Good modem but better performance and speed with orbi

Just picked this set up. I did have Google Wifi, but it had started to slow down recently. Also it could not keep up with the 1Gig FIOS network, so I figured it was time to upgrade. The internal network is very fast - I get approx 300mbps on an iPhone near the units. The setup was a bit confusing, it had me set up twice and kept asking me to scan the QR code on the unit. However after a bit it did get set up and recognized all the devices, the other nodes, and the internet connection. One thing that is good - you can still manage the network while your internet connection is down. That was a big failing of the Google Wifi - you need a connection to Google to manage it! One user complained that Netgear wants you to download an app to your phone to manage it, but I find that handy. I don't always have access to a laptop, and web interfaces can be clunky. That said, the more advanced features like DNS settings etc are only available via the web interface. So for most users the phone app is fine. One thing I'll say is it is a bit expensive, but hopefully I won't need to replace this for years.

Good performance but when it goes out in a power surge or something you better be prepared to spend hours online with tech support. And, you better buy a premium support plan.

OUTSTANDING is the best description, strong signal, easy to install, and secure!

I moved my home office to the corner of the basement and saw a significant drop in speed. The Nighthawk mesh works awesome — I haven’t even seen buffering on our TV since installing this. It was easy to set up and i felt like it was a better deal than the Google mesh or Netgear options

I have a large yard and was having trouble with wifi range, not anymore with these satellites. The range for me is a lot further than before and we are very happy with our purchase.

Great product. Easy to set up and perfect coverage

Simply the BEST! I was surprised and the coverage with only one terminal! Ummm..not that I have two more to play around and to see what's the best coverage, you can bet I will survey my home. I have been happy with NETGEAR and their product, this is their 2nd product in which I have purchased, been impressed & will continue to use their product.

My AT&T router would drop wireless connection in the house 6 or 8 times a day. AT&T replaced it and we had the same issue. I bought this nighthawk mesh system, put the AT&T router in pass through mode and the setup seemed almost automagic on the Netgear system. It’s been running for about 10 days without a single hiccup and I have more than complete coverage in the house and patio.

Easy setup and I didn't have any problem setting up specific notifications for alerting me when someone was logging into the network. I have this set up in a small business and it's a huge improvement over the previous CISCO wireless unit as it was far less expensive and easier to manage.

Great Range, Easy to setup, and parental controls are very nice.

The Netgear Nighthawk AX3600 Tri-Band Wifi 6 Mesh System was very easy to set up, the range and performance are great.

This device was an easy instal and setup using the Nighthawk app. After instalation, I was getting wifi everywhere with no droppage. I tested the satellites with the LAN-wired connections and have been amazed at how they work. This was ine of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. These are a must in any large-sized house or property.

Bought this to replace my tp link deco xe75’s. (Connection issues were present and support wasn’t good). These were perfect. I haven’t hit any connection issues that wouldn’t be fixed with a simple restart, and the app gives me the opportunity to restart the device straight from my phone. Overall I am very happy with it

First of all, love the recycling program of network gear. I have to say that this was one of the most easiest setups for a network mesh. Granted, I have not setup any other one. Works like the product description says. Overall, great product.

Really nice! Super fast! Great coverage for my entire home.

This product has expanded my WiFi connectivity tremendously as I can now play competitive gaming upstairs and my original router is upstairs. It allows me to have the speeds of direct Ethernet connected with out the hassle of a 100ft. Cable. Highly recommended

Signal drops too much, I have to constantly reset my router, I can’t choose which bands to put my electronics on like I could with my past router… the app sucks, this is just overpriced
