Must better sound than the first Gen and now you don't have to keep saying Hey Google, Hey Google, Hey Google between activities. Very convenient but it's spying on me. Lol...

Came with the google nest doorbell. Works like a charm and replaces the doorbell chime as the house doesn't have one. Announces that someone rang the doorbell clearly and noticeably.

Works great to control lights and music love it !!

We own many Nest Mini smart speakers and have one in just about every room of our home, including our garage. We utilize them to integrate with lights, door locks, tv’s, etc. There are only rare times when we have issues with them and typically we just reboot them from the Google Home app and we are good to go. They certainly make some things convenient like when you would like to play music or ask Google a question. The 2nd Generation come with a pre-drilled hole on the underside to hang on the wall if you so choose. These were a good value, especially if you pick them up on sale.

Great sound quality and has a great range for how low and high you want your volume.

I have several of these type of speakers from another company. Who wants a speaker that doesn’t sound good. There’s a lot of functions you can use but music is number one. This has the best!

Once I finally got it set up, it was great. But I did have to get a separate app (different from the Home app) to set it up on the wifi for the first time. Odd and clunky fix by Google, but got it working.

They have okay sound, easy to pair. I like being able to control my lights with them.

I have an Alexa upstairs and the nest mini downstairs. The Nest mini has better sound quality and works well in pairing smart devices like the GE Bulbs and smart switches.

Changing your old light switches to smart switches were easy and it’s pretty cool can control every smart device with a command. Very helpful and useful.

After going through the teaching process, I decided to give it a try with my entertainment set-up. I proceeded to ask it to turn on my Nvidia Shield. Well lo and behold, my entire system turned on! The Nvidia Shield, the AV Receiver, and my TV! Like I said, nice little speaker/assistant.

Been a great resource for music and podcasts, plus getting info on news and weather.

We have these throughout the house. We use them to control the lights, thermostat, music, everything. We have them assigned different names so if we want one to talk to another in the house, we just specify which one and it broadcasts our message. Works great. We don't have to yell upstairs to tell the kids something.

I have the nest mini in my bedside table and I love when I want to know something or when I want to watch something on my tv because I also have a chromecast. Great device.

I use this product every day it is awesome I love it . I use it to control my tv and I also us it to control my phone. I have nothing bad to say about this product.

This is my 3rd Mini and it is helpful around the house in providing information at a command, operating some of my smart devices, and playing my music in each room as needed. My wife was reluctant when we got the first one but has since used it for receipes and a simple timer for both cooking and other tasks.

I have both the gray and charcoal Nest Mini's. This charcoal one blends in quite nicely in a room with dark colored items and is a convenient way to add Google Assistant to a new space.

Much prefer the Google/ Nest Smart Home system over Alexa. App is cleaner, easier to setup, and to me has more useful features. Sound quality is great for how small it is!
