I replaced my old Netgear R6400 router with the Nest system and have been amazed at the difference! We have high speed internet access throughout the house with no gaps. While the Netgear router has numerous settings, both standard and advanced which were impossible to understand, the Nest is so easy and it works far better. I’m sorry I struggled so long with old technology before making the switch.

It is good mesh router.. Decent range which can be expanded as needed. Having said that the speeds drop as days go by till you restart the router/ or restart the network thru google home.. the drop was drastic from 400 Mbps to less the 20Mbps and that is a pain till we restart. Looks like it is a known issue as per many discussion board threads. Hope google fixes this

After many returned extenders, this one stood my test... Which includes layers of thick walls over two floors and across two rooms. Incredibly strong connections maintained by only the router and its accompanying mesh. I have to recommend it to those who rely heavily on one internet connection for multiple concurrent uses including Zoom and TV steaming in a multi room setting.

I’ve used Google Wifi prior to these and I had assumed they’d be more or less the same but rebranded with Nest. They’re so much better. The Google Home app and the setup of the devices was seamless and they work extremely well. Made a massive improvement to the wifi signal in our home—reaching to rooms that were previously barely getting a wifi signal. And even at the far ends of the house, the internet is fast and reliable.

Very easy to set up. Fast wifi now everywhere in the house, not just the short range of my old 2.4/5g router, which had super fast wifi in about a 10 foot radius of router, and solid but slower internet in the rest of the house. Nest WiFi took under 10 minutes to set up and i have 140mb or more speed all through the 2 story house and basement.

This Google mesh network hands down is worth the money. Full setup took about an hour and had full control of all my devices in hand and did not have to pay a 3rd party to control my devices. Previous mesh system (Orbi) would not allow me to control my system fully without paying a 3rd party $50 a year. Good job Google for making a solid product.

Bottom Line: the Google Nest Wifi AC2200 Mesh System will improve your connection stability and speed over an equivalent single point router. Pros: easy setup, built-in Google Voice on point, reliable and fast WiFi signal Cons: dual-band even though competitor products offer tri-band Review: I had been using a single point AC router for years, which provided good service to my 1300 square foot town home. However, with all the video conferencing with the stay-at-home orders, I was constantly seeing connection issues (dropped audio/video) on Zoom. I tried moving the single point router closer to my home office but to no avail. After doing some research, I settled on the Google Nest AC2200 Mesh System, since it seemed like a good balance between price and performance. Set up was simple with the Google Home app, and I had the network up and running in about fifteen minutes out of the box. The point has Google Voice built in, although, I tend not to use it that much given the other voice assistants we have in the house. I have the point setup in my home office with the main router across the house. Since I've setup the network, I haven't had any drops or connection issues on Zoom, so I'm highly satisfied with the stability and speed of the connection. It also extends the WiFi signal further into my yard with the point, which is a plus. My only criticism is that this system only offers dual band signals, whereas many of its competitor products offered tri-band. I haven't had any issues, though, with network congestion where I live.

I work from home and my home office is in the basement of my home. I didn't have good a wifi signal even with an extender from my other router but with this one, it's amazing!! I have no problem with connecting to afternoon Zoom meetings. That was a huge issue previously. It's a little pricey but worth it. If this changes, I will update.

I'm upgrading my Wi-fi service and somewhat my old router isn't at pace to 200mbps. Decided to buy this Google Nest after watching several reviews online. The Nest is super-fast and never had a lag or disconnection with internet. It's small and design is simple so it fits anywhere unlike other brands it’s bulky & annoying. I got this one sale for $199 at BB and jump into it. There you have it, fast, reliable & good-looking.

I like this mesh wifi system by Google. working good with my laptops, iphones and everything else. no problem. speed has increased to a reasonable levels. before it used to be 25-35 GB with comcast modem and wifi. Now it is 120-150GB on my laptops, with google router and netgear nighthawk modem(CM1100). I subscribe to 1000GB internet speed with the comcast internet and my desktop is 950GB on speed. dont know why speed is 120-150 gb in my laptops. However, working fine though. no problems.
