Great computer for the money. Bought this for my son that is in college and it runs all the programs that he needs for his classes and also allows him to play most of the games that he enjoys playing in his spare time.

This is the first real gaming laptop that Ive gotten, and 4 months later, still no regrets. Its able to run most games at ultra settings and works great with my oculus rift s. Only negative I can think of is that because of the aluminum frame it can get pretty hot but as long as you have a cooling pad its alright.

I would give this 5 stars if the SSD was 1 terabyte. I bought this on sale for $1099. Writing this , the price is $1499. To me , the price I paid was a good . At $1499, I think it should at least have the bigger SSD. With that being said , it's fast and exceeds my expectations with performance.

This is an excellent laptop to game on and also for your general use too. The thermals are very good, I played games on it and I did not see any noticeable drops in performance. The middle part of the keyboard does get warm after gaming for prolonged gaming. I also had an issues where I could not play any online games when connected to a 5Ghz internet connection, although everything else from downloading files, surfing the internet and streaming music and movies worked perfectly fine. I could game on the 2.4Ghz and on ethernet cable perfectly, but because my router and modem is in a different room, I did not have a good experience for the 2.4Ghz. Other than this one issues, I absolutely loved this laptop because of the keyboard, the amazing display, cooling performance and decent battery life.

Hello Readers, I purchased this laptop for games like LOL, WOW, Tekkit Minecraft Mod-packs, and some lighter games. After owning this laptop for 10 months it overheats even when using MSI CoolerBooster (which btw, sounds like a plane taking off). The Arrow Right key is broken, the keys are kept on with tiny little clips and it broke when I placed it back on the keyboard. The MSI Sound Tune Technology is terrible It will sound great for a bit, but now my right speaker is distorted and the left is completely non functional. I spent way to much on this laptop to have these issues 10 months in? This laptop was a regretful buy and defiantly could use some work. I'm sending it in for a RMA currently and hoping to get it back quickly which is almost never the case, I will update you as I go along the process.

After a couple years with it, it still runs top tier games at almost always high settings. it records and streams for me very well. for my first laptop for gaming, for sure a good purchase. looking to upgrade soon.

Bought this laptop for my fiance in med school. Thing is a little powerhouse. The battery last about 6 hours under normal usage. That 2060 really helps when using graphically intensive programs. Picked it up for $1000 on sale which I think is a great price during this GPU shortage.

Runs Apex/Overwatch/Jedi: Fallen Order at 120+ fps and smooth as silk. Great quality screen. Fans run a little bit hot obviously, but being able to turn on the extra fans to vent really helps with it. Zero problems with screen sharing and bluetooth pairing. 10/10 would buy again.

Bought this as surprise birthday gift for my kid, He is so happy after having this perfect gaming machine. Now he can play most of the games at higher resolution. He already had PS4 but gaming machine is another level.

My son wanted to buy a new laptop for school but he also likes to play Minecraft on the computer. We looked into this laptop’s capabilities. When compared to others on-line, this one had great reviews for laptop use and for gaming. It wasn’t on display at any of the nearby Best Buy stores near us which made me a little hesitant to purchase without seeing it first. But, I took a chance and was not disappointed! The graphics for gaming are amazing! The picture is very clear and the colors are bright and crisp. This laptop has fans on each side allowing a quicker cooling system. The price is fair when compared to similar laptops but the quality is worth the price. My son loves this laptop and recommends it to anybody who wants a laptop that does a little bit of everything without having to pay to high of a price for the quality. Best Buy’s shipping is perfect! Items usually come sooner than expected.

My review might be biased seeing that I’m switching from a 2012 MacBook Pro to this. The difference is obviously day and night. Games I’ve been playing for years feels like I’m playing for the first time on this device solely due to how amazing the graphics are on every game. At times, the sound in game will become distorted and tinny which will also make the same sound to viewers while streaming. The device has corrected itself each time and the sound issue somehow fixes itself in time while playing. Also not sure why everyone was complaining about how quiet this is. When I turned it on I was scared out of my mind when the voice assistant began screaming at me. And that was only on volume 35 out of 100...The packaging is also amazing it comes with a super nice box and a nifty little microfiber cloth! Despite the minor annoyance of the in game sound issues, this laptop is 100% worth the money.

Really excellent performance, other reviews have already talked about the fans so I won't bring it up here. Had some time consuming updates since it shipped with windows 1909 build and had to update it to 20h2 but very happy to be able to play all my games

Overall happy with my purchase, Laptop is very solid with latest games and fast performance. I only gave this 4 stars because of a scraped paint on the lower right hand corner underneath it. Otherwise I'd give it a 5 star review.

Had it for a month so far, no problems. The fan does need to be turned on for gaming on high settings as it will get hot, and the fan is a bit noisy but no problem as I use a headset and cant hear it anyways. Great price

The laptop was presented with great packaging. The display looks great, it took me a while to find the steelseries software for the keyboard lights. One downside is how loud the fans are, after a while you get used to it so not a big deal.

Great computer does everything I wanted to do but, playing games it will get loud but day to day use rarely does it ever get loud.

Had the computer for about a year and i love it. I use it for gaming and just daily use. The only issue im having is staying connected to wifi but that’s probably something i did on the computer

Love the performance this laptop gives, I have two complains though, first, so so battery life. Second, loud as hell doing games and productive work. Is like a jet engine. But got it on sale for 1099 what can I say.
