Customers are delighted by the Orbi AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System's ease of use, extensive coverage, and strong signal, frequently praising its simple setup and improved range. While some users experienced connection issues and found the price high, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. A few users noted some app-related issues and compatibility challenges with certain devices.

I had tried several different systems, including the Eero and Velop. Trying to get coverage in 3 condos that had two between them. Me _ Me _ Other_Other_Me Finally got the results I needed pairing this setup with a Nighthawk X4 Extender to get the base unit in the single condo as close to the other two as possible. Let me just say lots of time and experimentation, but beats paying Cox an extra $150 + per month, right! Anyway setup was a piece of cake and if your using this in a home or office, could be setup in about an hour. You just might have to adjust the placement for the best coverage.

Decent product at first. This was my first mesh router experience and Orbi was recommended to us by the Magnolia professionals after an on-site consultation. The mesh system was light years ahead of what we had in place (just a basic router from our ISP). Over time, especially after free Orbi support ended, this particular product gave us a lot of problems. Specifically, we experienced problems with the router and satellites not communicating properly and spotty service to some devices. Switching back and forth from 2.4 ghz to 5 ghz band also was a bit wonky using Orbi. The Orbi app is slow and difficult to use. Updates aren’t automatic; if you’re intermediate to expert, Orbi is probably for you. You really need to know how to set these up properly and how to adjust the settings and keep up with them periodically via the admin site to really get the most out of this product. Otherwise, you can pay Netgear an annual fee just for the privilege of waiting on hold for an hour to speak to their tech support so they can try to help you figure out how to use their product. Personally, something this expensive should come with tech support included. I switched to Eero Pro 6 plus and never looked back.

Gets the job done, No Networked Drive Support

Bought and installed for someone's 7,500 sq/ft home. Their previous router and repeater solution could not handle the distance and they couldn't reliably use their wifi for things like streaming music across their home. This Orbi system provided solid connections across the entire house including the basement and 2nd floor. The setup and management are easy. My only issue is that is doesn't support a networked drive through it's USB port for things like Time Capsule

This product is not a TRUE mesh system but it works like it and I can say that the system takes a few min to set up but once all your devices are hooked up the speed they get is amazing and the items now look smaller but work just as good. The Orbi system is simple to use and the app is not that bad. I can block sites and have extra security with bit defender. If you do a lot of wireless stuff in the house these are the ones to get.

Easy to set up, and has most of the features you would expect in a home router. With the two satellites I was able to get good coverage on all 3 floors, so I can now actually use Wi-Fi on the top floor without issues. The management smartphone app is actually useful, though I would prefer to have the same options in the web UI so that I didn't need to install the app.

I was a little hesitant to buy this based on a few of the negative reviews where people had trouble setting it up or having droppages. But my experience was excellent. I am getting 140 Mbps download speeds in every corner of my house. With two teenagers, we have a lot of streaming going on and this solved all my bandwidth issues. Easy to set up - no issues at all. Extremely pleased.

I live in Mexico and as all know the WIFI signal there sucks and also we use always concrete walls in all contructions making it more difficutl for the WIFI signal to travel thru. My house is a 2 story house and the main router provided by the phone company is located downstairs so I always got like 1 bar of signal after I purchase and install this product I was surprice of the results. I install the manin close to the main router and the satellite in the second floor (70 feet away in second floor) and i got full speed with out compromise speed and full signal bars!!!!!! I connect all my equipment to the virtual WIFI signal from Orbi did a test by playing video on all my computers and smarth TV an signal never drop and speed never drop. Streaming was always to the best. Great results!

This system provides a reliable consistent speed at all areas of coverage under an integrated network. Different from a router and signal amplifiers there is only one network. Remote access through the phone app even when far away from home is also an advantage. I will certainly recommend this product.

I bought the 4 pack even though my house is 2,500 square feet. I needed 3 satellite for my configuration. I have Radiant Barrier in my attic so I have no Wi-Fi so this solved my problem for my printers and my Amazon streaming and Playstation 4 and Roku devices. I have Comcast and my speed is 250 mbps.

I bought this to extend wifi throughout my parents large home. They work so well that I only had to use two out of the three satellites. Instructions were easy and has been working pretty well. Star lost for one of the satellites just stopped working out of the blue recently though.

This was one of the easiest routers to setup and works like a charm. I really like the associated app that allows me to control access for each individual device as needed, or I can just let it do its thing. Works great and covers my 6,500 sq ft house without issue.

Wasn't a huge fan of NetGear, but this system completely changed my mind. Easy to set up, works great, large coverage area as advertised, and couldn't have had a better experience setting it in literally just minutes!! Best wifi system I have ever had!!!

I am very happy with this product and vey easy to setup and use. I can steam 4K on 3 TV's throw out the house with no problems. Very surprised about single strength and speed being that all interior and exterior walls are cinder block or brick.

We have a long ranch house and the equipment at the far end of the house spent a lot of time buffering. Since using this system we no longer have and issue and do not lose speed across the house.

Setup is easy enough; it doesn’t crash often like some of the other systems I’ve used. Unfortunately, despite giving ‘excellent speeds’ on the test it runs...service throughout our home is no better;-( I’ve gone through tech support...moved them around...no luck. At tech supports suggestion I bought an add on pack hoping more Orbis throughout the house would help but the main Orbi becomes useless...it can’t be used as an additional like tech support advised.

In the past I was having trouble with coverage through my home, I tried many brands and many extenders, now with Orbi I am able to have coverage at full speed from 1st Floor to 2nd Floor and over an 8,000 sqft area.

They’ve broken the mold with this kit. I actually chose this product to create a mesh network for my church campus. I created a consistent network for everyone to use from every corner of the church, which is fairly sizeable, 500ft or better from corner to corner and eccentric in layout. It was exceptionally easy to set up and has been extremely reliable through the months we’ve had it. Set it and forget it. It’s also a very nice looking setup, looks chique and modern, and avoids looking like an alien spaceship like other routers. I don’t have to hide the router or satellites, and they just sit out on display looking sassy. Love this system!
