This was very easy to install.....much easier than extenders. Seems to work well in my 3500 square foot home.

    Good, but expensive Router

For the first 3 days, I wanted to take a sledgehammer to it as it kept resetting when I tried to update it and kept dropping it’s signal for my kids Xbox and CPU. In addition, it had to update software/firmware 3 times. Once all that was done, it’s been great ever since. As the title states, it’s a good router, but it’s pretty expensive. IMHO, the best thing about this router is the satellites and the ability to plug an Ethernet cable into each one.

Orbi has revolutionized my home network. I could not extend my WiFi to effectively cover my entire home. Orbi...problem solved. Also, after conducting speed tests of my WiFi, Orbi is 3 times faster. LOVE IT!!!

Old router was not effective in all rooms of our home. Netgear Orbi now provides great coverage almost everywhere. Purchased the 3 pack so now we have one on the first floor, one in the family room, and one upstairs. Believe our slow speed upstairs (only one room) is result of the metal laundry chute, otherwise doubled download speeds everywhere. Had some initial startup problems but since rebooting a second time all devices are working. Couldn't be happier.

    Excellent Mesh Wifi System

I looked at almost every option to make my wifi work better. Moved extender wifi systems between upstairs and downstairs. After minimal success, I decided to invest in a much better system. I actually added the extender to the end of the mesh system and everything works well together. I have two story coverage of around 3500 square feet. Love it and it's has been easy to use and manage. Hook up was also easy. Buy it. It's a good investment. I have the hub and two satellites

Working with a stronger signal in places that were weak before. Install was a little sketchy because I hooked everything up and could not get the computer to give me the orbi web page for confirmation purposes. I then disconnected the orbi and went modem to computer to get a signal. Then it prompted me to reconnect Ethernet to orbi. I don't know why daisey chaining the Ethernet cable through the orbi to computer would not give me connectivity.

I have concrete walls in my home and had slow internet because of them. I tried 3 different products that didn't work and then bought Orbi. It's great and now I have strong internet throughout my home.

I have a 5200 sqft House. I purchased the 6,000 sqft Orbi. I get great reception throughout the house and both my Tivo's on ether side of the house get at least 87% or Higher reception. The Tivo farthest away from my internet connection used to be around 48% WITH a NetGear Extender and their top-of-the-line Nighthawk & Modem. Now it is 87% at least. I can walk all around the house with constant, uninterrupted wifi as well as around 10ft outside the house as well. Very pleased.

The range does not go as far as I thought outside in my yard, property and adjacent building, but it’s acceptable. It is the best router I have had to date. It is also priced too high.

This product works as advertised. I looked up a number of reviews from the trusted computer-geeky websites, and they all basically pointed to this model for 'mesh' wifi networking. Mesh networking is not a new concept, but it is to home wifi. I have gig fibre with maybe 100ft of cat5e to the fibre modem. From there there is another 100ft of cat5e to a cisco 3560g switch, then internal cat5e wiring in the house. I get about 680mbps download from around 30ft.

I have been dealing with poor wi-fi for years! I have tried wi-fi extenders and had no luck. After oirchasing the Orbi system, we have wi-fi all over the house with no dead spots! Worth the money!

I’m not too technically savvy but I was able to set this up with my verizon FIOS service. Was able to set the router with the 2 satellites up pretty easily. Upload and download mbps were 300-450

I had some trouble getting the base station to recognize the satellites at first, but after getting them connected, this system is working better with lower perceived latency than Google WiFi.

Having read rave reviews of the Netgear Orbi whole house WiFi system I purchased it with 2 satellites. It was not as simple and easy to install as claimed but after several failed attempts I got It to operate. The coverage is better than my previous Net gear system but coverage is only slightly better than before.better than marginally better but not greatly better which I had expected after reading reviews. It's been reliable though.

I've setup many networks over the years and this was by far the easiest to setup. I plugged them all in at various points in my house, downloaded the app and then followed the prompts on my phone. Speeds have been great as well. My house is 2500 sqft and I have fast wifi in every part of the 2 story house. I was previously using the Linksys AC1900 and didn't have wifi coverage in the entire house. I had to use some ethernet over powerline adapters.

I live in a three story house. My office is the farthest from the modem. I have tried boosters with no luck, so I thought the orbi wouldn't work. I was so wrong. It was well worth the price.
