I get speeds advertised by ISP throughout my whole home now. Way better than the speeds and more coverage than on the router provided by the ISP.

Took a little while to setup but to be fair, we were also moving into a new house and had a million distractions. We needed to have a solid signal to our home office node where our ring central phone also needs a wired connection. This system has a wired adapter at each node and we have had no problems with our voip setup. My PC's at the opposite side of the house from our internet entry also aren't setup for wireless (OK they could be but that's one extra step). I just attached an internet switch to the nighthawk node and we were good to go. So far so good. I also need to setup a new office with some distance between my internet entry and different computers and this mesh system should do the trick.

Love the diversity. Locations around a cement block house have not been an issue. PC and PS5 gaming is on point. Highly suggest getting for large house.

Easy set up and configuration. Good coverage across the house & outside. Units are easy to conceal, but also have an attractive appearance if you want them in view. Speed has stayed consistent & signal strong. Not sure how I feel about the extra subscriptions Nighthawk offered, although it's been useful getting notifications when new devices are connecting to the network. I don't use parental controls, so can't say much about them.

I love my mesh system. I've had the nighthawk mesh system before. I have a 25000 square foot lot and with how i have my mesh system place around my home I can hit every area of my property with wi-fi.

Really makes the most of your subscribed internet speeds. Getting this tri band mesh router, opposed to dual band, has been a great investment. Coverage is consistent and fast across our fairly large home.

Wow … what a difference. I had a nighthawk and this was an upgrade system. Set up was pretty darn simple. The app made it very easy. I have a 2 bedroom apartment and I like it that the satellites have Ethernet ports. I like to hardwire as much as I can. The difference can be seen when the multiple devices are in use. Barely and lag and less buffering than my old unit.

We recently moved into a new house with a lot of square footage. It is a sprawling house with two wings, and the internet comes in on the upper level of the house. We set the Nighthawk up in 3 rooms -- the room where the internet comes in, a room in the center of the house, and a room at the other end. The wifi coverage is absolutely perfect everywhere in the house! Additionally, it was extremely easy to set ups -- no expertise needed!

Bought this for my house, which is about 3000 sqft. I never get disconnected no matter where I am in the house, even when I’m outside. I get about 30 mbps download and 10 mbps upload, but those speeds are due to my ISP, not the router. Setup was very easy, and the app is very user-friendly while still allowing for the advanced features used by more experienced users. Very happy with the product, and for me, the price tag is completely justifiable.

So far not too impressed. The app is a mess, super clunky, very basic, and half of the controls dont even work. I enabled QoS and when you pick a device to edit its priority it brings up the wrong device. THEN when you save an edit it doesnt save. That is all off of my pc. The app on my phone always shows offline, doesnt show the proper connrcted devices, or if it does show a device it always shows it offline. After setup I had trouble getting my satellites to connect. So far, now that I have everything finally set up, it seems to be working. But the software for these is near unusable in the state that its in. I do have coverage in my 3200sq ft house and my barn outside now so Im happy about that. If they could get the software fixed up Id rate a 5 star. As long as everything stays connected but Ill be honest Im not exactly confident in that just yet. Until they get the software patched I just cant recommend this product

Very happy with our first mesh system. I get consistently high speeds with several devices connected. Activities include streaming, gaming, browsing, and remote work. We no longer have weak or dead zones throughout the house. Just be sure not to place nodes too close together. Had an issue with brief interruptions on devices located between the main router and a satellite. Moved the satellite and issues were resolved.

    Netgear Nighthawk Working Great

Installed the Netgear Nighthawk MK83 3-pack last week, which was delivered on time by BestBuy. Took at most 1.5hours from start to finish to install. It is doing a great job of providing fast, consistent WiFi6 coverage in our 2,800ft home, plus outdoor areas as well. Have some devices hard-wired into the Netgear units via the provided Ethernet ports on the back of the units. The Nighthawk connected right away to all of our desktops, iPhones, iPads, security cameras, VOIP devices and WiFi-based thermostats. Our previous WiFI system + extender left poor coverage and dead spots. Also working good is the iOS app on my iPhone and iPad. Would highly recommend!!

I had the eero before these and when they decided not to work anymore i bought these. They work just as well if not better than the eero mesh routers. They have a further range than the eeros though.

I’ve had this for about a week. Setup had to be done manually because scanning the code wouldn’t find the router. Updating the firmware to V1.1.6.4 brakes the network map on the app. Running V1.1.5.4 when viewing the network map and clicking the router or one of the satellites, it will show you what device is connected to each. With the option to pause the wifi connection to each device separately. But while running V1.1.5.4. The router would somehow loose the 5G and everything ends up connecting to the 2G only. Rebooting the system fixes that issue. I don’t mind rebooting once in a while. But I do mind loosing the app’ network map functionality after updating to 1.1.6.4. So I’m going to keep it in the V1.1.5.4 until netgear fixes that issue. The problem with the network map on 1.1.6.4 is probably the fact that from this version they added paid parental controls.
