No problem installing and performs very well. Isn’t an eyesore in the house

I was reluctant to invest in a system for a long time but if I add him all the money with different Wi-Fi access points and extenders that I’ve tried throughout the years this is a much more cost-effective solution. With the mesh technology you get the same strength of signal repeated throughout your house as opposed to just a degraded extender signal. You could literally hook these units up in a straight line to the next town if you could find an electric outlet along the way and you would have the same Internet speed at the end of the line that you do at your starting point in your house. My house is 1270 ft.² but I wanted to make sure so I bought the three pack. I think the two pack would have worked but I didn’t want to take a chance and I’m glad that I didn’t because I don’t have a spot in my house now that isn’t full bars of Internet. My Netflix streaming is the fastest it’s ever been. I am completely satisfied. I’ll just touch on the benefits of having a Google assistant in every room but if you’re familiar with them this is a huge added bonus. My house is becoming smarter over the last year and I control all my lights and TVs with the Google assistance so this is a great ancillary benefit to me. Asking my Wi-Fi hotspot to play Pandora with a pretty good speaker is worth it’s weight in gold. Altogether I believe this makes it one of the best purchases I’ve ever made in the area of home electronics. You won’t be disappointed.

Greatly improved connectivity and speeds across the home. As soon as I hooked up, we saw faster speeds, less lagging and we get a better signal on our deck for watching games wirelessly on our TV. Another bonus is you can pair to each individually using Bluetooth as a wireless speaker, or use the Google home App and stream to all of them simultaneously.

We bought the Google Nest to replace a router and extender. We have a 2 story house on 14+ acres with a shop building that is at least 50 yards from the house. The wifi hub is in our upstairs office in the house. We placed the points in our 1st floor living room and in the shop building where the extender had been. The system was super easy to set up - literally plug and play. It is very easy to control the network and devices with the Google Home and Google Wifi apps (for DNS adjustments, etc.) on our cell phones. The Google Home app allows devices on the network to be sorted by which room they are in, placed in speaker groups, etc. Other devices can be added such as Roku, but not Ring (competitor). But the biggest bonus by far has been the range. My husband wears noise cancelling headphones to stream music while mowing our large yard. He was stunned when he did not lose the signal even when nearly a quarter of mile from the hub! Things that Google needs to improve: integration with other smart devices (including competitors), improved integration (two devices should never answer at the same time), add a microphone and speaker to the hub unit (this is just gouging to get you to purchase another speaker), and stop making the big doofy outlet plugs that take up two spaces on an outlet or power strip.

Setup was very easy and coverage throughout the house is very good.

I live in a 1100 sq ft apartment with Spectrum Internet 400 speed plan. I was fortunate to get this on sale for $200 + tax. The router has 1 Ethernet port besides the one to connecting to the modem. I have 1gb 8 port splitter connected to the router with 8cat cable. Using 8 cat cable gets me higher speeds and lower ping than when I used 7 cat cable. My Xbox is connected to the router and most of time I gets speeds around 500mbs and times over 600. Ping is always under 40 and best I have had was around 14. As for wireless connection throughout the apartment my speeds range anywhere from over 100mbs to low 200s. Ping varies from mid teens to low 80s depending on time of day. Later I picked up a 2nd Google Nest Router cuz I wanted a wired connection in my computer room to connect to my work computer. Speeds were faster connecting my laptop to 2nd Google router and pings typically dropped by 20. Setting up second router and wireless point is real easy. Takes about 10 minutes to complete.

Increased our Internet range and speed dramatically. We have a ranch style house with full basement. It is only 1440 square feet on each level, and we have tried many top of the line routers only to continue to have dead spots in our house. My husband had heard about the mesh routing systems and how they could eliminate dead zones. We read the Consumer Reports and other reviews and heard this one was top rated. When it went on sale, we grabbed it and couldn't be happier than we did. Not only is there full coverage in our house, my husband walked all the way out to the edge of our property line in our back yard and walked the whole perimeter and still had four bars the whole way and continued to stream his movie with no interruption. We told my parents about it because they were having so much trouble getting the speeds that they were paying for from their Internet company in NC. When they bought it, we helped them hook it up, and their Internet speed more than tripled. We had five movies streaming on different devices throughout their home, as well as our kids using their iPads at the same time, and all without a hiccup. So for our family, this was the answer for our Internet issues.

Setup was simple and easy. Speeds are so much faster then I had with my 1200AC router. Range if you just use the main router is about the same as any single router but adding the point unit to it gives you plenty of range. And being a mesh system means you don't have to worry about having more then one wifi system setup in your devises

I'm very very pleased with nest. I'm sure there will be bumps here and there but my biggest complaint with other routers was consistency whether speed, app, or coverage. Seeing close to the speeds I'm actually paying for has been a nice change from the last four years of constant fluctuation!

I have had wireless issues for over two years. My house is a two story brick house 72 feet long. MY wireless provider has, over the years, supplied my routers (3 different ones). None gave a reliable signal the length of the house. They finally suggested a range booster which I purchased. It still did not due the job. My son moved to a new house and bought one of these and said it worked great. So, I decided to give it a try. The units were simple to install following the directions. In less than 1/2 an hour, I had the system up and running. I now have a stead, strong, signal through out the entire house. In fact I am writing this on my laptop in the furthest room from the router.

Purchased and Installed same day. 3300 sq ft two story home. Main router was upstairs towards front so coverage downstairs was spotty. Outside backyard wouldn’t get signal. Replaced with this mesh system, very fast and easy to setup, main is upstairs and two mesh devices downstairs. NEW COVERAGE IS GREAT. I’m hitting full speeds in all of the house and about 80% speed outside. We’ll see how it holds up.

I tested my old router and it it was getting around 35 MB’s speeds. Our brick house is an interesting design, but that means weird angles which causes the WiFi has to travel through brick walls and across outside spaces to other parts of our home, which is semi impossible for one router. One part of the house was even slower than the rest and spotty, and my home office was all hit a dead zone. WiFi extenders gave me signal hit extremely slow WiFi. The Covid pandemic meant I was working and video conferencing from home, kids were distance learning on video, and TVs, tablets, and gaming consoles were competing with my work all day long. Upgraded to the google mesh system. All hot spots gone, speeds are at over 125 MB’s on average and it keeps up with all of our devices. It even extended coverage to our back yard. Extremely happy with the product, and the nodes (?) play music, can make calls, etc. So they are helpful additions to every room, and they look sleek and stylish so I don’t mind them being out (my last, multi-antenna travesty I wanted to hide but that made it even slower.) if you have slow WIFi and/or dead zones or weak signal in parts your house and need fast internet, this is worth the money.

Excellent network, it has a large range and very good service. Almost never buffers when streaming, easy to connect to. Lately, when streaming Sirius radio from the points it spontaneously stops, it streams for seconds or minutes

It's worth every penny for wiki coverage for a big house (3500 sqft of living space). I found it was so easy to install and set up. The Nest app was so simple to use, no technical skill needed. The 3 pods have worked amazingly since I set them up. There have been no down times, no signal lost. 2 thumbs up from us.

A great fix to wifi coverage . Extremely easy to setup

Bought the AC2200 to replace a mishmash of products designed to eliminate WiFi dead spots in my 3300 sq ft three-level home. Real easy to set up and so far so good, with great coverage in all areas (including the basement, even with the router on the top floor and the nearest end point on the main floor). I didn’t even realize when I bought this that the end points have built-in speakers and are smart devices that respond to voice commands (I’ve never been a fan of the Alexa-type products to be honest). So while I love playing music in the kitchen and office, I probably won’t be checking weather and all the other stuff you can do with these things, but you never know. I debated getting an extra end point (purchased separately) but ultimately didn’t need one. I even get good WiFi in my gazebo which is about 30 feet away from the end point in the kitchen. Haven’t tried to see how far I can go outside and still get good reception but I suspect it will reach to near the end of my property line.

I have a 3 story townhome. I had a powerful single unit modem/router in the basement, it just didn't have the juice to get top speeds upstairs. Then got these when the internet company recommended them. SO much better. With 1 on each floor I get top speeds on all 3 floors and the range pushes out to my driveway, garage, and backyard too. No question I love these. Grabbed on sale and couldn't be happier. Love that you can add more down the road should you win the lottery and need more sqft coverage! :) PS having the google assistant in each is simply icing on the cake. We had 10 google devices already, this took us to 13. So basically a speaker or display in all rooms. When you have a question, or want music played on all, having 3 more speakers is awesome. And the google home app has a great wifi section to check your speed, connections, etc, instantly. Highly recommend.

I had trouble getting a good signal in our family room. Instead of buying a WiFi extender I decided to try a mesh system. The Google Nest system is a good value compared to other systems, was easy to setup and works great. I now get a great signal and fast connection throughout the house and on my back patio. Highly recommended!

This is exactly what I needed to boost a high-speed signal through a 3,800 sq ft house. I was bringing in gigabyte speed from the curb to a combo modem/router box provided by my ISP, but the signal would drop from time to time across the house. Enter the Google Mesh, and this changed the game. Having the router alone was a boost, simply because the ISP-provided 'network box' was way too dated, but the two extra access points were the difference. Set up is super easy, and I was able to go from out-of-the-box to a full set up in under 45 minutes. Simple, right? Yeesh...and then I did something wrong, but a factory reset and setting up the network again was fast and easy. We went from having 16 connections on two channels (well, actually 15 since the modem took one) to the ability to host 100 simultaneous connections. Plus I set up a guest network for the umpteen friends and family that want to come to our home and get hooked up. Nice! No extra effort, just another bit of config done within the Google Home app. Fast, simple, and exactly what we needed!
