Great addition to home network!

Not only has the signal quality and range increased in my house, I am also getting faster speeds than I've ever gotten from the xfinity hardware. Regularly getting 125Mbps down and 30Mbps wirelessly on my iPhone and other devices. Highly recommended if you have cable internet at your house.

We set it at the high frequency rage to begin with. At first, the signal was not strong. A cal to Netgear tech support went smoothly. He had us go the the lower range. He indicated that the signal would not have the same range but it would be stronger. We rest it with his help and after that, everything was fine.

Still needed a separate router.....

I also needed a new router so I thought this would be perfect. It was not. My house is 1400 square feet and this simply did not work as a modem/router combo. The signal would drop every 5 minutes. It was terrible. I hooked it up to a different router I had gotten (and was hoping to return) and it works flawlessly. Had it just been advertised as a modem, I would have zero complaints. Since I was expecting a combo, this really is subpar. Would not recommend if you were trying to 'downsize'

This modem / router works GREAT! I bought it so I would not have an additional monthly fee on my bill and am very pleased. I have had it since January and it is working as intended. I strongly recommend this product.

It’s has been working great until recently I have seen a couple of times so far that kind of restarted itself! Could be a power issue and not the router itself though. The speed has been been great, and we have about 10-11 devices spread over 2.4G and 5G band and no problem at all. I have always trusted Netgear over any other company and it has not disappointed me ever.
