When it works..Great Camera

I was having freezing issues and had to keep formatting the card and restting the camera. The Customer Service people weren't open and honest with me. After much B S., I asked if there was a known problem. They wouldn't respond.
I turned off the "Imagine Stabization" and guess what, problem fixed. I again asked them about problems and they finally admitted the problem that they hope to fix with a firmware update.

Easy to setup, given enough wire so you can hide it so it does not show. I didn't like the 3m tape which is impossible to adjust if you do not put it in the right spot the first time.
I like the magnetic mount of the camera, this enables me to take the camera on and off it easily to access the memory card.
I set up the camera 1080 and the picture quality was very good. License plates were easily readable, which why we use this in the first place.
The image stabilization is a must have feature because of the crappy quality of the roads in NY.
The time stamp feature is nice to have in case you get into an accident all the data is there including GPS info.
The screen size was perfect, big enough to see easily, but small enough so it does not become a distraction. You can also setup a screen saver to make it even less of a distraction.
The SOS function is nice, but I wouldn't pay for it when the free trial runs out.
The only cons is that the suction cup was not included and I need to purchase a large SD card for this camera.

What a waste of money! I bought the 622GW thinking it would be a quality dashcam. Nope. Not 6 months of having it, it died. No power, no lights, nothing - dead. Since it was under warranty, I had it replaced by BB. The same thing happened. But since I already exchanged one, BB wouldn't let me exchange or refund the second defective dashcam. $400 wasted.

The auto technician is definitely the best I have ever come in contact with with knowledge of his job and his friendly courtesy. Has a strong desire to help his customers. I have been around a few decades, and know talent when I see it, he is definitely a huge credit to Best Buy. I sure the management at the Chesapeake Square best but store in Chesapeake recognize his talent and his desire to help the customers who come into the squad bay for help
