After a week of use I could not be happier. Having had dead zones when using the Nighthawk R8000 I really wanted a mesh. Setup was extremely easy, although you are forced into using the Nighthawk app for initial setup. I was used to the app having previously used Netgear Nighthawk products. I pay for 1 gig down and went from max 400mbps to 900 at the router. The dead zones which now have a satellite are getting 400-500mbps down. I have not had any problems to this point.

Not only is this one of the strongest and easiest wifi setups I have encountered, but it also is incredibly secure. Imagine my surprise when upon installation it automatically scans your network for vulnerabilities and informs you of them. That’s not bad at all. Combined with netgears years of expertise with j building consumer grade wifi, this is easily the Best Buy if you are looking to move to mesh and or wifi 6. Also, it comes with wifi6!!

After my old router just decided to quit working, I needed to find a new solution to my router needs. I had to use my smart phone to search for a new router. After doing my research I decided that the Netgear Nighthawk was the best router for my needs. I decided to go with a Mesh router, since I was having some signal strength issues. I purchased the router from my local Best Buy store. The install was very easy and straight forward. I did have a question about one of the more complicated settings which I tired to use and call the support number. I was able to speak to a support representative and he was able to get me back on track. Thank You Netgear

I absolutly love this system. Better security can be purchased for it that includes unlimited installation of bitdefender on your network called Netgear Armor. Parental controls are spot on however it costs extra to get the full features of the parental controls. Thw nigthawk app is glitchy and tempermental at best. In the app you can access the router config from anywhere on any network. Highly recommend.

Cant believe it took me this long to buy this thing, by far one of my favorite purchases in a while. so much better than a wifi extender, would recommend this a million times over. worth. every. penny! and the fact that I can hard wire my consoles to this device makes it 10x better.

I am in a 3000 sq ft home. Ground floor and finished basement. Signal covers it all very well. On 900Mbps internet, worst I get is 400Mbps in specific spots, before tweaking location. Software and app is good. The repeaters come with 2 ethernet ports, which is nice extra touch. Devices will look great anywhere in the home, blends in well. Excellent job - would recommend over Google WiFi I had before this.

The Nighthawk Mesh system was easy to set up and has been excellent since I installed. Better than the service provider's router and allowed additional hardwire connection for pre-wired TV. Everything I needed...

We were having serious issues with atayong connected during the day using the WOW supplied Eero wifi system. After upgrading to this we are able to sray connected all day in our 3000 sf home, getting over 100mbs per second in every corner. Best decision I could have made to keep the wife and I online and qorking all day, and the kids on ipads and xbox after school.

Purchased this Mesh Wi-Fi system to upgrade from the Nighthawk MK63. The system was easy to setup and I was glad my old MS60 satellites were able to be used with the mesh network allowing me to have one router and 4 satellites. The problem I found however, was the speed would decrease to nearly nothing nearly every 24 hours. Wi-fi would be great, we stream, we game, browse the web. Wake up the next day and suddenly can't stream and sites are struggling to load. The results from Speedtest.net showed we were 2Mbs when we were at 800Mbs+ the night before. Rebooting the router would resolve the issue, but I wasn't willing to have to reboot the system daily or as needed just to keep the speed running consistently. So I returned the Nighthawk system and ultimately replaced my older Nighthawk mesh with another brand entirely.

    Frustrating setup process

Setting up this mesh system didn't go very smoothly for me; but after the fact, it seems to be working decently. The first issue was actually my fault, I assumed that the three devices in this system were identical, and later realized that there was one router and two satellites, and I had a satellite connected to my modem instead of the router which was the last device that I still had in the box. Once I had that resolved, the Nighthawk app kept saying the router wasn't detected even though I was literally connected to the access point it created, and afterwards it only detected one out of the two satellites. After some restarting of the modem and the mesh, everything is up and running. Despite the setup problems, it only took about thirty minutes. It could have been faster; but I've had much worse experiences with other routers, so I don't think this is too bad. Everything seems to be running smoothly so far, and my devices are actually connecting to the correct meshes and using the correct bands unlike with my previous Google Wifi setup where they would connect to the farthest possible mesh on the 2.4GHz band instead of the mesh that's literally in the same room with the 5GHz band. I'm not too impressed with the app. There are the basic things like looking at connected devices, pausing the wifi and enabling guest wifi; but it'd be nice to have the more advanced settings here like port forwarding.

Easy setup, love having 2 extra ethernet ports on each satellite. I live in 6000 sq ft home and this has provided me with amazing coverage throughout the house. No signal drops anywhere. The units themselves also look very nice and easily blend in with my other electronics.
