Can't Live Without It!

At first I was a little skeptical on whether I would use a product like this, thinking now "they" are going to know what I do but let's be honest, they're listening anyway.
I love it! It's easy to set up and turns out I added so many other devices like my TV, robot vacuum, lights, locks that I will never go without it. It's so convenient when you're thinking of something to add to say your shopping list but your phone or notepad is not nearby so you just tell Google to add it. And my favorite command is Hey Google find my phone, lol.
And the sound quality when playing music is superb. I would even say as good as my wireless Bose speaker. I also purchased 2 Google minis for other rooms. Pricey but worth it. I do wish it wasn't so big, maybe a cylinder size would look more pleasing.
Overall great purchase and get the extended warranty. I purchased one and a few weeks later, it didn't work so Best Buy exchanged and my warranty is still active.

Love this speaker. Sound is amazing, beautiful minimal design. It gets pretty loud and will surprise you with the clarity and pure volume. Price point can't be beat. The only drawback is that if you want to pair to your TV, it takes some tinkering. Aside from that, I cannot think of any complaints. Great job Google.

The sound quality on these are really good, especially compared to the minis we're switching from. The setup was simple and smooth, thankfully. Make Sure you use wall anchors or drill into studs; these sucker are weighty!

Good Sound, but Google needs programming help

I bought a pair. They have great sound...but Google isn't great with programming. For instance, last night, they wouldn't stop playing music. "Hey Google, stop music." response..."sure, stopping music on Nest Pair." Music doesn't stop...from voice commands, from Google Home app, from speakers. Had to ask someone with an Apple phone to shut it down. Google, why are you so bad at this?

This smart speaker has been a great addition to my home. The sound quality is clear with good bass for its size, and it easily fills the room. Setup was quick, and it connects smoothly with my other devices. I really like the voice assistant feature—it makes playing music, setting reminders, and checking the weather super convenient. Overall, it’s reliable, stylish, and worth the purchase.

I have several original google homes in my house and saw these on sale for $60.00....I ended up buying 3 of them to replace my original google homes and couldn't be happier. Although these are called Google (NEST) audio, these are basically google homes on steroids, they are not just speakers....anything the google home can do this can do as well or better. The sound quality is far superior to the google homes, google mini and google hubs. another great feature is the command execution is almost instantaneous! when you give it a command it responds and does the command very quicky. If I ask it to turn on my lights, with in a second the lights are on very quick! another pro to the google audio is its looks....it just fits in very well with any decor. And finally, it gets pretty loud versus the other google home products. If you have an original google home, or mini this google audio is worth buying and replacing the originals with especially if you play music on your google homes!
Pros: looks good, sounds really good, is loud and has a very quick command execution.
Cons: none found as of yet.

he Google Nest Audio delivers rich sound, seamless smart home integration, and a sleek, eco-friendly design. Powered by Google Assistant, it handles music, voice commands, and smart device control with ease.
Pros: Great sound, minimalist design, eco-friendly.
Cons: Wi-Fi required.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Compact, smart, and affordable!

This speaker has pretty good sound for a non-stereo speaker. It connects easily with other Google speakers allowing synchronized music throughout the house. As expected has Google Assistant built in. It looks nice and is more substantial than what you would think by looking at it. Has touch controls on the top and volume display on the front.

Super easy setup. Clean enough sound. Never disconnects from Network like some other options. Sound quality is decent for the size and the price I got it for ( 49!). If you use google home, its a must have piece. Put one near the shower!

We purchased 2 of these to add to our Google Home Network. We have these in our living room. You can pair them together as stereo speakers however we have ours placed in two different locations.
Pros:
- Sleek appearance
- Solid feel
- Easy to use controls
- Nice sound
Cons:
- Had to exchange one that kept dropping from Wifi network even after factory reset.
We mainly use them for full house music listening but, also utilize the mics for Home commands!
You can turn the mic on or off on the devices as well as pause the music or increase/decrease the volumes all on the device which is nice.
They pair rather effortlessly with the intuitive setup process in the Home app but it could be a little more streamlined.
We had to exchange one as it kept dropping from the wifi network. Thankfully this happened during the extended holiday return period!
These aren't a must have but if you enjoy music and use voice commands a lot for your Google Home network it is a great addition!

Efficiency and Comfort for a Modern Home

I purchased Google Home for my daughter, and it has quickly become an indispensable tool in our home. She has configured it to handle scheduled tasks, such as turning lights on, dimming them, or switching them off at specific times. The ability to pause Wi-Fi on select devices has been particularly useful, offering a simple way to manage screen time and maintain focus during important hours.
Voice commands are another standout feature. They allow her to stack routines effortlessly—for example, a single command can adjust lighting, play music, and provide reminders. This functionality adds a sense of consistency and convenience, making daily routines more predictable and less hands-on.
Google Home integrates seamlessly with other smart devices, is easy to set up, and offers extensive customization options. It adapts to preferences, delivering a personalized experience that supports productivity and comfort. For households looking to streamline their tech and enhance efficiency, Google Home is an excellent investment.

I bought two. Initially I purchased the Nest Mini. Great sound in itself for the size. With the mini I purchased two C by GE smart lights. I put one in corner that is out of the way. The light paired easily after downloading Google Home app and the C by GE app. I have since moved those two items to my bedroom.
The two Nest Audio are now in the living room. I previously transferred my music library to my phone, about 6000 songs. I downloaded the Hi-cast app. After pairing the two Nest Audios it is easy to send the music from my phone to these two speakers, perfect stereo sound.
Of course, you can still ask about the weather, or just about anything I imagine. Though I haven't yet figured out out to change from metrics to feet. Such as asking how tall is Mount Everest. The answer was provided in meters.

We use it as a bathroom speaker for playing music/audio books in the shower as well as taking commands. It works great even with the water running. Good audio quality and it gets very loud. Small enough to disappear on a small shelf but good audio.

A step up from the original Google Home...

As an upgrade to the original Google Home, this is a winner, with a lower list price to boot. It looks like, well, a speaker (how's that for a curve ball from Google?) It's still the same minimalist interface as the home -- lights in front and touch sensitive area on the top for adjusting volume or starting and stopping music playing. The sound is an upgrade from the original Home and is a lot more full. These can be paired, so two speakers can play stereo sound. They are louder than the original Google Home and have a more full-range sound (from low frequencies to high), although the bass isn't going to knock your socks off. During the holidays they were sold in pairs with a discount, and that's a pretty good way to set them up, as a pair. You manage the speaker through the Home application, just like all the other Home / Nest products. So if you're already using Home / Nest products, this is a super-easy upgrade. If it's your first smart speaker, this is a good way to start.

I really enjoy the speaker and got it on sale which (the sale price deserves 5 stars). The sound quality is rich & obviously it has the smart features if your home is integrated for them. The only downside is being unable to set alarms to music (Spotify, Apple Music, etc). When prompted it says the option is no longer available. Still would purchase again.
