Love how easy and seamless it was to setup and control your Wi-Fi. I have the terrible wifi from the cable company and disabled this to use only the mesh for 3 floors never losing any connection. In addition to it being a google speaker it’s great for any room.

If you have wifi dead spots in your house with your current router, then this is a really good option. Especially if you have already invested in the Google smart home infrastructure. This is very easy to set up. Just plug the router into your cable modem, download the google home app and follow the simple instructions. After the router is set up, you can install the satellite/ google home device. After a few software updates, you will be ready to go. I compared this with my current mesh wifi system and to my surprised it was slightly faster! There are is one major issue for me that keeps me from giving this 5 stars. There is only 1 ethernet port on the router. In my setup, I prefer to connect using ethernet rather than wifi for some of my devices, i.e. gaming console. Other devices like my cloud drive and smart home hub can only connect using Ethernet. Sure, you can pick up a cheap Ethernet switch, but it’s just one more device you have to find free space for and a free outlet. I love that the satellite is also a google home device. This is good thinking on Googles part. If you already have Google smart home devices in your home, this will blend in seamlessly, if not, it’s a good intro to their voice controlled devices. I would recommend this if you simply need a fast wifi router that eliminates dead spots in your home. But if you’re a techy like me, you may want to look at other devices that offer more connectivity options.

I bought this router to set up a smart home system and not spend hours tinkering with router settings. Google really delivered with this product as it meets all my expectations. Set up was a breeze and adding new devices is always quick and easy. I have integrated two existing tvs as well as some light bulbs into the system.

I bought this to replace my Netgear router and it works great. I bought a new desktop recently but it wasn't connecting to my wifi. The Google Nest was pretty easy to set up and I've had no complaints so far. The connection is stable and I've used it to play online video games as well and it's been working for me.

Really easy installation and configuration. The added use of the satellite component as a voice command/speaker system is really nice to have. The signal has been excellent with just two points in a 3000 ft home. I have also lost power while away and it came back without issue.

Have had some issues with connectivity, but still trying to work out the kinks between my modem/router combo and the Nest system. Nest Help online is not so much help so its a lot of trial and error. Definitely not as easy as I had hoped as I lose connection here and there throughout the week, but its not all that bad. Keeping this as I hope to be able to make the necessary fixes.

Purchased this products because our wifi wasn’t too good. We didn’t have good coverage with the router we got from spectrum. Very easy to set up and our wifi strength is way better! Recommended to 1 other family member and the hubby installed for that family member.

I threw away the nighthawk router for this setup, so far i have amazing wifi throughout my house and even into my front yard by the street, my outdoor cameras work great now and even my gaming experience has gotten better... fyi im wired in!

I install this system on the 2400 sq ft ranch, and I have the signal strong all around (at least 3 bar) I was intent to use the AC1200, but this one does not cut it, so I decide to upgrade. So far so good, signal stable during the day, some interruption at night due to automatic update

Great mesh system. Easy to set up and app is easy as well. Wi-fi works very well in 4000 sq ft house. Didn't give 5 stars since I have had to reset the router a couple of times due to Google Assistant not working well and one laptop had slow speed. Not sure if the problem was caused by me or the mesh router. Overall, very satisfied.

It was basically just plug it in and go, then just set up your network through the Google apps. I didn't need to adjust any modem settings or make any exceptions for it on AT&T gigabit fiber. And it works about 5x better than their proprietary modem does. I'm very happy with it. The price was crazy, but luckily I had gift cards.

This router is an upgrade from the one the cable company sent me. I now get great wifi coverage throughout the house as well as in the front and back yards. Having both the router and point was overkill for my home, but I wanted coverage outside. I also like how I can use my phone to determine which devices need priority.

We always had Wi-Fi cut, after we bought the Google router plus Google Home, we never have issue with the internet. All the devices are streaming very well. Kids doesn’t get distracted due to the slow internet. We are very happy and we highly recommend it.

Had the original google WiFi, this is much better. Don’t use the smart capabilities so can’t speak to that, but in terms of doing what it needs to do? Great. Have 3 points and router in my 2 story 2800 sqft house which is too many according to google, but have a boxy layout so needed it and don’t regret it

Overall it’s a good system and I’m happy with it. I have a 2500 sq ft house where I’ve faced a lot of challenges getting good signal in all rooms. I added two of the to the older google mesh points, I now have 5 throughout the house. I have great signal throughout. However, setting up was very frustrating and took far longer than necessary. I had to do a lot of google searches to troubleshoot. Google stopped using a wifi specific app and you have to use google home app, which is terrible. Most times the app won’t let me connect to run diagnostics and I haven’t had a successful wifi mesh test in several attempts. My mesh says weak connection with some points which is baffling with 5 mesh/nest points, but not really sure since the mesh test doesn’t work for me. The pain in initial setup, weak mesh status in app despite 5 wifi points and the difficulty with the app are why I’d rate 2.5 stars if I could.

I have been using the Nest wifi for a couple of years now and it works fantastic. We had a couple of dead zones in our home that we were able to cover with only two pucks. Simple to use and love the integration with Google Home.

I find that these have a overall minimal intrusion amongst all my treasures. The router seems to function well with more performance than my old OnHub router. I get that these are mesh routers but I wish the two mesh units had Ethernet capability. This way I can hard wire them to the network.

We replaced another system with the Google Nest Wifi AC2200 Mesh System Router. The main purpose was to extend the wifi throough the house. As a bonus our intertet speed increased. Internet still a little sluggish at the far end of the house but better than before. Wish it was a little cheaper but other than that it is great.
