The key features of this WiFi are blazing fast speeds and great coverage. I find the speeds and ability to get those speeds from the she-shed to the man-cave and every room in between to be deserving of a 5-star review. I upgraded to this device because my tri-band AC-series router and range extender were delivery just a fraction of my modem's speed to the house over WiFi. Upgrading the an AX means I'm getting 80% or more of my advertised ISP speed at every location in my house, and the throughput is high enough that I've hopefully built in some future-proofing as more devices are added to my homenetwork and the ISP eventually increases the max speed offered again.
I did find there to be a couple drawbacks that should be noted: (1) The App: It made it very easy to setup the mesh network but its extremely limited in its configuration of your network. There were a few settings that I needed to access 192.168.1.1 from a computer to get done, the problem is Netgear keeps telling you its better to use the app the entire time you're trying to get logged in to the admin and while you're logged in. Example setting includes setting a static IP for my dinosaur printer.
(2) I didn't find the out of the box setup to be as fast as I had hoped. My speeds didn't start maxing out until two days after my initial setup and I was fretting I wasted $$ on a pricier internet solution that didn't help. In those two days I disabled Armour and enabled QoS. No gurantees that those made all the difference but I did see immediate gains after both changes.

Huge upgrade from our old router, Netgear R6220

Works great for our 1 gig internet connection. Easy setup and a huge improvement over the basic Netgear R6220 that came with our service from our ISP. Running both satellites with a wired ethernet back haul. We are no longer experiencing any video buffering, lag, or slowness (as we did with the Netgear R6220) when everyone is online and streaming 4K Movies or video content. Definitely notice a better WiFi coverage and speed in our 5k sq ft home.

The NightHawk WiFi 6 Mesh System has been a game-changer for my home network. Setup was quick and easy with the intuitive app. The performance is outstanding, providing fast and reliable WiFi throughout my entire house, even in previously problematic areas. Streaming, gaming, and working from home are all seamless now. Highly recommend it for anyone needing better coverage and speed!

Best router ever

This router is better than any other router I have owned and I have upgraded routers regularly at 3 sites. The big house required repeaters or slaved routers with problems with security and connectivity. This system is truly plug and play. I have one of the satellites in the upstairs floor and the second in the basement which has always been hard to reach. Streaming was difficult on a good day even with a second router which I used as a stop gap for a while. Setup was the easiest ever and what can I say? It worked flawlessly without any tweaking. The best part was that the hp printer, the apple computers, the iphones and adroids and PCs all talked to each other without having to fool with having to select 2G or 5G for the finnicky products with resultant failure to communicate which was frustrating before and now no problems at all. I can stream multiple devices and two family members work from home on video conferencing all day. Again no problems at all. I would recommend this product for anyone who has a large area and multiple floors.

Really simple to set up, coverage is great. I have the satellites connected to the main hub via Cat6. Everything works great, no gators in coverage. High speed in every corner of my 2.5 acres of property. I have blanketed with Wi-Fi now. Where are my and I have almost full bars of coverage. I'll use gigabit internet, and I am getting gigabit download speeds over Wi-Fi. I have several cameras and IoT things, I would say I have 70 connected devices and everything works. Flawless

After having issues with our ASUS system I decided to go back to Netgear after several years. This system is extremely easy to set up. Almost too easy. It took me all of 10 mins to set up all 3 boxes. Far easier than the last ASUS system I returned after many problems. The app is solid but I gave this system 4 stars as you have to pay extra for parental controls and another extra payment for added security. Not what you would think for a $300 mesh system. ASUS was easy to monitor which items were using the system based on activity. This system isn't that friendly and requires the extra payment and sifting through the app. Overall a great and easy system and speeds are fantastic but having to pay extra for some things that should be included isn't ideal.

I had an Orbi RBR40 that could no longer handle the number of devices I had on it (35) so it was time to move up. My Best Buy had sold out of the newer Orbi so I decided to try out the Netgear AX 3600 that had just come out. Wow was I glad I did that! I'm now up to 48 devices on it with no problem. It was easy to set up and with the Armor security on the router and Bitdefender on all of my devices it is real secure. At half the price of the comparable Orbi router this is a steal, plus the speeds are way better than my old Orbi. Their customer service is also great. I had to transfer my Armor account and they did it, adding nearly a year on to the 6 months I got with the purchase! Bottom line, you cant go wrong with this baby!

I purchased this Mesh setup after having areas at home where I would constantly lose WiFi connection. I was surprised after having opened the packaging that there was more to this system than I previously thought. Aside of improving WiFi coverage, each router is also equipped with LAN ports, for devices I prefer to connect via Ethernet. Installation was easy. Since I had already a Netgear cable modem I was able to set up using the App. All WiFi dead zones are no more and I am now able to connect several feet past my entire property line. The system was more than I was expecting to spend but the performance and security has left me with absolutely no regrets! Best investment w/has surpassed my expectations. Problem solved!

Bought the nighthawk mesh system after moving into a two story unit and needing reliable, fast internet throughout the unit. This did not disappoint! This system covers all four bedrooms and front and back patio with ease. I have yet to find a dead spot. It was super important to have dependable WIFI as two of my roommates work from home. Set up only took a few minutes and has worked perfectly.

Upgraded from an orbi rbr20 setup and the night hawk with wifi6 tri band is awesome. I have a few wifi 6 devices and the difference in speed is amazing. The distance you can put the satellites is pretty good too. I put one in my seperate workshop which was a good 100ft from the house and no issues with connectivity. Where as with the orbi connection was spotty at best. I was surprised I was able to get this at BB too as the netgear website had it listed for pre orders still.

Works great. Best home wifi speed and coverage I've had.
The app to setup is fine. I can uninstall it later.
Setting up reserved IPs and port forwarding works just fine over web interface. I panicked a bit after setup when I moved my satellites to their permanent location farther away from the base, and got amber LEDs, but that seems to be normal and lasts a minute before the OK color of blue is seen.
Note: if you blast a lot of data it can disrupt other wireless devices like my ActionTec wireless HDMI receiver which is 12' away from a satellite.

This system was very easy to install with the app and has improved the WiFi coverage and speed. When checking the download speed from my internet provider of reported 300 mps, it is consistently around 290-300 mps. So far, no issues and performance is excellent.

It was delightfully simple to install and configure the entire network, in parallel with the wireless network (cable-based) that we are replacing (fiber-optic). The performance is outstanding, letting us take full advantage of the much higher speed (2.5X) to which we're upgrading.

This unit goes down often. It works well when it works but is not that simple to use. I have added multiple satellites for a large home and guest home. In total I have 6 satellites including the router.
I have had to replace the router twice. Anytime there is any type of rain or thunderstorm the router fails. Sometimes it can simply be unplugged and plugged back in and it works. Other times it has just failed entirely. Thank fully I am a member in the total tech and they have replaced a few times, however, even with the replacement, its such a pain to have to reset-up the entire mesh network.
You have to setup the network in the app to connect satellites. If you have the replace the router, you will need to rename the system completely different as the app doesn't know how to tell the difference between the old router and new one causing an error.
Problem with this is when you have another 50 devices connected to the wifi, you have to reconfigure all those as well.
The system works well when there are no storms and is easy to setup on the initial basis, however, if anything fails, it will be a pain to work with.

A great mesh system with a few quirks. Sometimes, certain devices seem to lose sight of the WiFi signal, even while other nearby devices have no issues. Just a minor issue.
Signal strength and performance are excellent. I live in a two bedroom one floor apartment and the main unit is all I need for great WiFi coverage throughout the entire apartment.

Purchased this because we wanted to reach our WiFi a little farther than our cable modem allowed. WOW!! Not only do we have WiFi EVERYWHERE now; we never lose signal, our cameras and other devices are always connected and I’m getting speeds in the 700Mbps! I was barely getting 100 with my other modem. I highly recommend this system!

Ok hear me out. If you're a gamer, streamer, content creator. This is a MUST! I went from just gaming and playing with a 40-50 sometimes higher ping here in Los Angeles even with Fiber Optic 1g up/down internet. This mesh system allowed me to dedicate different wifi loads to different zones and man! What a difference! I can play westcoast servers on ANYTHINGS and I'm running no more than a 8-10 ping on any game. Such a different. I get comments on a regular stating I'm inside the server rooms lol. Well worth the upgrade. Also, these things have a MASSIVE range. I can get internet to my phone over 150ft down the street.
