This is a great dashcam. I used it for a long drive and it recoreded everything great with detail in 1080p. The app is easy to use with my android phone. It's simple to set it up and start . Great camera to have in case you need proof of an accident or things like that.

* you need to buy an SD card to use this product. One does not come in the box. Set up of this dash cam was fairly easy, the instructions were well written and easy to understand. The unit itself is a great size, not too big to distract you but also large enough to fit a 2.5 inch touch screen to view video on. This cam has a few really cool options. One is the SOS feature that will alert authorities to you location if you've been in an accident. It will also start recording when the car is parked and it senses motion such as someone bumping into your car in a parking lot when you're not in it. Both of these features can come in pretty handy. It can also connect to your phone to be able to easily review video. I have an iphone 8 plus and had no connection issues. Video quality is great. This is a great entry level/ basic dash cam on the cheaper end of the market

The Nextbase 322GW is a great entry level priced camera. We have been using it for 3 weeks strong now and have actually needed it twice. The quality is top notch and the nighttime footage is much better than the Escort M1. The videos are stored in time sections for ease of replaying and the on device options for watching are that of a camera twice its cost. Mounting is easy and the cord is long but could use another 2 feet so you can run it around the window frame and down the pillar for better placement out of the way. There is zero lag in the camera as well, video is smooth and not notch one bit unlike my M1. Colors are true and when zooming in, you will be pleasantly surprised on how easy you can read signs and license plates for identification. I highly recommend this camera, every car should have one for insurance purposes.

This is very useful especially the way people drive nowadays. Also like the SOS feature but it needs a subscription. Now as far as the 322GW. Easy installation, no issues expect for one thing. You will need a microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card. It does not have to be Nextbase and you can easily find one pretty much anywhere just make sure it is between 16gb to 256gb. Mine is 64gb and works great. So dont do what I did and look all over the box to see if you dropped it, it does not come with one and you do need one to operate and install the product. Once that little snafu was overcome the dash cam was a piece of cake to install and use with an app that I think is pretty easy to understand and use. Overall a great product that can be extremely useful for you and also is modular which means you can always add a rear view cam to this one etc etc...

Took a while for my car and electronics guy to get me an appointment but I am so glad to have this thing installed. I feel good about being on the road and having some video proof about the road in front of me. I do wish I could have got a model with a rear camera as well but something in the future. I tested this product out to make sure that this was something that generated value, and it does. Install to make sure you don't mess up your car or fuse box. Not unless this is what you do for a living then give it a shot.

It is a given that in these uncertain times the Nextbase - 322GW Dash Cam is a must have for your protection and peace of mind. The setup took about 15 minutes, including hardware, apps and update. I like the software. It's user friendly but I don't understand why there's 2 separate apps just to have live view. I like the red button to save an incident from accidental erasure. SOS mode is an excellent touch. The video clarity is excellent and the system is expandable by adding a rear view camera, and a parking mode harness. The best part is the harness is less than $30 and BB will install for $45. Super Sweet!! Security that won't break the bank. What could be better? Cheers!

Received this very fast and easily installed this the next day. No issues using this cam or being able to view the recorded trips I took on my phone. I will continue to use this where ever I go.

Really high quality cam and videos. I give thumbs-up to the magnetic mount and the modular cameras. I got the "cabin" video add-on and we love it for those Carpool Karaoke moments!

Would recommend this dash cam. Clear video with views from the front and sides. Don't ever have to touch it.

This dash cam comes with nice mounting hardware and a very long power cable which is a nice touch and makes the install a breeze. You will need a Micro SD card which is not included, but this is standard. The setup with Android is pretty straightforward but can be problematic, which is why I only gave this dash cam 4 stars. After a little trial and error I have this working flawlessly with my One Plus 7 Pro and I am loving it! It has a very wide angle so it captures a good view of what is in front of me as well as both sides of the road, and if you look through all the settings you will see that this dash cam has quite a few features at the price point. If you are just getting into the dash cam world this one is definitely worth checking out!

Worked for a few years but randomly won’t record. Turns on, I have the same high speed memory card I always did that worked, I formatted the memory, factory reset the device, tried plugging it into a power source in my house, for a new high speed memory card, formatted that…it just will not let me hit the record button. It sometimes acts like it’s recording for a minute or less upon startup. It’s like the camera is corrupted itself. Very odd. My Best Buy didn’t have a staffed bay for awhile so I couldn’t get it fixed and never heard back about another store getting me in.

Device is good but App is crap. Just purchased this device a few weeks ago. Not satisfied with this crappy app. First of all, why do I have to always have to have my car on to access my files in the app? So stupid. Second - when I have my car on, the app rarely connects properly. When it does finally connect to my cam, it is sporadic and intermittent and disconnects in the middle of me downloading files. I end up having to take the SD card out to get my files manually, no good in a Emergency. This issue significantly decreases the value of the device. I have a newer Android device and the app is completely up-to-date.

Video quality is great, but it's the features that make this dash camera stand out. The app on phones is quite good, but the app on PC rocks. It shows an overlay on Google maps of location, your direction, speed, even Gs! Would be an awesome ally in an accident, hoping I won't actually have to use it for that.

Ive had this cam now for 3 yrs. 1st issue i had was the wifi transfer to my phone never working, 2nd was the battery that went bad in the 1st year, 3rd is the random having to reboot the cam due to locking up or screen going black or white. Overall this cam is still working but would not have chosen this one, i have other cams that are 5+ yrs old that have never had any issues.

Bought this camera for my wives car. I have the 622 and this one is great for a secondary car in the house

It won't hold a charge, it overheats and shuts off. I bought the 322 model and the cabin camera and none of it connects to the app or records. There's no detailed instructions. It won't connect to my phone. If i'm paying $300 I would like everything to work. The app also doesn't work.. again nothing works. I'm returning tomorrow.

I would have purchased this camera but it requires a phone for the app for updates, downloading....well too bad. I hate cell phones and I do just fine without one. Nothing is that important. Too bad.

This is our 2nd Nextbase dash cam purchase. Had a minor issue which was handled promptly and courteously. The customer service representative went above and beyond my expectations to resolve my issue. The Nextbase brand will always have me as a customer !

So far its a great simple camera. Also I bought the rear facing camera that plugs into the side of it so i didn't have to run another cable to the rear of the vehicle.
