His brother that has the 3D XL actually enjoys playing on this 2DS as well. I just wish that since it does not come with the ability to close that it would have come with a screen protector.

Not ideal

I bought this one because it would play his old games and does not have the weak hinge. It has a camera and SD Card, wifi access, mini-joystick... But it seems flimsy and I can't stand the fact that it doesn't use a standard USB charger.

Although you cant play them in 3D and you cant fold or close your system, it is still a good handheld system to just simply to jump in and play the most current games with your friends.
