I bought this because my old modem was no longer compatible with my provider and I wanted a simple two-in-one solution. I also needed a new router so I thought this would be perfect. It was not. My house is 1400 square feet and this simply did not work as a modem/router combo. The signal would drop every 5 minutes. It was terrible. I hooked it up to a different router I had gotten (and was hoping to return) and it works flawlessly. Had it just been advertised as a modem, I would have zero complaints. Since I was expecting a combo, this really is subpar. Would not recommend if you were trying to 'downsize'

You buy the top off the line and that’s what you get. I bought this 2 years ago , it was a bit double getting it to work to Cox because it was a brand new item and it wasn’t in there system yet, but they helped and in a few hours it was working great. WiFi is strong , having 2 WiFi you can chose from helps. You pay what you get . As with everything. Great item

Works well for new higher speeds and takes up much less space than two devices. Setup was easy

Performance is very much better than previous router. It is nice, small, and compact. I would buy it again. It has speeded up all my devices, plus I am not always having to go back and disconnect and reconnect to get my internet going again. It was an excellent purchase for the cost.

Easy to set-up. Has good speed and able to connect 5+ devices simultaneously without any issue.

Easy setup and great speed/range. Only downfall is that there is no QoS settings to prioritize traffic; especially on the guest network.

I was a little hesistant to buy a combo, but the sales associate highly recommended this one and I'm glad he did. It has worked flawlessly for several months now and the combo means fewer cords and devices cluttering up the room. I don't know if it would be sufficient for a heavy use household, but for a home where there are typically no more than two or three devices being used at once it works great.

It was easy to install and has improved my internet speed.

I bought this modem to supplement my Comcast Gateway (combination wireless router & cable modem). Unfortunately, I later learned you cannot have two wireless modems running at the same time (if they are both connected directly to your coaxial cable) unless you pay for two Internet subscriptions (this was not what I was told by the technical help desk). The Router works great, way better than the Comcast Gateway, and the single strength is very good. I just wish you could plug a telephone into it so I could completely return my Comcast equipment.

I love this modem router it has a good range and speed is good. I have TWC cable connection.

The range is great for the whole house, it is fast, and I have never had to reset it.

It was on sale. I decided to go for it to replace my rental unit from Cox. It was the best decision. I couldn't be happier. Easy to setup. DL application and customized to my needs was a breeze. Connection speed is faster too.

The Nighthawk AC1900 router is perfect for what I need. I have 3 gaming consoles, 2 laptops, 2 computers, 3 tablets, 3 phones, a Blu-ray player, and a 3D TV running on the Comcast combo router and was lagging so bad. This combo router takes on everything I have with no problems.

Noticeable difference in speed. Can't remember the last time we had any problems connecting.

Easy to set-up and configure. Updates are automatic so no worries about what version do I have vs what version should I have. Like the Dual band and having a separate Guest network. Have not had any issues with upstream or down stream bandwidth and the wireless reaches all over the 1300 sqft house and then some (Driveway). No problems with using steaming services.

I was getting horrible speeds of only 6 mbps with the router i was renting from comcast. nothing they suggested was helping so i decided to go buy my own router. Plugged this in and instantly my speeds were over 100 mbps. Could not have been easier. everyone in my house is much happier with our internet service because of this router.
