This camera is a great second camera for me. I started out with a point and shoot that had a few more capabilities than your typical point and shoot. This one has so many more features than that one and the quality of the pictures is so much higher. I am perfectly happy with this camera.

The Nikon D3400 bundle is a great camera outfit for the price. Both lens are sharp. The weight is minimal which make switching between lens easy and more fun to use. I highly recommend for anyone looking to expand the photography well beyond the phone cameras. The difference is significant.

This camera package is a great deal for beginners and casual photographers. Image quality is amazing and the camera is easy to use. I did end up returning this camera for the D5500 since I wanted the touch screen, but comparing the two cameras, you will get very very similar image quality.

This is a good starting camera to get your feet wet in photography. The weight is great to take around to different places without having something cumbersome tethered to you. Do yourself a favor and invest in either a 35mm or 50mm lens though to shoot with, and then thank me later.

Was taking pictures immediately. Very simple to get started and snap some nice photos. We are using f-stop and aperture settings pretty easy to get better photos than a phone. Drops pictures to my wife's phone via Bluetooth and she can post and send to other Moms. Very happy overall.

I bought this camera for my girlfriend and she absolutely loves it. She has been wanting to get a camera to learn with and after a couple of youtube videos on the different settings she has been good to go. Really easy to set up and go and even came with a free case.
