Unreliable. Waste of money.

Wasted money on higher GB SD card but still does not record properly. Waste of $400+ as it does not reliable stay on

Great in good lighting, not so much in low light

What they don’t tell you is that it’s only the forward camera, The inside facing camera does a poor job in low light. I purchased the camera as a safety measure for driving Lyft. If it doesn’t show details inside the car at night, the value is greatly lessened

It sounds like your vehicle was turning off the power to the dashcam when your car stop/started. The best way to resolve this is to fit a Nextbase hard wire kit on a permanently live fuse and then enable Parking Mode on the dashcam.

Am I doing something wrong?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this dash camera right before a road trip and it took a ridiculous amount of time to set up and get synced with the app. Once it was set up it had a nice picture on the screen and record and playback was easy, however, mounted and plugged into the car was a different story. The first night I tried to check the footage, 56 gbs of data recorded but it was all black. Static noise and shoving could be heard but absolutely no picture. Not sure what happened but have yet to figure it out. Since I was on a 2 week road trip by the time I got home I could no longer return it.
