These were probably the easiest setup process ever. Instructions were simple and signal was very reliable. This was good to cover the dead spots in my house and also doubled as a google assistant with speaker. Controls were simple and love the priority service feature so I can make work or gaming a priority in a house filled with people streaming and gaming. Only compliant is that I wish there was more option for colors and that the access points did not come with a network port. A little pricey compare to other tri-band or WIFI 6 mesh network but I like google products for its ease of use and accessibility.

Set up was a snap. Plugged in opened Google Home, added product, scanned QR code, and it was up and running. WiFi was maxed out at my LAN speed which was 50/50 up and down. Range even penetrated to my 2nd floor with ease. Google commands were easy to use and to link to my other devices. Nice white color. Sleek and subtle. I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased this product to replace a Netgear Nighthawk that was the main router which I used to DHCP the wired stuff in my office, which I had a Google WiFi 3-pack Mesh attached to that provided WiFi. Not being a "networking guy" I didn't realize it would make the wired and wireless units not visible to each other. So I replaced the Nighthawk with this upgraded Nest pair and meshed all 5 units. But before I "joined" the original Google WiFi units to this NEST mesh, I did a bunch of testing and I was blown away by the speed of these WiFi units. I have 100Mbps Cable Internet with 10Mbps upload. Using my cell phone and the built in speed test in the Google Home app, I constantly got 110Mbps down and around 10.5-11Mbps upload everywhere in the house. The tough spots were out in the garage, the driveway, and backyard, so I added the other 3 older Google WiFi units and now I have wireless that I believe is comparable to being wired. There are a few wired devices in my son's room which are now using the older Google WiFi unit and they're all just as fast as the wireless units. We used to use a Powerline adapter with a switch for his wired stuff and the speed was terrible. That's no longer the case with this router and the mesh. The best thing about this product is that it's Google Home Aware, so if you're "hey google" and not "alexa" it's a great choice. Plus the bonus with the WiFi Point is the built in speaker and Google Assistant. We replaced a tablet and bluetooth speaker with the Point in our kitchen and the sound is amazing. It's not designed to "crank up the volume" but if you want some background music in your home then this thing will satisfy for sure. All in all, I couldn't be happier with it. I took the Netgear Nighthawk out of service and now it's Google WiFi all the way.

I have Xfinity Internet at 1200 Mbps. Obviously those speeds can never be achieved in reality. The average is 800-900 Mbps on wifi. Which is excellent. Originally I tried using the "pods" directly from Comcast, but they were a dismal failure. I decided to try the Google nest mesh system instead. This is an excellent product, very easy to use, good coverage of a 3000 sq home, I bought another wifi point, and speeds are more than enough for anything, including online gaming. I can't comment on long term reliability, but so far no complaints.

Recently bought a TP-link mesh for my home. Had only 100 mhz speed on wifi. I would see signal losses during the day. I saved and bought this setup, (with two other points). No more signal loss, and the added assistant in the point has really simplified my home, 3 less google homes around here. Only qualms are price, and there is only 1 ethernet port out, So I bought a simple unmanaged switch to add 4 ports.

We have a two story home and have always struggled with stable Wifi though out. This mesh system has worked worked great for us. We have the router upstairs and the points on opposing sides of the house. Set up is easy and does require the Google home app. The only drawbacks to it are that the points do not have a port for cabled connections. So you will need to ensure you’re set up for Wifi only. Also, I have noticed that it randomly stops playing music/podcasts and I have yet to figure out why. Wifi signal is constant and strong.

The Nest WiFi mesh system by Google is really cool! It delivers a strong, fast WiFi signal with devices that are VERY low profile. Unless you knew where I placed mine, you'd never even notice them in the house. The set-up was really easy and the app guided me through along the way. It took about 5 minutes (each node) to set up everything. The connection is maintained well and all of my devices, even older ones, connect without problem. I get full signal throughout my entire 1600 sq. ft. home without any glitches or slowing. My only complaint is the price. $250 is steep, but worth it, if you can or want to afford it. My only hope is that Google drops the price on the individual nodes sometime in the near future so I can extend my range even further ( like to my pool).

Coverage of a 1600 square feet house: Pretty good overall! Would recommend putting them in taller places around the house i.e. shelves. We've also discovered that one of our walls have something inside that will block signals so it did improve our network but not to the extend that we were hoping for. So test your walls folks, that may be another reason why your network is experiencing issues.

I am using Google products for my home internet and wireless cameras and this was my first mesh attempt. It is working fine and has good coverage for my 3000 sq ft home and my cameras never go out until their batteries die and they are on the fringes of the mesh. Everything inside is great.

Definitely what our house needed. We have a tri level, 1,900 square foot home. The WiFi connection in the living room and kitchen was always disconnecting. We couldn’t stream games or tv very well. We have little to no issues now. Set up is easy.

The mesh system works great. Before this, I had 2 Nighthawk R7000 and CM1000 modem. This setup required some advanced tweaking in comparison to the Google Mesh setup. And in comparison, the Google Nest Wifi setup was easier to setup and the speed across devices is also much faster regardless of the range. The access point comes with Google Assistant built in so that's a huge plus if you are trying to setup smart speakers throughout your house. I have my Alexa devices connected to my point via Bluetooth so I can play music in all my devices including Alexa devices. The Google WiFi app is fast and responsive as well and you can use that to manage all your WiFi settings. I have the Router connected to my Xfinity Xfi Gateway and my internet speed isn't throttled--i get 600-800 Mbps in my wireless devices even if its connected to the AP wifi. Wired-in, I get 900+ as promised by my ISP.

I love these! My last router had a tough time reach out upstairs. These bad boys do the job. I have the router in the basement and an access point in the living room and another in the upstairs. Not complaints here with range or connectivity. 10/10 recommend. I put my two best friends and my brother in law on to it.

I was a bit skeptical about this project as i have always used Netgear. I needed more coverage in my home as there were several dead spots. So i purchased this product during a nice sale at Best Buy. It was a great purchase! Installation was really simple using my Android smart phone. Following the instructions (very simple) step by step yielded a connection in just a couple of minutes for the main unit. The point was equally easy and the inclusion of Google Assistant on the point is a nice touch. Speed testing shows both the up and downloads to be higher than the speeds i expect from my ISP and i tested this over and over to confirm. Always perfect. I had several areas that had cameras where i had intermittently lost signal and in the last 2+ weeks, no drops at all. Video conferences have been perfect. Very good product.

I have seen some improvement in WiFi coverage as compared to my standalone Netgear router, but not a significant jump. Some devices still have trouble latching on to the WiFi signal but when they do, the speeds are impressive! With "Switch to mobile data (aggressive mode)" turned on, my Android phone sometimes fails to connect to WiFi even at 10 feet from the router/point. When it does however, the speed is almost fast as a wired connection (I pay for 100 Mbps but routinely get 115-120 Mbps). The Google Assistant on the point is a nice bonus but not something I would base my decision on. The ability to pause WiFi on select devices and to view each device's data consumption are valuable features. I wish Google would combine everything into the Google Home app rather than have us use two different apps to accomplish different things. A bit pricey though!

I was hesitant to buy this mesh system while sitting in the car in the parking lot, walking into store, and walking the isles just to avoid any regrets. I went from a netgear nighthawk x6 to an Asus 5300 to an UniFi USG with 2 access points and 2 Poe switches. I even tried the mesh network with Asus. That was no good. Wasted money. I was hoping to maximize my 1GB internet speed. For some reason though, even with bypassing the modem, I could still not get over 200-300mb on a good day for speed tests. So my goal was to buy another ubiquity product to replace my prosumer setup and increase my speed. I have about 20+ devices so I figured ubiquity would handle my network the best. So I spent a few days researching and knowing I wasn’t getting the Google Nest WiFi because... just no. After my research I looked at the Orbi, the new Asus Line, and anything with mesh network connectivity. I was looking for that gotcha in each product line. After a few speed test videos, most said the Google Nest WiFi is what I needed since I don’t have devices with WiFi 6. So I made the purchase reluctantly but I am super glad. The speed and coverage is just what I need. Each and every device I tested gets great speeds and coverage (4200+ sq home). The speakers on the WiFi points are an added bonus. The music sounds surprisingly great. I have a switch connected to the router to give me additional wired devices. I even put my phone on airplane mode to test the coverage while cutting the grass. Even up to 20+ ft away through walls from the nearest access point, the coverage and speeds were excellent. I have to say, this has been the best wireless router system I have had in over 10 years. Best decision ever made when I told myself don’t buy it.

Due to Covid 19 we found ourselves in a serious need for more bandwidth and better coverage. With 2 boys in school and now all school being done remotely, and my wife and I still being able to work from home, 100mb was not going to cut it. Upgraded with the ISP to 400mb, upgraded the modem and replaced a 10yr old router with this mesh system. Took all of about an hour to be up and running and so far very happy with the purchase. No more dead zones in the house. One of the mesh points is in the garage and definitely helps with coverage there as well as outside. Run speed tests pretty frequent and regularly seeing above 400mb. Also the built in Google assistant/speaker on the mesh points is pretty cool, the sound will not blow you away but work just fine for what they can do.
