Customer Ratings & Reviews

Easy to set up. Works great. Strong signal. Would recommend.

The extender was easy to setup. Downloaded the app recommended and followed the prompts to setup and was a success. Loved that the device kept the same SSID name as current wifi signal and the wifi signal reach the area I was having issues at, so I accomplished in providing wifi to area that was not getting internet access to.

This router is excellent. Great coverage with fast sppeds

Forget 'ease of set-up'. Per instructions, NOTHING CAME UP TO ASSIST in the Netgear Nighthawk App. Took a call to tech support and deliberate walk through (including deleting and re-installing the App-ugh!) Still, set up now. Remains to be seen if it fills spotty reception in adjacent garage. I remain hopeful.... moving on

Easy set up and worked perfectly extending my wifi to the guest Casita 100' away.

Great! Easy to set up, reliable and good range! Good value.

set up was fast and easy its been a few weeks and its been working without any problems the app is also very helpful all in all im happy with it... thank you

Eventually this extender settled down & connections stabilised. Had to completely reset it to stop the 5G from stopping every 24 hours as it wouldn’t recognise a channel change (which is the recommended fix per Netgear! App set up didn’t work so did it using a browser which worked fine. Extra coverage is great so we can now stream in 5G inside and out.

Increased my speed and range. Easy to setup. User friendly and helps diagnose your network in the app.

It did what it was supposed to do but I feel like it lacked everything I needed I have 1gb download and I knew getting that same speed would be impossible but getting only 150mbs sometimes 170mbs was not for me I understand that it is till a fair amount but for what I need no thanks. SETUP: I also have xfinity at first it was complicated but fairly easy to set up when I realised just plug it in then just go to the website on the back of the extender then from there continue but make sure your connected with the extender when doing the setup.

Living in an apartment - constructed as Fire Proof - a signal from the living room to bedrooms was not working! Bought this NetGear Booster and Extender - I now enjoy apartment wide WiFi! Awesome! This works!

good extender easy setup using the netgear app. I was able to link it to my wifi router and extend my wifi to my outbuilding. No issues so far

Excellent! Faster speeds and simple to install! Really enjoy this product

I bought a Netgear router to replace an outdated router we had, since we upgraded our internet. Unfortunately where we live in the country, Spectrum is the only option. The internet was intermittent and slow but after the easy install of my Netgear, my internet speeds are significantly faster and more consistent. I recently purchased a Netgear extender to ensure consistent speed throughout the home as well as additional range for my exterior WIFI security cameras. I have great speeds throughout the entire house, the basement and outside! Highly recommend!

When I first set up the Mesh Extender it worked great but by day 2 it was barely working. After some troubleshooting, I realized I had plugged it into a power strip which I believe was messing with the system after moving it to a wall outlet it has been functioning perfectly and had a blazing fast single throughout my whole house.

The original wi-fi router is located in a basement office. The signal was not sufficient to reach the far end of the house. Adding the EAX20 has improved reception throughout the house and around the yard. The instructions specify the choice location for optimal performance. Installation requires an app downloadable only to a smart phone. Once installed, the setup was automatic and completed within 10 minutes. Yes, the box is rather large and the status lights are bright.

IF you're like me, you prob had a cheap extender and you recently upgraded to WIFI 6. If you were having unstable connection from your extender and your router is working fine. Well you were in the same predicament as me. And this router solved all my issues and actually is pretty dang good. use it for oculus link and its amazing. Please do upgrade if you upgraded to Wifi 6. It'll solve all of your issues

It was easy to set up and could be moved anywhere once setup was completed. Goes network more range and allows you to have 4 nearby wired components for older items like tvs or older blue ray players

Working great to fix the dead zones in my house. Super fast and easy set up.

Installation was easy , worked immediately, we are extremely satisfied
