There are over 20 2.4 Ghz networks that I can see, so wifi on that spectrum sucks for me. After switching to a 5 Ghz network, I'm getting much better speeds. This dongle was a very simple solution and I'm once again getting good network traffic speeds.

The product works perfectly. I bought this to upgrade my internal laptop connection. Now I have full bars of reception. It is a big imprivement on my internet connection and enjoy fast video downstreaming .

We've been having some issues with the signal dropping, but I can't tell if it's our service provider, our router, or the wifi adapter. When it works, the speed is great - 80-100 mbps, double what we used to get. But sometimes it drops to 0 for no good reason, when our other computer (using the 2.4 GHz band) still has connectivity. Also, although the profile is quite small, we still get the adapter caught on things.

I'm living this little thing my computer has a Wi-Fi antenna but I was only getting around 20Mbps or less and after purchasing this bad boy I can hit up to 115Mbps. Cheap option but works perfect. I will be buying a second one for my laptop.

This is exactly what I needed. It is low profile (only sticks out about 1/8" farther than my Logitech mouse receiver. This replaced my internal Intel NIC on my HP laptop which died (I blame Win10). With the smaller size, I think there are range limitations compared to the internal card (which is to be expected).

Installed on a laptop and a desktop. So far both make internet connection much faster.

Easy installation, took about 5 minutes. Extremely user friendly. I am using a brand new Dell 3000 series laptop for video streaming before use was topping out at 60mbps after install my wifi is now running at 250mbps. Very happy with my purchase.

Fast, solid connection.My connection would cut out occsionally, but this was easily fixed by changing the power management settings in device manager

Worked as soon as we put it in our computer to control our wireless printer would recommend to everyone who uses wireless printers or anything that requires a wireless connection.

It should have been tested t be WIN 10 Compatible. I Like Netgear and I would have kept it.

Followed instructions and attached the adapter and worked for the first time. "No more wired".

tried a few for my family and they had ok connections that cut out got them the AC model and this thing has been working like a charm!

we use this on our desktop computer and it works wonderfully. It is on second floor with router on first and we have never had a problem with it staying contected. It is more consistent than our laptops.

This wi-fi adapter works okay for the price, but I wish I spent the few extra dollars and purchased a better adapter. Took 4 tries to install for it to work properly.

I read reviews for a PC that I purchased and I have limited space so I was looking for an alternate to having ethernet cables throughout my room. I came across this item and purchased. So far it works very well. It's in the room with my router and I have had no disconnects thus far. I gave this item 4 stars because upon waking from sleep mode, the device takes quite a while at times to connect to the internet. It connects to the router straight away but from the router to the internet can be very slow. Software is up to date in case you were wondering.
