I replaced an older router that was paired to a repeater. I was not always able to get a strong signal one floor away from my upstairs unit. In additon, the old one had to be reset repeatedly. The Nighthawk gives a strong signal all over the house and has not needed to be reset once. I've been very pleased and would recommend.

Other than the unit being large, you can't beat how good the signal is from a long distance while going through walls. Has a lot of features and very good speeds. Very easy to set up and I have had no problems at all.

The router was easy enough to set up. Netgear offers a companion app which is helpful in tracking connections, and setting up a guest network. Minus one star only because the steps to share a wired printer connected directly to the router are unclear, however it was easy enough to share on the network to all devices when connected directly to a computer.

Easy install bought this router along with a new cable modem because the one provided my brighthouse would crash several times a day. router works great. Love the dual Band which allows me to run my business computer on a different network than my teenage kids.

Set up is easy, connects quickly & very nice speed.

I purchased this router initially because I thought my router had stopped working properly. I read plenty of reviews on other sites and decided to buy locally from best buy(because I needed an internet connection for work sooner than later). The router worked flawlessly and had plenty of feedback for the average user. It was very easy to set up for those less experienced in the setup process and had plenty of advanced options for those that know what they're doing. My only Cons would be that the router itself is quite bulky. Looks cool but it was much bigger than my previous. Also, the LED indicators were surprisingly bright. I would see them getting annoying for some people.

Absolutely excellent router, strong signal that covers the whole apartment hasn't dropped or had an issue once since purchase 3 months ago. Highly recommended for multiple device use, we have around 12 devices connected to ours at any one time with zero issues. Built in QoS works perfectly also.

Works fast and does great with gaming and Netflix.

We used Spectrum modem and we kept loosing connection several times a day, then I read a comment on community fb page about purchasing our own modem router. First I tested speed on Spectrum modem: outside/next to the modem/ end of house and the results were 8/46/9, then I installed this one and the results were 100/113/99, huge difference and I didn’t loose connection not even once since installing this one little over a month ago!

I have quite of bit devices running on this thing! Piggy backed off the Xfinity modem, it has very good range. I was just trying this out before I tried a full overhaul to the Xfinity modem. (Not a big fan of their service, but it's the only service that is provided) easy setup, follow the instructions...boom fast Internet!

It took me a while to make my decision on the router but I finally decided to go with the net gear nighthawk. It has been working flawlessly and covers all areas of my home. I have around 8 devices hooked up to this and all work just fine. Go with this router even though the price is high, you get what you pay for.

Bought this to accommodate at least 8 devices for my 60mbps internet speeds and this brought us up to great speed. You won't reach 60 over wifi, but the wireless speed get up to about 40 and is as fast as you need it to be. Wired speeds are great when connected to the tv or any other wired device. Well worth the price!

Excellent router. No drops and no dead zones in my house. Easy to install and connect. Even on sale @ $188.99 its a little overpriced. The performance is great.

I have Xfinity 75mb down internet speed but never received those speeds on my old wireless router. It was maxing out at 20mb down. I bought this and boom - 75mb sometimes 85mb down wireless. Highly recommended if you have an internet plan over 20mb.
