I do experience some dropped calls when using Wi-Fi calling and moving around the house. But the reconnection is much faster than having the extender and/or alt SSID. This particular router uses tri-band signal(s) And is likely the culprit so if whole home Wi-Fi calling is your mission, I would try another option. But it certainly cover my 2-story 3200 sq ft house and gave me one SSID.

Easy set up and outstanding connection thoughout the house. I upgraded from a Nighthawk 7400 and its made all the difference. Anywhere in the house, we see a 350+Mb connection speed on wifi whereas before you might get 50Mb if you're lucky.

I had some difficulty locating the Satellite and getting devices to connect to it. Probably was more of a reflection of the inability of smartphones to easily switch over. Setting up the routers per se was a breeze. After some trial and error, I figured out the location (which happened to be in the garage) for the satellite so that I could get some signal on the driveway.

set up was easy, my 13 year old did it by herself. Works well

I love this router. Had to upgrade from our last one. I get max download speeds of 180mb at every corner of my house, including the front yard and backyard. This router exceeded my expectations!! My wife loves how it looks. It's a little tall compared to other routers but the satellite one easily blends in with our home decor in the living room.

Upgraded our wireless router when we switched to a Fiber Optic internet provider. The Orbi base is in our basement and the satellite is in my wife's office on the second floor. The satellite includes Ethernet ports to which she is connected and she gets 100 mps download speed. Wireless coverage extends 30 + feet into our yard. Very satisfied.

This was a recommended purchase for me and the unit has dramatically improved the Wifi coverage in our home. Previously we had a difficult time using devices in many different parts of our rambling house. With the Netgear system we can now stream 5 gigabytes easily and streaming is flawless. An excellent investment.

We'd had dropped Wi-Fi and no streaming service on the third floor of our home for quite a while so anything would have been an improvement. I read several reviews before purchasing the Orbi system and this one sounded the most user friendly. The system was a breeze to install. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

This is the only WiFi system that's able to cover my entire house. Tried high end ASUS 5400, and always had weak areas specially my living room where it's needed the most. I even tried WiFi extenders also of very good quality and signals were very weak. The ORBI is the only one that covers my house with strong signals in every corner, fast speeds.

I’m not one to leave reviews but I really do enjoy the orbi! My internet is at an all time. The only thing I don’t like is it doesn’t reach my pool area. The base is on my living room then there is a garage and then pool area. I wish I knew I would need another booster to reach out there. But over all great product

So far, I've had no issues with connections dropping or migrating between access points. The app is pretty lacking however. You can change the passwords and see who's connected, but that's about it. No wireless connection testing or seeing that satellite connection strength, so setting it up is mostly trial an error for finding good locations for the access points.
