I had my previous router for about 7 years, so it really was not pulling its weight anymore. This router was very easy to set up and works like a charm. I have nothing bad to say about it.

I was having a lot of problems with my previous router. Disconnecting at all times. Since I bought this new Netgear router, I can enjoy movies with no buffering. Works just great!

This router is great overall. My old Netgear N300 router finally died so wanted to stick with something familiar. Considering my old Netgear lasted me over 5 years I figured another Netgear would be a good choice. From a reliability standpoint this router has been great. 2.4Ghz range has been great. On par if not slightly better than my old Netgear. The 5Ghz range has been mediocre and seems to drop every so often. I'm on the latest firmware so it shouldn't be due to old software. I knew 5Ghz range would be limited, but didn't expect it to drop as much as it does. It's not bad, but it's not perfect like the 2.4Ghz band. For reference, I'm in a 2-story, 2500 sq. ft. house and place the router in a corner of the house downstairs. Not the ideal position, but even 2 rooms over 5Ghz range is fairly poor. I bought this router due to it having better 5Ghz range than the R6400 per smallnetbuilder so can't imagine how bad that one is with 5Ghz range. It's saving grace is the 2.4Ghz throughput is significantly higher than my old router. My Xbox One gets 40 Mb/s consistently whereas before it only got about 4 Mb/s before. For now we just stay on the 2.4Ghz band. I'll revisit the 5Ghz band after the next upgrade.

I'm a Charter/Spectrum customer for well over 20 years. I decided to save a few bucks a month buy getting my own router, and not being charged a rental fee. This item replaces an older R6250, so it looks very similar. This is a newer model, looks good, and handles the latest speeds. Setup was a breeze, and works great!

Router was easy to setup with my Charter Internet service. It was also simple to change the broadcasted router name and its password.

easy to install, good coverage area. have not had a problem with either apple or android products not picking up. like the printer port that is accessable my multiple devices wirelessly.

Nice and the salesperson was extremely helpful. Explained several different options. Stated that with as many pieces we have going on this netgear would work great, and it does.

Initially purchased a Linksys router did not work properly. This one has greater range. Also allows me to access all web sites. People at store more knowledgeable about this router

I was looking to upgrade my modem and router and one of the employees suggested this model to replace my router. It's nothing fancy, but had an easy setup and works like a charm.

Worth the money, I have internet with GVEC and the router allows me to use my laptop in the back rooms without any problem. I have five devices on the router and it works great.

Internet was weak in areas of our house. Installed Net Gear router and no more problems with the reception anywhere in the house.

I just started taking college classes, my husband plays video games, and our daughter plays her iPad. The router doesn't work as well as we thought it would. We were renting one from our cable provider and it was so slow. We got a separate modem as well and it still isn't much faster when those three things are logged in. If it is just one thing being used, it is faster, so yes, it was worth it if no one else is on.

House of two with a wife in college and husband who streams Netflix nearly daily. Up to 8 devices being used at a time and this router does great. The app is fantastic also!

I had to upgrade my router when my Cable company increase our internet speed to 60 Mbps. This router was very easy to set up and we now have better coverage throughout our house.

The router was VERY easy to install, and it did not take long to be up and running! The range works for my home, and sometimes we connect about 5 devices at one time. It works!

A powerful router with an extremely far-reaching range, this equipment will adequately extend wifi coverage throughout your house or small business. Would highly recommend.

Awesome speeds. Runs 2 desktops, 2 laptops, 2 ROKUs, a smart TV and 2 - 3 ipads/tables, depending on if my daughter and husband are over. Great connectivity and easy setup.
