Preloaded software will give you a few headaches and almost made me return it. Resinstalled Msi center resolved it…coming from the razer 16 with 4080 the fans on silent still have slight audible output but its a pleasant whoosh sound. The display actually was better than I expected nothing near oled but bright and colorful. Keyboard looks different than competing brands but Msi nailed it as its very comfortable with perfect travel for me! Mouse was very responsive just below razers glass panel. The performance is mindblowing. Stock cinebench was 30120 and with slight undervolt max is 33980 and average of 32100 very impressive as i was worried coming from 14900hx to the 13950hx but it feels just as snappy if not more tuned maybe the silicon lottery. Running warzone now 240 fps on extreme and 260 on ultra which my preference on my ultra wide monitor. 5120x1660 I believe. Playing on laptop while plugged in no external screen these numbers will be much higher. My 4080 capped at 215 on balanced. (Using amd fsr 3.0 as dlss only netted 165 on the 4090 and 140 ish on 4080). Davinci resolve 19 is smooth and fast and editing in lightroom has imrpoved slightly as well. Overall very pleased and after trying G18, razer 16, legion 16 and alienware m16 the MSI has won my heart!!! Oh its heavy but for what’s inside I’ll gladly carry if need be!
