Instead of Hiring a contractor for hundred, I opted to purchase some nest speakers to compliment our Nest secure, and doorbell systems. They work great to notify you of someone at the door. We also used the Nest-WiFi mesh system, and the delay is incredibly low from the doorbell, maybe a second from the actual ring of the doorbell. Great alternative, and cheaper.

We’ve had our little google homes for almost 5 years. They just don’t die. I crushed one of the google speakers on accident with a heavy shelf the thing still responded to hey google. Great product

If you are trying to connect your Nest Mini to a Bluetooth speaker, you can follow the steps below:
- Turn on your Bluetooth speaker and make sure it’s in pairing mode. Press the pairing button on your Bluetooth speaker, if possible.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Make sure you're in the right home. The name of the home is at the top of the screen. To change homes, tap the arrow next to the home name.
- Tap your device.
- At the top right, tap Settings > Audio. If this is your first time to use Bluetooth on this device, tap Paired Bluetooth devices > Enable pairing mode > go back to Audio.
- Tap Default music speaker > Pair Bluetooth speaker. Your Google Nest or Home device will then scan for Bluetooth devices.
- Tap the Bluetooth device once it appears on the screen > Done.
- Your Bluetooth device will now pair with your Google Nest or Home device.
