So I have been a total tech member at Best Buy for a year and never had the issue I had today. I bought a Netgear Orbi Tri Band mesh system with 1 Satellite and I got hacked which made the router useless and tried to call Best Buy and talk to the and they said their was nothing they could do for me that no matter what system or how expensive router u purchase if u get hacked that’s it no returns past the 60 days of coverage you have. So if you’re going to buy a router don’t do it at Best Buy do it elsewhere.

The setup is easy but the package came somewhat damaged. Initially thought received a used unit but everything turns out great.

This is an excellent device. The network speeds of this device are better than other comparable devices with similar feature sets. Additionally, this unit allow bridge mode [AKA AP Mode] which i the ideal setting for those who want to place this behind a proessional firewall, like ones from Palo Alto Networks or Fortinet.

Easy setup using the Orbi app. Great coverage in a two story 2100 sq/ft house. Nice footprint in my AV cabinet and on my office desk. I have the satellite hard wired back to the main router, but this can be a Wi-Fi connection.

When our old mesh died, we replaced it with this Orbi and it has been a great replacement. Very easy to set up and get going, my wife did it all since I was out of town. Highly recommended .

We were initially really impressed. The setup with the app was easy, the satellite connected, the wifi signal was strong. And then two weeks later, our apartment building lost power for a couple of minutes. When the power came back, the modem booted up and connected no problem. But the router absolutely refused to reconnect to internet. I unplugged everything, modem, router, and satellite, and cycled the power in the proper reconnection order. Modem booted up. Router just blinked at me. I did a factory reset and tried to set it up again through the app. It would not connect to internet. The app couldn't find it. I tested my old spectrum router, which thankfully I hadn't returned, and it connected to the modem in seconds. Tried the factory reset again. The app could find the router and took me through the 7 minute setup time, but it failed the internet connection every time. We did some research and this is apparently a known issue with Orbis. Reddit has some solutions to fix them, but they are wildly outside of a non-technical person's ability to fix. And more to the point, I shouldn't have to factory reset or modify the setup for a router to prevent a total collapse after a power drop when every router I've had up to this point has come back online just fine after a bad storm. Seriously disappointed and incredibly frustrating, not to mention a total waste of $250.

I paired the Netgear Nighthawk 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Voice/Cable Modem with this 2-pack Orbi 750 Series Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System. What a difference over the Xfinity Modem/Router! Faster speeds and much better connections with less cost in the long run. Highly recommend.

Works great most of the time. We did buy one with 3 instead of 2 units after this one.

We've had Orbi mesh systems in our home for over 5 years. Great product - this particular model ONLY works with a cat 5 connection. There is a different model that works with a cable coax connection, but those were not available in store. READ CAREFULLY to get the correct model
