They still work with each other but the nest mini is better a listening. Both are great but the google assistant sometimes misses what you are trying to say. The google home mini does it more often but it isn’t really all that bad compared to Alexa.

Sometimes its easier to ask the google a question & to have it understand compared to the echo. Great product.

As I finished asking my very long list of questions, I decided to go with Ben's suggestion; a 65" Sony television, a mounting kit and a 2-yr total tech subscription. Ben was so helpful - he was so patient when answering my questions. The gift was a hit and the shopping experience was great thanks to Ben Griebel!

As long as they can pick up a good wifi signal, they are helpful little buddies. Listen to music, play games, tell time, turn your lights on and off, turn the thermostat up or down, be a translator for you, the list goes on and on.

The odd thing is this one is placed in a more used area of the house and every once in a while, we will hear Google respond to something we said to each other or our dog. Things like, "i don't understand the question" or "please repeat the statement". We think its funny, and it don't happen very often. We have both in a plug in wall mount.

I use it every day and have so many smart home items now. It's pretty easy to add new devices to the app so they can be turned on with voice commands. have a couple of critiques that I wish could be improved. It has a hard time recognizing everyone in the families voice. There is no way to turn off a timer by voice command. You can set one and check on the progress, but you can't say "Hey google mute the timer" or anything.

We’re sorry to hear that you're experiencing some issues with the device recognizing everyone's voices and turning off the timer via voice command.
