After researching extensively for a router and modem to replace the Comcast monthly equipment rental with Comcast. I also purchased an Arris Surfboad modem and hi-def antenna for local channels in the Sacramento Area. I cut the chord with Comcast. Their monthly charges were excessive and approaching ridiculous, but I did retain the high speed internet. I no longer experience internet problems with this router. It works excellently, and I would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a new router.

I purchased this to use instead of the Verizon quantum gateway router. This works so much better and he range on this thing is awesome. Just remember to set up as router so that you have access to all the features it brings

This unit offers excellent range. Internet loads quickly. Great for streaming with little to no buffering.

First off the guy that helped me recommended this model for my needs.. very knowledgeable and friendly ( customer service alone gets 5 stars!!) My previous router was over 7 years old I was constantly losing connectivity and having to reset . Setting the NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC2300 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 Router up was easy & in no time I was streaming HD programming on multiple devices with no issues life is good again.!! Thanks Best Buy

We waited a long time for Green Lights high speed fiber system to reach our neighborhood. Once it was available, the question was what kind of router would work best given Green Light's speed. The Nighthawk AC2300 was recommended by a number of sources and it has lived up to its reputation regarding coverage (we have a 1,400 sq ft ranch style home), and speed (up to 2300 Mbps) . Great product at great price.

The Nighthawk Wifi router R7000P-100NAS is a bit pricey than the regular WiFi routers out there. You will need a modem to connect it to the internet. Setting up this product was a breeze and the mobile app makes it easy to secure. I am new into the hi-speed internet arena but so far I like the coverage. Considering there are a lot of routers around me, I haven't experienced a drop in the signals even outside my home.

This router was a much needed upgrade from my old hardware. I saw huge speed improvements in areas of my home that were normally dead spots. I've been able to consistently keep download speeds of around 200mb with 15 or more devices on my network. There were some setup hiccups but once those were all resolved everything has been good. I'll keep using and see if this holds up.

Bought this to replace an Orbi Mesh that kept dropping for no apparent reason. I'm glad I did! This Nighthawk is way, WAY, more reliable! My wireless home network is SO STRONG, we catch the signal at the farthest corner of a second story bedroom that's at least 40 feet away from the actual router itself! Great product! Best purchase I've made from Best Buy this year! No regrets!

Highly recommend, very pleased. After using Comcast's rental for years, finally wiser up & bought my own router/modem. I immediately saw increased download/upload speed, should have made the switch sooner.

I have really like the AC3200, Tri-Band feature. I have Gig speed and this router has outperformed all others I have had. Love being able to use the Netgear Genie App with it to manage my WiFi and router.

What? Routers you say, you need one... cause your other one you have been using every day and every night, needs to be reset one to many times. The Company of the old model decided to stop running updates and now this forgotten, hidden staple product is saying goodbye. Now you have to go and do research and pretend like you know what your looking for. Going to the store and asking for recommendations seems like the easier route. But it seems like you are trusting that they totally know what you really need. Welp, it’s not fun. But it’s a necessary purchase if you want to extend that data, and WiFi to the rest of your house. The problem is, you haven’t purchased one in a long time.. so the price seems kinda high, and the technical upgrades that each device has, just makes you want to give up and go back to dial-up. Jk I picked this one.. not sure why, because I can’t remember, and I don’t care. It works. Easy to set up, with a computer. Lines are good, WiFi all good. You can download an app on your phone, and review each item that is using the internet. Bonus: You can restrict devices from WiFi whenever you want. Set up its own separate WiFi password. The design teams need to just relax, and just make a black box with 1 good antenna.. it’s not a display piece.. it’s supposed to be a, “See you next year, when I need to constantly reset you, design” Just buy this one. And move on with your life. This review, will self destruct in 4 more months, because this product will be out of date, just cause.

Wow, this is a definite improvement over my last router. The range is excellent and the price was pretty decent too. Like most folks I now have a number of Wi-Fi enabled appliances, cameras, TV's, tablets/phones, thermostats and they had no trouble communicating/streaming at the same time - no decrease in signal. I've yet to encounter buffering as opposed to my previous router.
