I love this router the speed on it is lighting fast

I have a lot of wireless items in my house thanks to smart assistants and smart home devices. I also have 4 kids with at least 1 device each. I love the Disney Circle filters and parental controls. They are the best I have seen. Enjoying this product!

I've had this system for a couple years now, and it continues to work fine. I have a two-story 3400 sq. ft. house, and have had no problems, with one unit on each floor, at opposite ends of the house. It reaches the garage and deck/courtyard without problem. The one concern is that it always shows a "Medium" signal unless you are very close to one of the units, which looks concerning, but I've never actually had a signal strength issue. I would guess my usage is fairly low in terms of bandwidth, since there's only one of me, and I don't have a lot of cameras, etc. It is expensive, especially as newer devices have been released on the market. Also, depending on the configuration of your home, a three unit area might provide better coverage. A solid option, but I can't comment on how it would stack up to some of the newest systems.

This has a good range and good reception, I really love it

We were looking to replace the worn out 6-7 year old router. Since we just updated to ATT Giganet fiber, I knew I didn't want to use their 'WiFi' gateway since our house is so big. We have tested and get a very consistent download and upload speeds, even out by the pool area. Worth the money, at least for this buyer.

I have tried Xfinity pods and Google mesh wifi to get a decent connection in a home theater on the lower level of our home. It would be too difficult to pull cables to the room for an access point. We gave orbi a try and it works perfectly. We stream 4k movies with problem

Our 2 Story home has a heckuva time with consistent a WiFi signal and not only did this do the trick, but it exceeded our expectations. 3 Smart TVs, 2 iPads, 2 work laptops, numerous Smart Home accessories (Alexa, Sonos,...). Spend the money and quit being frustrated.

My daughter could not get wi-fi good in her room and there was dead spots in the house where the wi-fi would not work but since getting the Orbi she has excellent Internet in her room and there has not been a dead spot in the house. I can even take the laptop all the way out to my pool and still connect to the Internet. I love it.

I have a 2000 sqft house and i could never get signal in my back bedroom. I went to Best Buy and the sales person was great and explained all my options. Brought it home and hooked it up in 45 min and i have not had a drop in movies or anything since installing. Love and would recommend to anyone.

Excellent performance and ease of use and installation.

Purchased this system because pricing was less than EERO and had more wired connection port which worked for our set up. We added 2 more satellites and used this not as a router but an access point with our Netgear router. It worked very well for a time. Netgear released a firmware update and it knocked the system off line. I was able to roll back the firmware and after reading a bunch on the community forum learned to do the updates manually which worked fine. Then they pushed an update that really didn't have anything to do with our system, it was language fixes for non US English, but what it did do, was make it so manual updates were MUCH harder to do. Wiped us out again. All day of working on it, getting it going again by rolling it back then it updated itself over night and offline again. Hours again with trying many things only to get half up and half not working etc. Bottom line, I am not a network administrator and don't want to be. When this worked it worked well, when it didn't it was catastrophic and I spent way too many hours dealing with it. Netgear support wasn't very supportive to me. The community was trying to be helpful but it is simply beyond me. Gave up, bought a different brand.

The main reason I got this was to replace my previous setup which was an Asus AC1900 router with a Netgear EX7000 extender. I was tired of switching from one SSID to an another when I'm out of range at home. At the same time, a few of my cameras are on the wireless network which streamed fine. However once I switched to the Orbi setup, my cameras show up pixelated when there are a lot of movement as if the Orbi wasn't able to keep up with the bandwidth. To confirm if this was the issue or not, I re-added the extender (wired) and the pixelation is gone. I haven't had a chance to perform any speed test on the Orbi yet, but just from changing my cameras back to my wireless extender the improvement was obvious. I now use my extender dedicated to my wireless cameras only. I would still recommend this to anyone who is looking for a Wi-Fi mesh system. However I think this is overpriced. Maybe the Google Wi-Fi is the better option for less. It just too much work for me to swap everything out and redo my setup since I have too many wireless devices in my house.

Purchased the satellite set to extend coverage on a two acre lot. My house sits at the front of the lot and my work shop is at the very rear of the lot. Previously had an extender that kept dropping out due to dead zones and the distance. The satellites fixed that problem, I have a solid three WiFi bars in my work shop.

Before the Orbi we were not able to use WiFi in all rooms and in the living room we were constantly pixelated and buffering. I had tried a WiFi extender which not only didn’t work well but you had to switch back and forth between networks. The single mesh network works flawlessly.

This router reaches all rooms in house! Works great.
