Outstanding device. In the kitchen; spits out whatever recipe you need, first listing ingredients individually, then cooking instructions. In the bedroom; ask it to play sounds of the sea, sounds of night, or even sounds of rain and viola, you have great white noise for sleeping. Anywhere; ask a question, it spits out the answer. Ask it a joke, it'll tell one. Ask it to sing, there ya have it (try getting a wife to do that...lol). Get forecasts, news, everything!

Sounds better than the first generation Home Mini and it will automatically raise it's volume when the room suddenly becomes noisy.

Awesome google speaker and google assistant all in one! The sensitivity, processing time and response are excellent.

The update has improved the sound. Great device and I enjoy playing music on my home audio group that plays on all of my speakers.

The best mini helps me set reminders right away and helps me when my little brother is bored. This also makes a pretty good speaker.

We really like the nest mini. We have one in each room and like the feature to broadcast to each one individually to speak to our kids. The kids also like the music feature and alarm feature.

This is a great item to purchase for every day use. It has a great alarm and the quality is great.

Great doorbell speakers.our new home had no doorbell terminal upon move in. Instead of Hiring a contractor for hundred, I opted to purchase some nest speakers to compliment our Nest secure, and doorbell systems. They work great to notify you of someone at the door. We also used the Nest-WiFi mesh system, and the delay is incredibly low from the doorbell, maybe a second from the actual ring of the doorbell. Great alternative, and cheaper.

Definitely easy to install, and great to work in the house. Has made controlling lights and the NEST AC system a breeze.
