water through machine as instructed. I kept getting an "add water" message. However, the reservoir was full of water. Trouble shooting instructions did not discuss the problem. We looked on you tube and found many people had the same problem. We finally resolved the problem and machine now works fine.
