myGEKOgear - Orbit 960 Dash Cam - Black This 4K dash cam offers a GREAT picture quality at day or night time. You can see in very detail such as Lic. Plate on vehicles or street signs even at night time. It also includes the additional safety features that you only find in premium cars. The only thing I dislike is that every-time I turn the car it it lose the time date and time. I have to reset it over again

Bought this a year ago for my semi truck and have mixed feelings. First off, the quality of the video is top notch an I am very pleased! I have had to go back and review some instances where I needed to confirm footage or get license plates of careless/drunk drivers and am very happy with the clarity. The suction cup works excellent, as does the included sticky mount. Unfortunately, that's where my praise ends. The interface on the camera itself is okay, but trying to save videos can be downright frustrating. If you use a laptop you can pull the footage straight from the card, but if you need to download the video to your phone over the wifi network you might as well forget about it. The app is just about useless, you must wait for extended periods of time to download it over the wifi network generated by the camera and even then locating the video is impossible. The best way I've found to save the video to your phone is to just download a 3rd party screen recorder and have it record your screen while you watch the video. Normally I would recommend just using your laptop but not everyone has access to it over the road, or in the event of an accident were you may have only your phone to download the video to for evidence. Also, you cannot change the speed displayed on the video from KmpH to MPH, I've restarted multiple times and changed the settings even more and it still only displays KmPH. Great product, great video recording, horrible software.

It was pretty easy to setup, power cord plenty long to go around to the power source. Has some nice options. I am a lttle confused about the internet, on what part it plays. My car has wifi, but i see no way that it connects to it. Another thing i was hoping for, was that i would be able to connect to my phone. I do like the size which doesn't crowd the windshield.

This dash cam works perfectly. The playback is clear with no defects. Easily works with the app which provides video sharing. I am pleased with the operation.

Absolute worst product performance of any dashcam ever built in the history of the world. 1. The manual that came with this thing is useless: "14. WiFi: OFF/ON Open Wi-Fi Function." That's it! No initial password, or mention of the required app! The tiny piece of paper loosely identified as an instruction sheet is annotated with one-line encrypted description of the dashcam button function. It's left to the user to decrypt what the manufacturer guidance is trying to relate to the user! No contact number provided. The single e-mail address at [email protected] never returned e-mail inquiries. The app is useless because the smartphone cannot connect to the dashcam. The WiFi constantly reports "no internet connection!" The item "15. ADAS: FCWS/LDWS ..." never worked and were forced to turn off. The manufacturer never tested these features in actual operation! The videos appear washout in bright sunlight and at night it's hard to see license plate in front even at 4K settings. Maybe there's a setting to fix the WiFi, app, video but the instruction sheet is so poorly written that I can't find the fix.

Missing 16GB micro sd card and wifi connection disconnects from my iphone randomly

Orbit 960 is a dash cam probably the easiest one I have ever used. Simple to setup and the onscreen images next to each of the physical side buttons is an unexpected and welcomed help. Easy WiFi connection to access the video download and sharing. GPS logging to record the location and view the routing thru the google map, excellence! The video quality during the day and night time is great! Not only to see the license plate super clear in front of camera but also can see really detail of every spot on whole video.

Its ok they need to make a better version of this one
