Did not meet expectations. I researched this product for weeks before buying it. Sadly, I returned it 2 days later, as it does not gamestream well, even with a great wifi connection. That was the main reason for buying it, but the lag is too much for me. I enjoy my NVIDIA GeForce GTX did that's what I'm sticking with from now on. Just gonna play on my monitor.

Even tho I didn't get this device to play games the few games I've played on it play pretty good. For kodi users it's the best box out there hands down and with the newest Android kernel installed it should not be obsolete for quite a while

We took the recommendation of a Best Buy Associate and bought this device. We bought the Pro Version and Very glad we did. We travel with this device always and feel as if we never miss the comfort of our shows. Excellent purchase!

The Shield has the best looking 4K images of everything that is out there and that is the best news. The user interface leaves a bit to be desired as adding channels is not so easy so if you are planning on "cutting the cord" this may not be your go to device.

Features like being able to be a self contained Media Server is great. I find it slow at times, implementation of the DVR function for "live Channels" doesn't work - no audio and trying to record current programs doesn't work. You can only record Future shows. By holding the enter button or the home button, you will get a menu, but it doesn't actually record. I submitted to tech supt about the "no Audio" - no response. The Plex media server works ok, but you can't watch live video while recording, like you would expect from a normal DVR. I have recommended this item, but only because I am assuming NVIDIA will address it's shortcomings soon.

I bought this to be my HTPC for my new entertainment room. It works well, there are issues with the controller staying synced & transferring files can be irritating. It streams very well in 4K & can play all the formats you need.

This one is great only if your going to play games otherwise you don't need the the extra space past that this device puts all other streaming devices to shame

Overall great quality video, 4k runs smoothly, games run fast. Seems to be a bit buggy when it goes into sleep mode though, constantly having to power it down and reboot it.

Its streams movies really well and shows good quality videos.

This is the bes product for streaming we are are so happy with how many useful was you can use this product gaming watching Netflix and so much more check it out its worth the money I bought 2.

The Shield works great as both a plex server and when used with services like HBOgo, Netflix, and Amazon Prime

The shield TV pro may cost a premium but it offers so much more than your average smart device. Highly recommended if you have the extra cash and this is coming from someone who is still learning of its capabilities.

I use this as a plex media server. The PMS functions are limited on the shield but works for my needs. Streaming my movies to other devices and recording forbade games when I'm at work.

glad I bought this,was having a hard time figuring out what to get for christmas.then I ran across this and boom ,it works like a charm.

One of the best, i use netflix, kodi, plex and all of the google play store in aditional i can play stream games or download games

Not only does it stream games but I have it setup as a Plex Media server. Up to 5 1080p streams within my network with no buffer. 3 transcoded streams outside network no problem!

Better than any other unit out there. Best video quality and LOTS of storage. Worth the money if used properly.

I love this android tv box. I had an android box before but this Nvidia Shield blows it out the water. The color, power and speed gives you an awesome experience.
