Netgear is the way to go. Upgraded from an older model and loving the step-up. Easy to install and router functions available on their app. Now I get wifi outside the house. Definitely would recommend.

I purchased this for my son who lives in an apt with 2 other people and it is a long narrow, front to back apt. The salesman suggested this one because of those reasons. Seems to be working out great!

Great product, I would recommend it. Always make sure that when your picking your Router, make sure you know your internet speed. You always want to match the internet speed with the router.

It was easy to hoop up and has helped my internet speed and the helped get a faster connections with other devices in the house. I can actually get a WIFI feed on my phone from 1/4 miles from the house.

Needed to purchase an ac router to take advantage of my fast Internet connection at home. Not disappointed. Rarely have to reset router, perhaps once every 3-4 week, which is fine with me.

Decided to change routers as my old one was 3 years old. Technology changes rapidly and this one has a lot of power and capability. It was simple to set up and works great in the entire house.

At first I thought oh hey netgear yea I don't know but then I checked the specs and have been using it and it's a solid little unit great for beginners but lacks some more advanced settings.

We chose this router when upgrading from our old linksys one. Our internet company had recommended the Netgear nighthawk, so my husband went into the Best Buy store to look. The salesman asked what our needs were and then recommended this to us and stated nighthawk was overkill. This is a good value and easy to set up. We still have issues of the signal dropping in certain parts of the house which is disappointing. I don't feel like we gained much in speed either. Perhaps the nighthawk would have been worth the money based on our home's configuration.

This purchase was to replace a previous router that gave up the good fight after several years of use. It was truly easy to set up and install and I haven't had a problem with it since.

Purchased based on recommendation of an assistant manager. It was very easy to install. Worked well at start up. No problems. Pays to spend a little more to get something that works well.

Easy to plug in and go. Router has all the features that I was looking for. It could benefit from additional wireless broadcast power, as connection speed at distance drops but is still sufficient

Bought this router recently by exchanging my router plus Modem combo. There are no problems like internet disconnection or speed fluctuations like earlier had with router modem combo.

Our old router wasn't strong enough for our family of five. My kids complained how slow everything ran. Now, there are no more complaints.

NETGEAR - AC1600 Dual-Band Gigabit Router with 4-Port Ethernet Switch - Black does what it is supposed to do. Router was very easy to set up. Seems like a good option if you need a router!

We have a lot of wireless devices in the home(tvs, laptops, tablets, phones) this router is able to handle all the devices without losing speed. I love it and highly recommended it.

Very easy to use. no disruption in services after switching to this unit from another brand. Time will tell how it handles power outages or signal issues moving forward. So far so good.

Our old router just up and failed, so we bought this one. It set up easily, and seems to have good speed, but the 'beamforming' must form the beam away from the areas our old N300 covered. Very weak signal in the farthest reaches of the house where we used to have a good signal. It does seem to handle multiple devices, as long as you are close to the router.
