I was less than happy with this product. Had trouble with the quality of the internet from the product. The internet kept dropping and was super slow. I called in and spoke with netgear customer support and they were still not able in resolve the issue to satisfaction. I returned and purchased the Linksys - Velop Tri-Band Whole Home Wi-Fi System. So glad I returned it the Linsys is far superior product.

We bought a couple WiFi units. this one is the best.

HAve on 3 different levels and internet works great.

Product seems to be working as advertised but software seems quite flaky. Lights flashing and software not indicating proper information yet everything seems to work. Cannot update firmware of one of the satellites.

The distance is outstanding, when it stays connected. Super fast. However i believe there is a firmware issue that causes you to get disconnected at random times. Netgear support community has over 6 pages as of this issue as of this review. Do your homework first: search google "orbi keeps losing internet connection" sadly this one is going back.

For the first two weeks things went very well. However, on the far end of our home and especially in the upstairs bedrooms where there is a third satellite we often times get a sign "on internet connection".

Ok product. Expensive. Does the job. Will keep using it to test its ability to continue working and not crash as most electronic devices have a tendency to do.

The range around items is not the best. If you have a split or multiple level home you have to place the remote units very strategically to maximize the coverage.

There have been many gaps in our service since we started using these. The gaps could be from our cable service, but we can't be sure right now. It's very expensive for having those gaps.

I was hesitant about the price bout I tried it anyway. Was working fine then after about a week it just started loose signal all the time . And coverage wasn't much better than my 60$ router

What the heck happened with recent update from Apple. I can’t connect the any of my hone devices such as Alexa or vac etc.

Bought the Orbi system in mid April. Coverage mostly solid up until a firmware update in mid May which proceeded to disconnect my Apple products and with horrible coverage on the devices that could actually connect outside of the main router room. 2 hours on the phone with tech support to no avail. They tell me it's a firmware issue and they are waiting for their engineers to correct the firmware with an update. First it was 72 hours. A week later and nothing but an email that they are working on it still. Major bummer.

I am so regretting this purchase. As I'm writing this its March 10, 2019. I have had to talk to Netgear customer support 14 times. They have replace the router and satellite and it still gives sporadic connection. They just now said they are releasing a new firmware update for the unit. After 9 months, they are finally admitting they have a problem! Buy any other unit then this one.

I can not recommend this product. I returned it after it kept dropping connection. I called tech support and they tried to help but failed. I returned the product and purchased the eero system that works flawlessly.

This isn't a true mesh. It doesn't connect you the closet router without manual intervention. Returned it

This system was continually going offline. I looked up reviews/comments and found other people complaining about same problem. I wish I would have checked before purchasing. I work remotely and need stability. I returned the system bought another brand that was more expensive but has performed exceptionally.

The satellites never remain in sync. About every 3 days I'm having to reboot the router and resync the satellites.
