so far so good. handles my security cameras as well as all the streaming and devices. the range is fine. i like how easy it was to set up and the nighthawk app is very convenient.

Its been over 1yr since i bought it. Let me tell you still works and still doing his job. I have all my devices connected and still have good speed connection, even when i go outside by my garage still have 3bars.

this device was recommended to me by my sister because she has the same one, and has owned it for 3 years now without complaints. i don't know much about these things either but i do know that it's been working perfectly for me as well. my brother has another nighthawk device that he also likes so this brand in general is trustworthy. my brother mentioned that it's usually better to have the router and modem be two separate devices due to overheating problems but i haven't had that issue and my sister who has had it for longer has not encountered that issue either. anyway the speed is pretty fast, going over my 100mbps, as shown on the screenshot attached.

I decided to get this product since I'm moving in an apartment with 4 friends to be my roommates. Between our laptops, smartphones, Smart TVs, wifi printers, Apple TV and echo dot all connecting to the wifi at the same time, we are still getting good upload and download speeds, far exceeding expectations. No regrets in getting this product at all. In fact, I think I got more than I paid for in just mere satisfaction.

This Nighthawk Dual Band is a great replacement for your renting a modem/router from your cable provider. The speed and coverage are good too. You won't go wrong with this one.

Bought to save $14 bucks off my internet bill , and so far so good . Was EZ to install and activate with xfinity , and getting the full 100mbps that I pay for. Very satisfied with the purchase and results and would recommend to anyone looking to save $$$ on their monthly internet bill.

Okay, if you are thinking of buying STOP. Just go ahead and buy, this is the best MODEM I ever purchased. I bought the Motorola 7700 and it kept dropping signal and have to reboot a million times. This never dropped a single signal and i love it. I am getting a nice speed compare to the Motorola

This little router is a beast! It has been able to handle my laptop, 12 security cameras, my gaming console, 2 smart TV’s, my smart thermostat and security system! It’s definitely is good buy!

I was sceptical about this router because it didn't have any external antennas like my old one had but the coverage in my house is excellent. It was very easy to setup and works great!

I received notification from my cable/internet provider that my current modem/router combo was outdated. The NETGEAR Nighthawk modem/router combo was the device purchased as an upgrade, I’m enjoying the upgraded services. My cable/internet provider and NETGEAR both had to be contacted for set up and activation. The process was a little time consuming but all worked out. Hopefully over time the NETGEAR modem/router combo will continue to provide excellent performance.

My internet speed increased significantly because of the additional channels. All of my devices have great internet access throughout the house with any signal boosters. This modem/router has been the best I’ve purchased.

Easy setup instructions! No need for an App. All instructions are clearly stated but a little knowledge understanding what the dual-band router options means...2.4 ghz and 5ghz to have 4 options for WiFi connection options when guest ability is checked. Netgear is fasssst and extended internet through my 5,000 sq ft without needing nodes(WiFi extenders) in the house. Easy WPS button to attach TV’s , Satellite, and PlayStation to at 1 time.

The modem/router was fairly simple to set up and it works very well for me. I live in a single story home and the signal works all around the house which is great. Definitely a worthy upgrade from what I previously had! It’s also nice to have 4 Ethernet ports on the back as well!

With 2 adults working from home since March, our modem/router duo was starting to lag tremendously in the past 3 weeks. It got to the point that one of us was working a couple feet from it, and it still would not connect easily. We were showing up late to meetings, and getting disconnected mid-meeting. I knew I had to order a new modem/router to resolve the issue. After receiving the package, it took about 2 hours to set up with my existing Xfinity account. The Netgear app would not work with this so I had to call in to Xfinity tech support who had to run a bunch of diagnostics over the phone since the lights were solid green for everything except the WiFi. Eventually it began to work and the speed is exceptional. Our old modem was so bad that we needed to buy 2 extenders for a relatively small 2 floor home. We have not reset the WiFi extenders yet but even without them are now able to get WiFi throughout our entire house and backyard. Attached is a picture of a speed test done with our old modem/router last week, compared to our new one.
