Great router for price to enable two or three people to video stream (watch Netflix) at the same time or download and play video games online. We purchased this to replace an outdated modem - it was recommended by a Best Buy employee. It has eliminated excessively long download times and frustrating lags when two or more in the household are video streaming or playing a game. At first we thought we needed to upgrade our service with Suddenlink but this router took care of our problem.

Works all through my house no matter the location. Several people can stream music and video at same time with no lag.

I have the 250mbps with cox, and it works just fine. It's also rated to work with the 500mbps with them, so if I decide to upgrade my plan then I'll already have a capable modem in place. Also with the 4 yr warranty, this saves me at least 4 years of modem fees.

My internet speed was extremely slow. So after calling my ISP and having them come to my house to check things out only to have my speed not change, I decided to look into buying another modem/router combo. I've heard of the Nighthwak routers. I bought this and man has my internet speed increased! I definitely recommend this router combo to increase your speeds without breaking the bank.

The NETGEAR Router Modem was relatively easy to install. Instructions were clear. It replaced the modem from my cable provider. This could eliminate the monthly cost from your cable provider. Remember you need to call your cable provider to FINISH set up and REGISTER your new router. This unit provides a signal that covers a home of 3500 sq ft. Very satisfied.

I bought this router when I decided to switch to Xfinity Internet as I didn't want to pay $11/month for router rental fees. It does everything I need. I can access it remotely for management with the Netgear Genie app. However the app works intermittently and sometimes require a router reboot for access, so using the web browser is the best bet. Also I found that a few 5G Wi-Fi channels are not recommended for use as they offer less than optimal performance. Other than these two hurdles, the router does it's job quite well. In 17months of no rental fees, it will have paid for itself. :)

This is a great combo modem/ router. I had 1 of these before and left it with my ex after a break up. I didn't hesitate to get this same one again. I didn't use this however because after moving into my new place I cut the cable and am using a sureline broadband satellite provider (satellite internet). I couldn't use this because of the cable connection on the unit, I had to get a stand alone router. Best Buy let me trade this in for a new router no problem.

I got this to replace an older Netgear router that stopped working. It was easy to set up and the family was happy to have internet access again.

Let’s be honest, you can never really go wrong with Netgear. This router covers two floors, Hue smart lighting, three Google Home’s, a Ring doorbell, two 4K TVs and a handful of various other smart devices and does it like a champ. Granted WiFi capacity is equal about speed you’re receiving from your provider and the router itself but if you’ve got the capability this is a great option

Works well. Set-up instructions were a bit unclear. Go to your internet provider first to have them "recognize" this device. Once I figured that out, set up was much easier. I like that it has two different channels/modes: one for speed and one for strength. You can sign on to either in connecting, so my wife uses one (speed - she does more streaming) and I use the other. We don't get in each other's way.

Good range, faster than my old router, once in a while when I connect in the morning it'll say no network, but after a minute it works again. Happy with my purchase

Needed to upgrade my 7 year old modem. This is absolutely amazing, great speeds and really easy to set up.

Works great with the Morris Broadband cable system. The range is great and covers all 2400 s.f. and basement.

I bought this item after my Belkin router kept resetting itself. My cable company failed to inform me with the sale bit of info about my service. They failed to let me know that I needed to upgrade my router with more channels. They wanted to charge me monthly to rent there equipment so I went to Best buy and purchased this one and I haven't had any issues yet. It will take some getting used to. Me and my family have numerous electronics devices and this item serves its purpose well!
