This router/modem is easy to set up and works well

I got this router to use on Comcast when my last router died on me. The connection has been great and I have not had any disconnects. The genie app is great! You can see who is connected to what band and can pause service to the devices individually. I recommend this router for anyone on Comcast trying to save a buck and cover a medium size home with decent control options.

Easy setup. Wifi great even outside on patio. Very fast. Streaming is great, no lag.

Although setup was a pain (due to service provider) once we finally got it up and running we are actually getting the internet service we pay for. DO NOT use the “rental” modems/routers they offer because you’ll never get the speed you’re paying for. This does work with Suddenlink for anyone looking for one for that provider

We had an ancient router that finally gave out. Ordered for pickup and installed it in a matter of hours. Immediately noticed an improvement in accessibility and speed and the 5 GHz is working fine upstairs with the router in the basement...unlike the old router. Downloads, game play, and movie streaming have vastly improved.

The King of the Internet!!!!! I am 67 years old, have been around since the first version of MS Windows. it was 1.0a but did not work. About 2 months later 3.1a which actually worked. I have been using NETGEAR since then. It helped me build bulletin boards etc. for customers to download updates to the remote control software to communicate PC to PC with a simple internet, phone, ISP connection. NETGEAR has been a part of this revelation of remote desktop/remote control. Triton Technology Iselin, NJ. The AC1900 is probably The Best Router I have used. It is super fast. easy to set up and it beats paying $10.00 /month for Xfinity cable modem.

Set up was easy and quick. Signal is strong for my entire patio home and yard areas.

Purchased for access to Xfinity. Has been working for almost 2 months without a single glitch. Same could not be said for my last router/modem which required a reboot every few days. I always recommend researching and changing many of the factory settings to ensure the best possible security for your router/modem, network and connected devices.

Almost 2 years later and this router is still the best I've ever owned. Good speeds despite 4K and numerous devices on at the same time. My only pet peeve is the lights on and blinking. I cut and placed a black magazine cover over the lights to not distract me when online at night. Other than that, I highly recommend this product.
