If you just want a great router with range that’s easy to use this is it. Smart Connect allows the Night Hawk to determine which band width is best for each device. 2.9Ghz and 2 5Ghz allows for more devices. Using the Night Hawk app you can easily cut the internet access to any device on the network from anywhere. If want to get technical there’s a ton of functions for more advanced settings. We moved from Spectrum Modem/Router to Spectrum Modem Night Hawk Router and got the range I needed.

This thing is awesome! I have had for almost 3 years and it is as great as the day I got it. Easy set-up, great range, great speed!

This router is by far the best electronics purchase I have made this year. It has given my SMART TV more power to explore more apps while staying speedily connected to the rest of the household's devices. There's no question as to which you should buy; this one is it!

Upgraded with a faster modem recently where I was only getting 33Mbps before at the router, now up to 113Mbps and i’m Only paying for 100Mbps. Had to reboot a few times and installed the new firmware and the iOS app on my phone, which lets me see all 13 devices I have and which is drawing the most bandwidth. The furthest room in my house before kept dropping the signal, but now still gets 90+Mbps with no drops at all. Online FPS on my PS4 while streaming Netflix on multiple devices is no problem at all. It was a great deal during the holiday!

Stop thinking about wether you should buy it or not Just buy it!! this router is amazing ! I don't experience any lag what so ever! If you have a Xbox one or ps4 you won't have any lag with this router !

Replaced my old WNDR4000 with this beast and it definitely is a vast improvement! It covers the whole house and is situated in our basement in the same spot that the old one sat. It seems to carry the signal faster too with no buffering on Youtube or Netflix etc.

WE used this to replace a modem/router from out ISP. The range is much better, and the speed also seems better for our mix of phones and computers. Video is much better. The set-up questions seemed to be a little difficult, but when I answered one of them "wrong" after reaching an impasse, all went smoothly. After NetGear's recent issues with security, I am very pleased to see that the router automatically updates. I am very pleased with this purchase. Although not a gamer, I did want to get something more on the cutting edge so I do not have to replace soon..

So I have a one bedroom apartment I live in. However I'm really picky with my internet and it's stable speed because of the wall separating my bedroom and the living room (were the router is located). Set up semi easy but if you put time into it you can cater the settings to your liking and the software is pretty thorough. Range is awesome! I have had wifi signal all the way to my parking spot that's roughly 200 feet away. All in all with all my hard wired tech and wireless devices connected to this router. None have any problems at all to connect which is pretty cool!

Don’t have a huge home by any means, only about 1,500 square feet and this covers every inch. Really enjoying having WiFi everywhere, especially on the second floor where we just put a smart tv which couldn’t pull WiFi from my old router.

Made my smart TV work like a charm. TV is about 50 feet from my office/ computer setup. Comcast Arris router would not reach with enough signal strength to run the apps, so I got the best router I could find, the NETGEAR R8000. You won't be sorry with this one!

I needed a good router that I could manage myself without a lot of IT people involved I found this router to be unbelievably easy to set up and packed with features that were easy to understand and set up

Although this router is pricey, it definitely is nice if you stream media. Flawless setup. Solid product. I have always been a user of Netgear products and this one has achieved greatness in my opinion

This Nighthawk X6 was perfect for our house. Didn't realize how many different devices we actually had. Without this Nighthawk, we wouldn't be able to use them all. Spendy, yes, but worth every penny!

I know it's tough trying to buy the best router but this is the number one! This router is amazing! You will not be dissapointed... I have sooo many people using wifi, playing on phones, tablets, computers, and much more... trust me on this! GET THIS PRODUCT!!!

The Netgear Nighthawk X6 R8000 is a very fast router. It is bigger than other routers in it's class, so it takes up a bit more space, but it is a very good router. I upgraded from the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 and I do see the difference. It is very easy to setup and it takes very little time and effort. The only issue I have with it, is the cost. I was lucky to get it on sale.

I replaced existing Netgear router with this one due to weak signal in one of our distant bedrooms, and now that room has coverage, so this router defiantly has better range then the last model I had.

This Nighthawk X6 Router was so easy to configure, and provides maximum coverage and security for my family. It is priced a little higher that the average router, but this is no average router. The technology built in is sure to last for the next several years.

This is the BEST router I've ever had! The area I live in is sometimes a black hole for reception, and I now have my iPad back without paying the huge data charge for cellular, because I use it a lot!

I have a 3 level house and they installed our Wifi router in the basement. So the signal was weak everywhere else but there. So once I installed our new router we now have a strong signal even on the 3rd level now. Love this product!
