Don't be confused this isn't your main entry atelier game, but if you miss the characters and interested in a new take on a NIS Exclusive Series, here's a next step in your favorite characters. This is a city building game that takes your favorite characters and gives them jobs, growth opportunities as you take over as a sort of mayor for developing the land and with the small amount of action this is sure to make any die hard fan happy.

Unlike all the other Atelier games, this one is no traditional Japanese role-playing game. It's essentially an Atelier All-Star game wrapped up in a resource and time management simulation, kind of. While I wouldn't recommend it to hardcore JRPG aficionados, the fact that every character from all the previous games in the series make a cameo makes it too hard to resist for an old RPG nerd like me. Recommended.

Still a really good game, just has a spin with its city management system. Doesnt ruin the game and makes it it's own in the series.

This is an interesting take on the Atelier series. They implemented a town building aspect to this game, which is a nice change of pace.

A love song to Atelier games. It's more of a town building game than an alchemy game. I'd suggest playing a few games in the series so you know the characters that appear.

I knew this wouldn't be a typical game in the series. I was SO excited to play this-I'm always looking for town simulators and games with relationship building. I bought it the day it came out even. IT IS HORRIBLE. When you go explore to collect items the characters automatically move in a linear 2D line and you pick when they stop to pick up an item and that's it!! The town building is limited and shallow. You are on a rotation of building and gathering and neither are fun. It's like a mobile game for your ps4. I managed to weasel my way into getting my money back luckily. I LOVE JRPGS and games that meet the description of this game; I wanted to like this game believe me and I held out for it to get better. Don't support this game and how koei tecmo is cheapening the series.
